The targeted demographic often seems to become an excuse for developers to offer little content and oversimplified game mechanics, but any parent that wants to offer something their kids could enjoy on their brand new Wii U should think twice before investing in this title.- GameFocus

Night At the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian would have been easily recommendable if it were a downloadable game with a decent pricetag. As it stands, it’s merely a solid rental unless you’re an absolute fanatic for all things Ben Stiller.- GameFocus

Only those who have a taste for the seventh art will get a real kick out of it and also, overlook some of the issues that prevents it from being the most amazing thing to happen to the Kinect platform since its launch last November.- GameFocus

Had this game been released back in 2007 or 2008, when the PS Eye first came out, then we could be more forgiving; at the tail-end of 2010 and what we know can be done with both the PS Move and Kinect, this is a game that will quickly be forgotten.- GameFocus

While the cute visuals and great soundtrack are a compliment to the game, there isn't quite enough to save this from being anything more than a middle-of-the-pack game that you might pick up on a rainy day.- GameFocus

The nostalgic scenes from the show are nice, but if the gameplay doesn't support it, only the most die-hard of fans will be able to come back for a second helping.- GameFocus

Gameloft once again had an opportunity to set the bar for what to expect from a genre game on the Vita, and once again they've set such a low standard it's not going to take long for another title to surpass it.- GameFocus

Top Gun ends up being fair to middling; and is certainly a long way from being the best flight-combat game out there. Although, you could do worse.- GameFocus

Hack n' Slash games are abundant and I wouldn't have any problems with Knights Contract if Game Republic took the time to design something clever and entertaining.- GameFocus

Unless you are a die-hard fan of the kind of braindead sophmoric television that MTV is so focused on these days, there's little here to make the investment worthwhile.- GameFocus

Even though Asphalt: Injection is one of the few racing games available for the Vita, it's tough to recommend it. If you absolutely need a portable racing fix, Injection isn't a bad option. There's plenty to do in the game, it's just that much of what there is to do is extremely boring.- GameFocus

Lucha Libre AAA: Heroes Del Ring is a poor attempt at introducing this branch of the sport to the masses and should be avoided at all costs.- GameFocus

Goofy, fun and sometimes ridiculous, Just Dance is a great little game that stops short of being fantastic because of a lack of gameplay options and janky motion-sensing. It’s just not precise enough to appeal to a really competitive gamer, but then again, that’s not audience they’re going for.- GameFocus

I'm not saying Madden's first outing on the spanking new 3DS platform doesn't deserve any attention but for a first shot, it's certainly a disappointment. Rushed? It sure has all symptoms.- GameFocus

Judgment is by no means terrible, just mediocre. It’s as if someone was reading "Making Fighting Games for Dummies", and literally followed the instructions step by step, without thinking about ways to make it something more. Considering the history of the series, there’s so much that could have been done, and just wasn’t.- GameFocus

Should you spend $60 on it? No. To spend that much money on a game, whether it's a notable franchise or not, it needs to convey the "must have, must play, must keep, must replay" feel, which this bad boy doesn't have. Duke Nukem Forever is a solid rental. Maybe even a purchase once it drops to $30 or $20. Whatever suits you best.- GameFocus

Despite its challenging and addictive gameplay, this offering is simply too thin to deserve a rock solid recommendation unless the other 3DS titles aren't what you're looking for.- GameFocus

Throughout the time I spent with Lux-Pain, there was an underlying feeling that the game would have been better off as an anime series. There is loads of text to read and characters to meet, but the time you spend actually playing is relatively small.- GameFocus

Considering Stormrise was created by The Creative Assembly who has crafted some of the best strategy titles in the history of strategy games; this game is an incredible and ultimate disappointment in almost every single way. At best it is a rental for those who are interested in console RTS games and for the rest of the gamers in the land, the game is just something to stay away from.- GameFocus

Were it not for the utter lack of care that went into fixing the numerous issues here, Brave: A Warrior’s Tale would be easy to recommend for the younger set that have yet to discover Mario or Zelda. As it stands, this is a decent game that seems like the developers gave up on before it was officially completed.- GameFocus

This game would have fared better on the PSP, or DS for a portable solution at the doctor’s office (which I genuinely do hope they consider this). Even a version on the Wii or PC would have been preferable, it doesn’t seem to match the PSN setting.- GameFocus

When I first heard of Legendary I was honestly very excited for the concept of shooting mythological creatures and monsters with guns because it is a rare concept. The final product has me on the fence with is it a worth while game to recommend for first person shooter nuts like me, or to leave it be and forget you ever saw it. As a person who enjoys Clive Barker’s Jericho for its unique first person shooter story and gameplay mechanics I would say this is an easy rental.- GameFocus
