Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout bring plenty of changes to the series that make it an enjoyable experience for long time fans and newcomers alike.

With dark humour and comic violence, this is a game that will appeal to fans of puzzle platformers and schadenfreude alike. A great indie title that’s a worthy addition to anybody’s Steam library. Fantastic both in solo and co-op mode.

A great looking, challenging rogue-like game with a crazy heavy metal soundtrack to pump you up. Some people may be turned off because of the high difficulty, but if you keep with it, you will find your skill level will improve making the game easier.

There are issues with odd choices or explanation of game mechanics, but overall this is a great sequel to a cult classic. If you like the original then it’s highly likely you’ll be able to overlook the slight foibles like I did and have a great time with Evil Genius 2.

There’s a few hours to be whittled away in Drake Hollow. And can be a good blast with a friend or two, as it helps to mitigate the constant need to return to base, allowing for an explorer to do their thing, a builder to do theirs, and a battler their own. As mech games go, MechWarrior 5: Clans is an easy-to-recommend title full of action and drama. It may take itself too seriously, but this is still a brilliant sci-fi adventure.

UNYIELDER is an amazing spectacle. If you can keep up, you’ll find a lightning-fast roguelite where every fight might be your last.

Steel Century Groove has fun mech dance battles, but the story and non-battle sections leave a lot to be desired and feel fairly bland.

Overall, this DLC provides a relaxing and confusing experience for all players.

It’s anime based characters appearance, and the game’s overall look, are par for the course when it comes to games by Compile Heart and Idea Factory. Scratch the surface, however, and you’ll find a gem of a game that’s both enjoyable in terms of story and gameplay.

Though repetitive and a bit slow at times, I am enamoured by Tequila Works’ Song of Nunu and their capability to bring so much love and passion to an otherwise overlooked — and often underrated — champion from its source.

Despite its shortcomings in terms of repetition and difficulty, SAND LAND is a very enjoyable experience that’s perfect for the casual gamer, even if you’ve never heard of the manga before.

Jurassic World Evolution: Complete Edition may not be the prettiest game in the world on the Switch but the sheer amount of content and the overall enjoyment of it does make up for the visuals and even the performance.

Scintillatron 4096 offers so much more than its dated retro stylings initially suggest. What begins as a somewhat clunky, simple twin-stick shooter, quickly blossoms into a strategic, thoughtful and immensely addictive little gem of a videogame.

Dungeon Drafters is sure to appeal to fans of RPGs and deck-building card games. With a fun grid-type battle mechanic, tons of cards/spells to collect, and different classes to use, this game will keep you busy for a long time!
