Namco has a knack for adding stuff to its franchises without changing their core appeal, and TTT2 is no exception. With a massive roaster, deeper gameplay thanks to the tag mechanics, and an impressive content, it's probably the best Tekken to date... even though the overall visual taste and quirky humor are starting to feel kind of old.

After being successful on Kickstarter four years ago and later on its Early Access, the first title of Sadsquare Studio really reaches our expectations. Filled with great gameplay ideas, the game always tries to find new ways to send shivers down the spine of the player. We're not so sure about the handling of the inventory but despite that, Visage prooves that it only takes some interesting concepts and a genuine passion for the genre to make great horror games.

A fantastic way to (re)start Pokémon, and a glorious conclusion for Junichi Masuda as director.

Unbelievable but true, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 succeeds where the license has failed for years: it has managed to create a surprise and renew its formula, finally! It is an excellent episode, one of the best in the series and by far. Its campaign will remain in your head for a long time because it is generous, well-crafted and above all incredibly surprising. Very diverse, it even offers a host of things never before attempted in the license, and above all it succeeds in everything it undertakes. Gripping from start to finish, it also allows you to get your hands on another element that has had a fresh look: the gameplay. The omnimovement, repeatedly praised by the studio, is a pretty incredible new feature that really changes the way you approach the game. Add to that an extremely solid multiplayer, also very generous with lots of game modes and well-designed maps, not to mention the Zombies mode which makes a welcome return to its roots by marrying certain new features over the episodes, and you get one of the best FPS of recent years. Yes, the Call of Duty franchise is an unmissable annual event for many fans, but this COD Black Ops 6 really is a must-have for all fans of good FPS now.

Dark Souls III The ringed City is a very good conclusion to the saga, with great level design, a lot of exploration, good new enemies, and a lot of "You are Dead".

Some touchy turbulence overshadow this ideal picture, when ThatGameCompany ventures across down to earth themes, or tends to lose its lantern among the mist created by this ever-evolving universe. Its humble existential, altruistic message stays nonetheless limpid, the economic model expressing rare generosity, like an open hand.

This journey back to the roots of Professor Layton is as much a way of discovering his past as it is one to draft a first sum-up of the series before it moves to the 3DS pastures for a new trilogy. Confident about its formula, Level-5 offers treasures of riddles throughout an adventure that focuses on characters rather than on the plot, as enticing as it may prove to be. So, even though the formula doesn't really evolve, it still concludes this run with subtle touches here and there to improve the lot.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is finally playable on PC and this in good conditions even on small configurations thanks to the addition of awesome technologies like Nvidia DLSS/AMD SFR. A good opportunity to discover two good games in the best possible version.

By exploiting the autostereocopic display cleverly, HAL Laboratory added depth in many ways to this cloudy world.

Stellar Blade is a very good and generous action game. Short of being transcendent and going all the way, this PS5 exclusive makes a point of succeeding in everything it touches, ticking all the boxes of the perfect AAA. Dynamic, demanding combat, exploration, a bit of open-world action and top-notch graphics - it's all there. On the other hand, like its heroine, the game is superficial. It over-sexualizes its central character without ever taking care of her or exploiting her full potential, and it always wisely stays within the box, never taking any risks. Too bad, because Stellar Blade has a lot to offer. If it proves a success, we'll no doubt be seeing more of Eve in the near future.

Having the Mario and Rabbids universes meet in a Tactical RPG might seem like a risky bet. But it works. Mario + Raving Rabbids Kingdom Battle is both a convincing crossover and a convincing Tactical RPG that fits perfectly on the Switch. And the local coop mode is just the icing on the cake.

Bowser's Minions were not the reinforcements expected for Mario & Luigi, but such pugnacious tactical digression strengthens the hilarious narrative as well as the whole adventure, while the astonishing amount of content and gameplay improvements make this completely overhauled Superstar Saga even more shining.

A really tense episode with good character development, some disturbing choices to make, some great fan service and a terrific finish.

A few months after its console release, the PC port of Death Stranding offers a little extra soul to a very special game. Thanks to consistent graphics parameters, a wide-screen mode or clever keyboard and mouse controls, the game surely rewards all the most patient players. However, those who already reached the West Coast on PS4 can easily skip the Half-Life bonuses, as they truly exist as another gadget in a very long game.

The Sims 3 : Ambitions clearly peers at the Adventure genre, in an apparent attempt at pepping up its gameplay. A new direction that we already felt with World Adventures, the first expansion pack. As it was the case with this previous one, it's the opening of a new side of the title that makes this expansion interesting. The impact those new experiences have in the long run on the personal stories of the avatars help forgetting the immediacy they may seem to have at first glance. For the first time, our Sims live real and distinctive lives and their interactions have influence over their neighbors' lives.

Battlefield 1 is gorgeous and impressive in all domains, and for once in the series, the single-player campaign lives up to the multiplayer mode. Beyond some bugs and minor issues, the main problem here is the inexplicable absence of the French and Russian armies.

Tokyo Jungle is a weird game, but one that shows enthusiasm and passion. Its survival gameplay and scoring mechanics work well in solo play, the two player mode is less convincing. The loads of species to play introduce a very nice variety to explore.

Just like the weather, Rain arouses different feelings. Some people may consider it as a melancholic, familiar phenomenon, while other might see it as a purely magical moment. Because at the end of the road, it's just a question of interpretation, like art.

It took patience to enjoy StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void, but we can say that Blizzard reconfirms that the RTS is its chosen field. The campaign is good and if you're not a PvP fan, the addition of a co-op mode is a good alternative. Regarding the online multiplayer, Blizzard brings many changes that will undoubtedly bring new strategies.

Earth Defense Force 5 is the best episode of the franchise. The game is always very fun, with a lot of monsters and spaceships to destroy, alone or with friends. There is a lot of content, and despite graphics that feels old, and a lot of repetition, it's still a very good and satisfying game.

Sometimes, Resonance is confusing because its system is somewhat unclear. It requires time, a cold head, and a good awareness of clues in order to solve the puzzles. But you're then rewarded with a really good story and lovable characters. A very nice point & click, both funny, mature, and poignant.

As we expected, PES 2015 is back in the game. This first edition on PS4 and Xbox One (even if this version is visually a bit disappointing) will please all of those who were missing the unique feeling from the series. Beautiful and incredibly enjoyable when you get to improve your skills and understand how it works.

With Party Wave, you're in for a good time. Its accessible yet deep gameplay will challenge you more than the vast majority of iOS titles, without being frustrating.

The Sexy Brutale is a very nice and original adventure game, that makes good use of a time loop in its core gameplay.

The Dark Pictures: Little Hope is the most successful Supermassive studio's Game. The themes and the cast are more interesting than usual, and the moment with Little Hope is pretty pleasant.

With a hunting ground expanded in every possible way, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is a wilder journey than ever, although some primal - if not archaic - instincts must still be tamed to enjoy such a deep experience. A real challenge for newcomers, but that's natural selection.

My Friend Pedro is an enchanting action game, that lets you kill dozens and dozens of henchmen with a lot of style, and a huge smile on your face. That's all we asked for, and we surely would have loved some more, but it's totally fine like this - except if you like interesting stories that make sense, which is not the case here.
