On Nintendo Switch, Dungeon of the Endless is still an excellent and cruel mix of Rouge-like, Tower Defense, RPG and strategy. Port is good, even if it stumbles occasionally when there are too many enemies on screen, and it plays well, may you progress with a pad configuration and/or touch screen. It always has something to bring you down, but is charming and deep enough to urge you to go for another try and be more thoughtful. And lucky. Brilliant.- Gameblog.fr

PONG Quest seems a first like a nice mix between the old-school Pong matches and the rogue-lite/dungeon crawler genres. But thanks to generic and random dungeons, too much randomness and a useless length, the old fans of old might not see the end of its five stages, and mandatory grinding. Too bad, because some fights were worth the trip.- Gameblog.fr

This third installment of the series, Munch's Oddysee is a flawed yet enjoyable game for its first entry in 3D. However, this port of the 2011's remaster still has some issues, such as remaining bugs and inadequate button assignments.- Gameblog.fr

One year after its mobile release, Reed 2 lands on consoles, and ports its fifty tiny levels of simple yet demanding platformer mechanics to new players. With its charming ambience and beautiful pixel art style, the game suffers from tiny imprecisions, but will still give a nice appetizer to never-asking fans of the genre, despite its brevity.- Gameblog.fr

Someday You'll Return looked promising and starts quite well. But quickly, due to some weird choices in terms of interactions, awful acting and a lot of bugs, it just turns into a disappointing and frustrating experience to which you'll never want to return.- Gameblog.fr

Piczle Cross Adventure is a nice mix between adventure and puzzles, filled with a funny story and many secrets to uncover. But even with its 300+ Picross, the settings still lack of most traditional and obvious options. Still, fans of the genre should definitely have a look.- Gameblog.fr

Cloupunk is visually stunning and has a interesting cast, telling us some good stories. It has some issues, though, when it comes to interactions and exploration. But if you're into Cyberpunk genre, you will probably find exactly what you wanted.- Gameblog.fr

Twenty five years after the last episode, Streets of Rage sure is back. Filled with love for the series, Streets of Rage 4 is a dense and rich experience, thanks to more complex mechanics, lots of beautiful levels, and so many game modes to play it again and again. Too bad the promised soundtrack does not reach the same heights, and that we will have to wait for a correct online experience.- Gameblog.fr

Daymare: 1998 is an ambitious game, but this homage can hardly please fans of the genre. Yet, its mundane scenario and old-school gameplay stand alongside clever puzzles and some true survival horror sensations. At a reduced price, its weaknesses might wear off a bit.- Gameblog.fr

With such ironic tone, an easy to pick up, co-op approach, and elaborate furnishings designs, Moving Out was supposed to go smoothly. But like it often happens through these kinds of enterprises, SMG Studio's work proves neither as fun nor friendly as expected, because of tedious, if not hazardous collaborative mechanics sometimes, and a too rigid physics engine overall, despite generous difficulty settings.- Gameblog.fr

SEGA clearly didn't want to go all out with Sakura Wars. And it's a shame as the game will probably be most of Western gamers' first introduction to the series. The game has an interesting main story, fun main characters and and its steampunk backgrounds are beautiful. But the dating sim parts are a chore, there aren't enough action scenes and the game as a whole looks like a PS3 game. As things stand, Sakura Wars is probably destined to stay a niche franchise in the West. And that's too bad.- Gameblog.fr

Gears Tactics is a nice surprise. If you like the XCOM genre, there's a lot of fun waiting for you. It's beautiful, epic and clever in its gameplay mechanics. And you don't need be familiar with the Gears saga to appreciate it. But if you are, it's definitely a treat.- Gameblog.fr

Picross S4 is one of the best things to happen during the lockdown. With 482 (485 if you have saves from the previous iterations) puzzles, there's plenty to eat and a lot of adorable Pixel Art to discover, especially with those HUGE Extra puzzles. It still feels like Jupiter could be more generous with non classic Picross grids and that some changes could be made, in particular concerning touchsceen controls and multiplayer. But, it's fine.- Gameblog.fr

MotoGP 20 evolves little, but evolves well compared to its previous version. It gains a better team management, both cosmetic and mechanical damage as well as improved management of the motorcycle during the race. It is therefore a little deeper and more interesting. For the next version, in addition to an essential update, we are asking for paddocks that really live and enough to satisfy the thirst for knowledge of motorcycle enthusiasts.- Gameblog.fr

Twenty five years after its original Japanese release, Trials of Mana stays true to its 16 bit roots, and this 3D remake offers a classic adventure with a strong pace, but filled with rough fights and round-trips all along. With the lack of a local or online co-op mode, you will have to go through the multiple crossed scenarios and quite a few bonuses all alone. The magical spirit of the series is clearly there, but the game still should have deserved a stronger emphasis on its technical side.- Gameblog.fr

The Flower Collectors has a very interesting concept, that feels exciting. But it feels so rough, with some outdated animations and bland models, not to mention gameplay sequences that fail to transmit the intentions, that it mostly feels like a big disappointment from Mi'pu'mi after the surprising The Lion's Song.- Gameblog.fr

Paladin Studios highlights that work can be a comical and exhilarating experience - even more through collaboration - with such cleverly used tools to manage somehow complicated, if not explosive situations. Despite the deliberate lack of character, it's indeed a Good Job!- Gameblog.fr

Final Fantasy VII Remake is a deep, dense and strong invitation to rediscover an all-time classic, thanks to a new three dimensional approach of the vast city of Midgar. The game fills up so many gap, deepens the plot, and sometimes takes way too much time to take us from point A to point B. But thanks to a strong and evolving combat system, new looks of iconic characters and a brilliant work of reorchestration of Uemtasu's score. If only it could have gone just a little further.- Gameblog.fr

Initially meant to be released in 2011, Disaster Report 4 was not worth the wait. The Switch version of the game is a complete mess (old-timey textures, frequent FPS drops...) and the experience is not very captivating overall, gameplay-wise. The only appeal of the game is in its atmosphere, paradoxically slow-moving and contemplative.- Gameblog.fr

Paper Beast is a separate work in the PlayStation VR catalog. Its strange universe and its endearing beasts are its strengths, as is the beauty of certain panoramas, especially those at night, which undeniably allow the player to escape. Special mention to the sequence of the oil spill which seems to arise from a temporal fault ... The game mechanics partly recall a previous game by Eric Chahi, From Dust , but what a pity that only the travel by teleportation is proposed. Paper Beast is a good game, but with free movement it would be much better.- Gameblog.fr

The Complex can be enjoyed as a decent B movie, with its poorly written plot and cheap visual effects. The actors do their job though and there is real replay value, since the choices made through the game have real consequences on the conclusion, with nine different endings to achieve.- Gameblog.fr

Resident Evil 3 is a good game that doesn't manage to reach the heights that Resident Evil 2 did. Nemesis has a great new look but he doesn't instill fear like Mr. X did last year. The game is also quite short. Resident Evil Resistance has an interesting concept but suffers from balancing and technical issues.- Gameblog.fr

Half-Life: Alyx is truly the new standard bearer for virtual reality. This is a major, not to say revolutionary, title, as was Half-Life and Half-Life 2 in their time. For more than 10 hours of play, we live the horrifying, supernatural and science fiction adventures of Alyx, as if we were there. A Masterpiece!- Gameblog.fr
