Outstanding open-world racer with one of the series' finest worlds to date, even if it fails to deliver significant new innovations.

Enormously atmospheric mix of skills and puzzles with a great graphic style which captivates to the end on the switch, too.

Anyone who likes old-school JRPGs with a turn-based combat system, who enjoys his loving and sometimes crazy characters and would like to travel a colorful, lovingly designed game world, cannot beat this game.

The action-adventure has never been better, never was it more meaningful than in this remake. With the help of a modern presentation aimed at promoting the strengths of the original and not just obscuring legacies, the Bluepoint Games developers have managed to bring the feel to the PS4. Even those who have already killed all 16 colossi will find, here, a new level of melancholy, which was not felt on the PS2 or even the PS3.

For a long time we had to wait for a worthy remake of Resident Evil 2 and to get straight to the point, every single day was more than worth it. Capcom delivers the most effective remake of all time, both visually and playfully, aimed at die-hard fans of the series as well as novices in the survival genre. The bloody splatter fireworks combined with great light and shadow effects and a sound design that miraculously supports the horror create a special atmosphere that players rarely experience.

Animal Crossing New Horizons did everything right by jumping on the switch. The controls are pleasant, the crafting is clear and the challenges are so diversified that they will motivate hobbyists and craftsmen for a long time.

Despite small glitches, the MS Flight Simulator is a marvellous experience on the Xbox Series X/S as well. Beginners can book their flight without further ado.

Excellent, energetic, moving. Despite its small quirks, Ori 2 is one of the best Metroidvanias ever.

The series has never been so beautiful and accessible. Still, Monster Hunter World remains a challenging action game for grind-loving hunters.

If you are willing to invest work in learning the combat system, you will have a lot of fun. Away from this, Sekiro, like his spiritual predecessors, convinces with a fascinating setting that does not match the quality and variety of game worlds like Lordran or Yharnam. Technically, however, the game presents itself from a single source, tells an exciting story and offers sufficient scope for many fun hours.

The remakes are not flawless and the game design also shows its age here and there. Vicarious Visions, on the other hand, succeeded in achieving the goal of getting the THPS vibes across. Nice that "old" Tony is back.

Alan Wake 2 is a creative, atmospheric story highlight, but from a technical point of view it gives you little nightmares on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
