Midnight Fight Express is a short and brutal fight that doesn’t overstay its welcome. You’ll definitely come out of it with more than a few scrapes, but it’s all worth it just to watch the sun rise at the end.

Restless Soul is a fun game, with great characters and a silly story that is sure to make you laugh. The game is a lot more challenging than the simple retro-looking graphics will make you believe.

Turrican Anthology Vol. II is another good set of retro run-and-gun action games. This collection features titles that are more linear than those in the first collection, but two of the games are very similar to each other.

Turrican Anthology Volume 1 is a fun collection of challenging, run-and-gun titles with tons of exploration from early in the Turrican franchise. The second Volume of games is available with more of the later releases so it may be worth looking into before buying this title.

Alongside simplistic combat, The Tale of Bistun tells a compelling story that offers a glimpse into Persian mythology and doesn’t overstay its welcome. It keeps your attention with smooth traversal through charming landscapes backed by a solid narration.

A good game that suffers from a few balancing issues in places and some frustration bugs. Nonetheless, still a solid and fun co-op experience.

Though the amount of content is definitely lacking in Fred3ric, it offers straightforward gameplay and enjoyable melodies. Detailed backdrops also enhance the experience and keep levels looking fresh.

Video Game Fables is a twist on your classic turn-based RPG with new fighting mechanics and an original story with a great sense of humour and non-typical heroes forced to save the day. There is a lot of grinding required but the system to level up your characters and weapons is interesting.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is a must-play title for retro game lovers or turtle fans. Having all these games from all the different consoles in one collection is amazing — so much easier than pulling out and hooking up all the systems!

Dusk Diver 2 is a stylish, well-thought-out, and addictive hack n’ slash game, and while budgetary constraints might’ve bogged it down in a few areas, you still shouldn’t pass it over.

Whilst the updated visuals and much improved control scheme are welcome touches, the cracks start to show quickly as it doesn’t do anything to improve on the PS2 original’s gameplay. However, this is still an easy one to recommend if you fancy something simple, but fun.

Rune Factory 5 is a technically perfect game that meets all of its goals. Unfortunately for the player, the goals met are either not very impressive or downright uncomfortable.

Story of a Gladiator offers tight combat mechanics and varied beat ‘em up gameplay, but difficulty spikes from level to level introduce a massive grind for upgrades.

Never boring, always charming; Lost in Play is an incredible entry to the point-and-click genre, reviving my love for it. Any fan of it definitely should pick it up!

A fantastic addition to the Saints Row catalogue, though it’s marred by a bunch of glitches and bugs that keep it just shy of excellence.

Taur is an excellent indie game that becomes a bit too grindy towards the end. The game has a unique spin on the tower defence formula and is fun once you get the hang of it.

Cleaning is so much fun when it isn't in real-life, you just wash away all these feelings and feel better when playing PowerWash Simulator. Thank you FuturLab for an amazing game.

Subnatica: Below Zero is an excellent survival game, being equally beautiful and terrifying. The narrative is strong but can feel out of place at times.

Cursed to Golf is a unique game that combines a platformer with golfing. With vibrant, retro-inspired visuals and a fun story, this game offers tons of replayability and challenge.

Fobia - St. Dinfna Hotel is a gorgeous game with awesome puzzles and a cinematic experience. It just won't be the game for you if combat is essential to you.

Avenging Spirit is a fun arcade game that has a unique mechanic that lets you possess a variety of characters and won’t eat all of your coins in the process! It’s incredibly short but was an enjoyable experience.

LOUD is a fun, cell-shaded rhythm game with a catchy instrumental-rock soundtrack that requires a fast reaction time to master! A bit short, but enjoyable the whole time.

With scenery straight out of a Norwegian travel postcard, Embracelet offers a peaceful coming-of-age tale that doesn’t get too complex and ultimately hits the mark.

Blossom Tales II: The Minotaur Prince has been inspired by A Link to the Past in all the right ways, combining great visuals, a charming story, adventure, and puzzles. This game is a must-play for me.

Fast-paced, challenging, and visually pleasing, Rollerdrome is a game that deserves all the praise heaped upon it. Strap on your skates and load up those pistols, it’s time to dive into this brilliant skater-shooter.

A satisfying soulslike action game that delivers quick and rewarding combat that is held back only by its attempts of trying a little too hard to be like other games. Though a relatively short experience, definitely one to try for any fans of the genre.

Jumanji: The Curse Returns isn't a broken game; it just felt overly repetitive, short, and not very fun. It's too bad that it didn't make the game require more strategy because it could have been much more intriguing.

There's something for everyone in Cult of the Lamb, and every mechanic and feature feels well thought out. The game is cute, funny, and fun. Everyone should try it!
