Clustertruck is exactly what it’s aiming to be. It’s fun, fast, and fluid, letting you lose hours trying and trying to jump just right, to move just fast enough. The custom maps that the community has already made and sent out into the world are sure to provide plenty of replayability, complementing the great levels that come with the game.

Axiom Verge 2 is a 2D metroidvania game that focuses on exploration in its huge environment. If you played the first Axiom Verge game you may be disappointed in some of the changes like lack of weapons and less of a combat experience.

They Shall Not Pass is a good start to making that season pass feel like it was worth the money, though I doubt it will pull many people into buying the full game.

While Chaos;Child doesn't do much to innovate the genre at all, I can't deny that the story, sound and art are incredible. Although, the Delusion trigger system feels pointless and changes next to nothing. This doesn't damage the story or any other aspect of the game, but is disappointing. Any fans of the series or graphic novels will thoroughly enjoy this game.

If the worst thing you can say about a rougelite is that it kills you, then Noita can’t be that bad. I’m a big fan of this game and can’t wait to play some more.

Traveller’s Tales return to the LEGO fray is a double-edged sword of good intentions, and the over-complication of its famous brand of gameplay. At its best, The Skywalker Saga sees itself touching greatness it hasn’t seen since the seventh generation of gaming.

Frogun is a must-play for 3D platformer enthusiasts that love retro-inspired titles. As long as you come with tempered expectations and expect a collect-a-thon more than fast-paced platforming, you'll love it.

If you don't mind the relatively ugly graphics at times and are interested in trying out a boomer shooter that encourages a bit more strategy, then SPRAWL might just be the perfect title for you.

Party Animals is a great multiplayer title to play with friends that won’t get boring or super repetitive like other titles in the genre. With a huge variety of characters and maps to check out, this will keep you busy for a long time.

Stolen Realm is a fun RPG to play with friends and by yourself, especially if you don’t have the time or resources to set an entire campaign. Make sure you know what you’re doing and you’ll come out fine.

Contra: Operation Galuga is a worthy entry in the Contra series. The run-’n’-gun action is addictive; combined with great visuals and music, this is a game to check out and replay.

Whilst the story isn’t as strong as the previous title, the endearing, well-written characters and exciting battle systems make this a Trails game that’s well worth it for long-time fans of the franchise.

Slime Rancher 2 might be more of the same, but it’s still really good at the end of the day. With a new world, refinements to its design and mechanics, and tons of quality-of-life improvements, what else do you need in a sequel?

Copious amounts of story content occasionally broken up by challenging tactical combat will keep you entertained for hours. Masquerada is a beautiful game with fantastic well written characters and a plethora of story content. If you’re the type that likes to take their time and absorb themselves in the world then Masquerada: Songs and Shadows is the game for you.

Playing as the Kandarian Demon isn’t as fun as it should be and the single-player experience is somewhat lacking, but if you want to team up with three friends and show a bunch’a deadites just how deadly a prosthetic chainsaw can be, this is the game for you.

A fantastic roguelite with fast-paced action, light-hearted humour, and a great cast of characters. Though it may wear on you on a long play session, Wild Bastards has earned its place as Void Bastard’s successor.

A compelling game, being just short enough to not overstay it’s welcome.

Revenge of the Savage Planet is an excellent, goo-filled adventure with plenty to do on your journey from being a hapless fool to a genuine space hero.

Bombslinger is an updated take on a classic genre. The game's strengths come from the way it combines the arcade feel of its action with the brutal approach of the rogue-like genre. It's a simple game, but one that offers inventiveness and swathes of charm that should keep players sticking around for a long time after the credits roll.

Room to Grow stands apart from anything else available in the puzzle game market. It may not inspire a whole new era of puzzle gaming, but it does provide a novel and genuinely challenging experience.

There are some issues with the game, but they certainly don’t hamper the fun of smashing through the walls of Detroit.

Fury Unleashed is endlessly replayable and enormously satisfying with its appetising composition of big guns, big challenge, and even bigger rewards.

Whilst not an outstanding score, this game is still fun and I had a blast reviewing it. The pacing of the battles make it very accessible for the general player without much experience with strategy JRPGs. But with the mundanity of certain aspects of the game, pacing being off and with its current RSP. It’s hard to recommend unless on sale.

In an industry that likes to hold the player’s hand at every opportunity, telling them when and where to press certain buttons and use certain skills, a game not treating you like an idiot is a breath of fresh air. Some may want a little more from Circles, but the game has set out to accomplish a certain style and it does so with aplomb.

Risk System is a new take on a familiar genre, you are rewarded for being risky and taking chances. The game is challenging with boss battles that can feel unfair at times, making you want to give up.

Scene Investigators demands the attention of a real investigator, with the determination and knowledge to crack cases open. For the patient and studious, you’ll be greatly rewarded for your efforts.

Far Cry Primal is able to stand out from the pack, throwing in enough new and appealing additions along the way to warrant a full-game release.

A fun, if brief journey through an unsettling world, A Tale of Paper: Refolded takes inspiration from some of the genre’s best to create a title well worth playing.
