Obviously, this is a game targeted to a specific audience, and while non-Transformers fans will find a few moments of fun, I can really only recommend this game to diehard fans or perhaps new converts after this summer’s movie. With some serious control issues, casual gamers may lose their momentum before the story and gameplay can capture their interest.

But even so, there is a solid core gaming premise here and one that I hope is polished and refined in a future sequel. Until that day, your military service might better be served in any of the other battlefield-style games.

Shrek SuperSlam is a quality fighting game, combing raucous arena style battles with a party game atmosphere, not to mention the high-spirited cast of characters from the hit films.

For a game priced at the low price of $9.99 I can't say I was expecting much but I was proven wrong by the Nemesys developers and their addicting game. A simple idea of land grab coupled with the upbeat music had me on the edge of my seat during some close calls with a cannonball just missing me as I reached my goal and captured the land.

Though it has its frustrating moments, Nancy Drew: Legend of the Crystal Skull is generally an enjoyable adventure game, as well as a more satisfying title than the three games before it.

Though it’s really short, while it lasts, Women’s Murder Club: Death in Scarlet is certainly enjoyable enough for its genre.

The sloppy controls that hurt nearly every fast paced action game on the iPhone are present here, and the slowdown that occurs can really hinder the experience. When the game works though, it is an intense and rewarding zombie shooter.

At $20, The Kore Gang is a zany tale with an equally outlandish cast that I can easily recommend for a bit of family enjoyment.

WWE '12 looks great, sounds great, and even comes with top-shelf presentation, and if it were not for the brutally difficult reversal system, the single-button system might not seem so bad – but the two together make for a game that is frustrating as heck and without any real reward.

In the end, this is just another Guitar Hero game with a little more specific focus. That’s all there is to it.

Revenge of the Sith may not go down as an all-time classic, but the innovative gameplay, excellent sound effects, and smooth graphics make it an enjoyable video game foray into the world of Star Wars.

If you're looking for more of what Dragon Age II had to offer, or you just like Felicia Day, Mark of the Assassin is a pretty decent buy. It'll only last you about three hours, but compared to the average movie ticket, it's not an awful deal. I can't recommend it without reservation, but at the very least, I can assure you I had a better time than I did in Legacy.

Overall, WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2009 is a remarkable title for the PSP. While it might not win over the traditional fighting game fans with its slow paced action, the game features solid gameplay and impressive production values that would make most PSP owners proud – even if they know noting about wrestling.

If you are a parent of a child who is infatuated with High School Musical or any of the other Disney acts, and you really want to be on your kid’s (or kids’) favorites list – then wrap up Disney’s Sing It and pop it under the tree (or the appropriate holiday gift place).

The game mechanics haven’t changed from the previous game, but the added Bake mode and all the added upgrades make this title even better than the original game.

Something of a bizarre mash-up between a classic 2D platformer and a coloring book, it may not be perfect, but it’s a fun and innovative title that makes great use of the DS’s unique capabilities and that will hopefully grow into a continuing franchise that builds on this strong start.

The story does a good job of keeping the enjoyment of the game alive. Yes, you might put the game back on your shelf once you beat it, seeing as how the mini games don't offer you much.

Alas, I came to terms with the fact that if anyone wants to get the full enjoyment from this game, you have to be online at all times. There just isn't anything about the offline single player that makes you want to repeat doing the same old missions over and over again. The most enjoyable times are going to be during conquest mode taking out team territories and progressing through the story with friends at your side. You'll have bad times and good times all while enjoying the company of those that see you as a comrade in arms and a fellow gamer

Still, the game is a load of fun and arguably the best professional wrestling game to come out in many years. I know that wrestling purists would say that the arcade style slam-and-jam nature of All Stars is not an accurate representation of their beloved sport - but put the controller in their hands for ten minutes, and even the hardest of the diehards will be won over.

All said, I still favor the formula of the original Red Faction over the more recent releases – but there is no denying that there is immense enjoyment to be had in in destruction, and Volition has never disappointed in this aspect. Armageddon may lack the storyline components of the prior releases, but it more than makes up for it in terms of overall action and gameplay ingenuity – and while I may never be able to recapture the experience of the original Red Faction, I can see many more hours of magnet gun follies in my future.

A lot like a mediocre sci-fi novel. It has a great atmosphere, some fascinating and innovative tech stuff but flat characters and a mundane storyline that ultimately kill its potential.

Unlike World of Warcraft, the majority of a characters statistics are determined by his or her level, rather than equipment, which should be attractive to casual gamers.
