Soldner X2: Final Prototype offers the pinnacle of it's genre. Ultimately accessible & joyfully playable, this offers a fantastic starting point for gamers new to schmups as well as a warm fuzzy feeling for the long time player. A frenetic explosion of colour and liquid smooth motion make this one of the best shooters I have ever played.- Gamer Limit

Reach is a solid title, but Halo gameplay is getting stale. Fans should purchase, everyone else could make do with a rental.- Gamer Limit

If you absolutely hated the original Angry Birds, AB: Rio isn't really going to sway you into becoming a fan; but if you at least had *some* fun with the original, you should most definitely come back for more, especially at the .99 price point.- Gamer Limit

Pikmin 3 isn’t the savior of the Wii U, and the lack of online play is a major bummer, but it’s still an overall satisfying experience, and another win for Miyamoto. It’s cute, it’s tactically deep, and if you can find a local friend to play with, it’ll last you a long, long while.- Gamer Limit

Although a number of things could have been done to increase the fun factor of Torgue, if you're looking for more Borderlands 2, this is it, and this is what Mad Moxxi should have been.- Gamer Limit

Thrilling, chilling, with a whole lot of blood spilling. A deeply intense and enjoyable single player game, marred slightly by a lack of multiplayer, clunky combat, and some repetitive gameplay.- Gamer Limit

Although it's not the perfect, laugh-out-loud ending we all wanted, The Rise of the Pirate God is still one of the best chapters of the five part series.- Gamer Limit

At the end of the day, barring a few standout games, Game & Wario feels like a tech-demo for concepts that will be fully adapted on the Wii U at a later date — but it’s an absolutely stellar tech-demo, and there’s nothing wrong with that.- Gamer Limit

It's not a bad first outing as a series reboot, but EA has a lot of work to do if they want that number one FPS spot back.- Gamer Limit

All in all, Black Ops II is a solid game, but it feels kind of tired at this point in many respects. The new additions to the single player, zombie, and multiplayer components are a good effort, but they're not enough to transcend the series to a new level (like Halo 4 did for the Halo series). But if you enjoyed Black Ops, odds are you'll also enjoy Black Ops II - albeit a little less so.- Gamer Limit

At the end of the day, there are very few franchises that evoke a sense of power just like the Prototype series, and the sequel doesn't disappoint: just don't expect anything groundbreakingly new.- Gamer Limit

Alan Wake takes some risks, and each one helps to make the game feel fresh and rewarding. However, those areas where it doesn't take risks can introduce some tedium into an otherwise engrossing experience.- Gamer Limit

While Dance Central 2 hasn't done anything vastly different to move the genre forward, it is still a solid entry, and has solidified itself as a solid franchise. As long as you don't mind looking a little goofy in front of friends, you really can't go wrong popping this in at a party to liven the mood a bit.- Gamer Limit

Without multiplayer, Ascension would be a weaker package. It’s only slightly above average on the grand stage of action, and is marred with technical problems, a lack of polish, and a lack of a poignant narrative. But overall, the experience is still a positive one, and Sony Santa Monica did a great job bringing competitive play to the franchise.- Gamer Limit

All in all Max Payne 3 doesn't transcend the third person shooting genre, but it's a damn fine game, and a solid entry in the Max Payne series. If you're not the biggest fan of third person shooters, it won't do anything to sway you, but the highs most definitely weigh out the lows in Max's latest adventure.- Gamer Limit
