Iron Crypticle is arcade shoot ‘em up done right with decent twin stick gameplay that changes up often enough to keep the player engaged for many runs. With the addition of powerful bosses, impressive power ups, diverse enemies, and an interesting main concept, this title is quite a hidden gem.- GameGrin

For an hour-long experience, the main thing I took away from The Search were cheap puzzle mechanics and quotes by American lecturer Joseph Campbell. If the game’s main themes were not as openly sermonising, then I could see the narrative being less tedious and players would get more out of it. But sadly, the extent of the story would have been much better suited as an essay, short film, or poem.- GameGrin

Conga Master Party is a really fun game to play, particularly in multiplayer. It’s a real throwback to the primary mobile games, a time when Smartphones were non-existent. Full 360 degree movement, colourful graphics, a quirky soundtrack, and a good progression system make this game a solid entry for indie titles on the Switch.- GameGrin

Kingdoms and Castles is an amazingly sweet experience. It currently has a lot of room to grow, but the base experience is already very satisfying -- with charming graphics and smooth gameplay, this is one of those games you can just lose yourself for hours after a hard day’s work. The best titles in the strategy genre have that amazing ability to let you accomplish something while providing you a relaxing experience, and in that regard, Kingdoms and Castles is up there with the best of them.- GameGrin

Yakuza Kiwami does a whole lot right, while only making a few errors. Other than the control scheme being a bit dated, Yakuza Kiwami comes together as a solid remake of the original title.- GameGrin

This one's easy. Do you like shooting robots? Could you play a game where you continuously shoot robots with no other clear goal? If the answer is yes, then this may be for you. If you require something deeper then you may want to pass on this one.- GameGrin

There is a revolution happening in Battlefield 1 and it’s not just with the arrival the latest expansion pack. With reworked mechanics, more progression and rewards; It’s clear that DICE is implementing fundamental changes for the series. Unfortunately, even though the tides are turning, as of right now they are held back by the obligations of the available season pass.- GameGrin

With its rich story, compelling characters, and wealth of different ways to approach any situation, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is a title that plants its flag in the tactical RPG genre and stands heads and tails above its competitors. Requiring plenty of patience to learn the game mechanics and to absorb the immense amount of story thrown at the player; this title may not be for everyone but if you’re willing to invest the time this title is one that will be played over and over for years to come.- GameGrin

Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is arguably the best game in the series so far. With it's fast paced, movement focused gameplay and the wealth of content available to a player you will find something to keep you entertained. It isn’t a perfect game and of course it is not going to be for everyone but for those who are looking for a fun and addictive shooter look no further then Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash.- GameGrin

This title is pretty and has decent platforming despite not pulling the player in or offering challenging puzzles. Simply put, it does as much right as it does wrong. It’s short, but it doesn’t overstay its welcome due to that. It’s too easy, but it makes for a nice quick completion when you’ve got some extra time. Might not be a bad idea to wait for a sale and complete it in only a little bit more time than it takes to download.- GameGrin

An improvement over the previous episodes and the last season, but still marred by technical problems with Telltale’s aging engine.- GameGrin

I found Project Remedium’s aura to be its highlight, and gameplay its downfall. It claims to be story-driven, but there isn’t much of a story. Missions are utterly generic without much to enhance the experience in terms of skill trees or equipment. I definitely recommend Project Remedium based on its concept alone, but the gameplay itself is no better than average.- GameGrin

A decent game that doesn’t seem like it was completely finished before being released. It’s not a bad game, but neither is it a great game. One for hardcore Visual Novel fans only I’m afraid.- GameGrin

If you're looking for something to play that's a little naughty and is actually fun, there are better games. If you're looking for a time and money management game that feels mock-naughty, then you can give this one a try. The game isn't terribly fun or entertaining, it could be re-branded as Hollywood Studio Tycoon with a few explosions and movie modes added and it'd probably be a better game.- GameGrin

The Escapists 2 adds a lot of content and is still the best prison escaping simulator available. There really aren't any major negatives here; if you enjoy the thought of planning prison escapes in a videogame you should pick this up right now.- GameGrin

The PC market is already over-saturated with zombie shooters, and Crimson Earth doesn’t bring anything new to the table. With enough bugs, odd design choices and crashes to fill a book, you’d be better off sticking to richer shooters such as Killing Floor or Nation Red. Even for the £2.79 price tag, this is really hard to recommend.- GameGrin

DeadCore is a challenging puzzle-platformer that really demands a high skill level of its player base. Visually is it incredibly uninspired and overly busy in places, which can make the occasional frame drops quite frustrating. The mix between first-person shooting mechanics and freerunning platforming make the game a blast to play. For those who want a challenging platforming title on the PS4, DeadCore is right up your alley. For casual gamers out there, I would recommend going elsewhere.- GameGrin

Despite enjoying my time with Galaxy of Pen and Paper I can’t really recommend a game that corroded my save file twice in under 20 hours. Every time I load a save I have to cross my fingers and hope it works, and while I typically enjoy rolling dice, loading a game is definitely an exception.- GameGrin

What could have been is a theme writ large in this game. The mark was missed by so narrow a margin it’s a real shame. I’m not going to say avoid like the plague like I did with Hatred, because Train Mechanic Simulator 2017 has its good points, but if you decide to buy the game, be aware that you’re not buying what a lot of people would consider a completed product.- GameGrin

Not only is Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 the best football game in terms of graphics, it is the best I have experienced in terms of gameplay. The level of detail and player likenesses create a game that comes as close to you'll get to the real thing. There are still a few minor issues with presentation, and perhaps a few more changes could have been made to Master League and Become a Legend, but I'm clutching at straws here. The gameplay is near perfection, the AI and goalkeepers are improved, Konami have added further licenses to their product, and the graphics are amazing. Hopefully the servers are ready for online and with just a few minor presentation improvements to be improved on, PES really has set the bar of what a football game should be.- GameGrin

Mages of Mystralia is a beautiful looking game containing balanced gameplay surrounded by solid folklore. The spellcrafting system is one-of-a-kind, but contributes to puzzle-solving much more than it does combat. Either way, the puzzles are varied and fair in terms of difficulty, but weak character development and jumpy pacing will surely throw you off.- GameGrin

Copious amounts of story content occasionally broken up by challenging tactical combat will keep you entertained for hours. Masquerada is a beautiful game with fantastic well written characters and a plethora of story content. If you’re the type that likes to take their time and absorb themselves in the world then Masquerada: Songs and Shadows is the game for you.- GameGrin

I would argue that Eventide 2 is one of, if not, the best Artifex Mundi games available on Xbox at this point. I truly hope that future titles share Eventide 2's trend of improving on previous games. Honestly though, you'll have to have played the previous titles to appreciate the changes this title has made.- GameGrin

Running and gunning, exploration, big bosses, upgrades and tons of deaths makes this game mostly enjoyable throughout many runs. While not improving on The Binding of Isaac's gameplay, Feral Fury does a good job of good enough replacement that can stand on its own if given the chance.- GameGrin
