The addition of the creation center has put FIFA 11 Soccer in a class by itself, straddling the fine line between reality and gaming amazingly well.

Despite the game's inherent charm, the Wii port does a lot to drag this game down to Davy Jones' locker.

Even for hardcore Civilization IV players, the game is different enough to warrant a purchase for anyone looking for something new. Civilization V took a whole lot of risks, and nearly all of them paid off.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is easily one of my top 5 games of 2010…so far. The level of energy and excitement and the wonder of what could possible come next kept me playing for hours on end.

EA's NHL 11 Hockey celebrates it's 20th year as a franchise by giving us a near perfect sports game. Its only downsides are minor framerate issues and the lack of a "team builder" module.

Overall, I was impressed with the quality of UFC Undisputed 2010 on the PSP.

Ace Combat: Joint Assault is a fun ride and it was great to finally play a classic Ace Combat game, even if it wasn't totally next-gen.

This might not be the best game of the year, but it is certainly the best and most immersive interactive cinematic experience this reviewer has had in 25 years of gaming.

Mafia II is a fulfilling mob tale, and you will want to play it to the end. Just don't say I didn't warn you about the finale.

Bottom line; you won't find a better game on the Xbox Live Arcade this summer (perhaps ever) and you won't find a bigger bang for your $15.

I can sum up Top Gun with a single word. "Embarrassing". "Unnecessary" also works. We don't need this game.

Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is a superior sequel; a game that I enjoyed much more than the original, both in story and presentation style, and thankfully they worked in the online co-op.

In the end Ys Seven is a surprisingly good Japanese RPG. If you like JRPG's, then this one will not disappoint. If you don't like JRPG's, then this one will probably surprise you.

Obviously, if you own any of the similar titles mentioned earlier in the review you can pretty much pass this one up, as there is really nothing here that you have not seen. Then again, if you are one of the few newbies to the match-3 gameplay, or better yet a true fiend of the games who just can't get enough – well, 7 Wonders II certainly delivers the exciting gameplay that comes from this genre, and the price is right.

In many ways this could be the most robust Madden ever made. Despite it's graphical shortcomings, if you liked previous year's Madden game, this might be the year to take a break from the whole concert scene.

If you don't like classic beat 'em ups, I tentatively recommend this game with the qualifier that you need a few friends to play with. If you do enjoy classic beat 'em ups -- then why are you still sitting here reading this?

Overall I enjoyed the game along with the other people I played it with. The song list is good for the most part and it's easy to pop the game in, get to the song wheel, and start singing.

Alter Ego would make a nice starter adventure title for someone new to the genre but for someone seeking a challenge it wouldn't be my first choice. It's definitely worth a play though.

After my experience with StarCraft II over the last week or so, I can easily say that the sequel was worth the wait. There is more than enough enjoyment to be had on the multiplayer and the potential long-term single player and mod scene.

Limbo is by far the best Xbox Live Arcade title since last year's highly-lauded Braid, and one of the best Xbox 360 titles ever released, period.

For a game that began life as a gritty and realistic gladiatorial combat game, I was sad to discover that the process of watering down the content to a more family-friendly level has also diluted the entertainment potential of this title, especially since so many fighting games do wonders with a Teen rating and similarly outrageous characters.
