Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars is incredible - no joke. But, the message needs to be made clear: needing to unlock playable characters is bad. Bad online lobbies are bad. Input delay is bad. If anything keeps TvC from making waves, it'll be these key issues.

If you can recruit a legion of 256 like minded players then MAG would be an experience like no other, but its potential is sadly lost as, at this primal and critical stage, it still needs time to fully flourish.

Serious Sam HD is a barebones remake of a nine-year-old game that needed to be tightened up to compete with the high-quality shooters available today.

To put it bluntly, Return to Ostagar is five dollars and will last you one or two hours. It poses no real challenge or overall benefit in experience and rewards. The best option would be to investigate the weapon and armor received, and see if it is worth the five dollars. However, for me, I can’t help but look around the corner at the expansion and see these upgrades as useless for my end-game characters.

Sands of Destruction looks good, and sounds good. But the story premise collapses under its own weight, and it may very well be the easiest RPG I have ever played in my life. It's an entertaining diversion as long as you understand that you won't be challenged at all.

Sky Crawlers is a solid flight sim that's brought down by a few unfortunate design flaws.

Zero Gear brings a tried and true kart mechanic to the PC, which can be extremely fun in short bursts. However, spotty controls and a lack of variety in weaponry and environments can quickly turn a session of Zero Gear into repetitive play that only die-hard kart racing fans would find enjoyable.

Despite the same-day release as Sega’s pivotal action adventure title, Vigil Games’ debut is a fine introduction to their future repertoire. The bar for 2010 has been raised a little early, but hey, so did the Apocalypse - and look what that got us.

Bayonetta is an action masterpiece. All you action fans out there should run out and buy it, and just about everyone should give it a try on Very Easy mode at the very least.

Though you could obtain a more polished experience, you'll be hardpressed to find an RPG that offers the same innovative direction. If it weren't for minor glitches and some finicky controls, Divinity II: Ego Draconis could easily sit amongst some of the genre's greatest.

As a big fan of Borderlands, I hate to say it, but great ideas, good intentions, and a sexy NPC just aren’t enough to overcome the frustration present after the beginning of Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot. This one is impossible to recommend for 10 bucks.

PixelJunk Shooter is simple, fun, and addicting, but a tad short. Nonetheless, Shooter is quite possibly the best bang for your buck on PSN.

QIX++ strays from its namesake, offering an experience so short that you'll wonder just what those plus symbols are trying to tell you. With some more care and a lot more content, this could have been great.

Silly slapstick mechanics and shenanigans aside, The Saboteur is a capable contender for this year’s fourth quarter brawl. Pandemic's last will be a sleeper hit, but hopefully enough will wake up and take notice of an impressive swan song.
