Devil Summoner 2 is a huge improvement over the first and another great installment in the Shin Megami Tensei series that both newcomers and series veterans can enjoy.

Ultimately, if you loved inFamous, then you're going to love inFamous 2. If you had doubts about the franchise, then inFamous 2 probably isn't going to change your mind. inFamous 2 is a good game, and definitely one of the better ones in the superhero genre, but it feels too similar to its predecessor and there are too many issues that keep it from being the electrifying knockout Sucker Punch wanted it to be.

Sanctum 2 puts a bit too much emphasis on the FPS aspect of the game.

Hearts of Iron 3 is by far the most complicated and in-depth strategy game I’ve ever played. My big issue with it is that I didn’t have much fun with the game after delving through hours of menus: it wasn’t until I actually experienced some combat that the game stopped feeling stale.

3D wise, V doesn't really take advantage of the hardware.

Nin2-Jump is a bit of an anomaly: while it may initially appeal to Cave fans, and it is fun while it lasts, the game isn't deep enough to whet said fan's appetites.

At least $10 worth of entertainment, especially if you're an electronica aficionado or an ambient game/puzzle junkie. As a band tribute, Green Day: Rock Band falls considerably short of The Beatles: Rock Band's lofty ambition and execution, but hardcore fans of the band are safely catered for by its mammoth bulk of musical content spanning Green Day's most notable hits.

While it does nothing to really stand alone, Singularity provides a decent enough experience to help whittle away a dull summer.

While it may be a step up for the franchise, it doesn't do anything radical that will sway non-fans. LEGO Batman 2 may encourage more exploration, but thematically, and gameplay wise, it's still relatively simplistic.

As a technical demonstration of the PlayStation Move's prowess and future potential, Sports Champions excels. The majority of mini-games are fun and show depth in places, but a few misfires and soulless presentation let down an otherwise solid package.

Provided that your a strategy RPG fan, if you’ve always wanted to see Mega Man X team up with Frank West and Jill Valentine, you’ll want to pick this game up for novelty alone.

It’s an improvement over last year’s iteration, but if you’re getting a next-gen console, you definitely want to wait to upgrade for feature parity with the PC version.

All in all, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is a good game, but a great art direction, narrative, and fantastic soundtrack can only go so far to counterbalance a short campaign with average gameplay.

Kirby's Return to Dreamland channels the classic spirit of Kirby into modern times and it's a resounding success.

Still, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is a very serviceable platformer that I really enjoyed my time with when it hit all of the right notes. Although it may not be the be all end all of mascot games in the HD-era, and the shining savior of the Sly Cooper franchise, platforming fans (and Cooper fans) should find plenty to enjoy in Sly and the gang’s latest adventure.

Professor Layton And The Diabolical will certaintly please fans of the original, as well as newcomers seeking a solid puzzle solving experience.

It offers up a decent amount of missed opportunities, but still manages to capture some of the magic that Resident Evil was known for. If you’ve been waiting for a game in the franchise to return to its horror roots, this isn’t quite it, but it should leave you somewhat satisfied.

QuantZ is a worthy addition to your puzzle game library if you have even a passing interest in casual games. It won't unseat Tetris or Peggle, but there's plenty of stress-free gaming to be had.

With a fantastic soundtrack and great rhythm-based gameplay this release lives up to the pedigree of Gaijin Games' growing library of fantastic Wii-Ware releases.

Straying from the mold, Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans is a solid adaptation of the high flying, explosive action for the RPG genre. While it's not a perfect game by any means, it's quite possibly the best Dragon Ball Z game to date.

The gameplay improvements are fantastic but, in the end, NCAA Football 13 fails to provide enough to warrant an upgrade over last year's title. While it is still an enjoyable game, much more thought will need to go into this purchase if you are a seasoned veteran. But as mentioned previously, if you haven't found yourself on the college gridiron in a while, it is well worth your money.

If you've played Final Fantasy 4 and crave a second helping: dig in. If you haven't played Final Fantasy 4, you might as well play After Years instead, because the very least, you can probably get it cheaper.

In the end, Captain Scarlett offers pretty much more of the same amount of fun found in the core game, and it never really progresses any further than that.

Cities XL suffers from too many preventable faults to be considered a success. It's a shame, since under the surface hides a powerful and creative beast.

Though you could obtain a more polished experience, you'll be hardpressed to find an RPG that offers the same innovative direction. If it weren't for minor glitches and some finicky controls, Divinity II: Ego Draconis could easily sit amongst some of the genre's greatest.

If you can get past all the problems that plague the PC version, you'll discover an extremely fun and addicting FPS that sprinkles in some RPG elements, and a "bazillion" guns, to create a unique experience unlike anything else.
