Best of all, there is a surprisingly large number of people playing this game online, especially compared to other racing games like "Midnight Club II."

Dating is another significant aspect of play added to The Sims 2, and it certainly throws in an element of challenge and intrigue to the base game.

For me, Arcade Hits was a great trip down memory lane. Sadly, younger gamers probably won’t want to deal with the primitive graphics and sound, or even worse, fighting dad for their turn on the DS.

This is a comic lovers dream come true; the perfect marriage of comics and video games, and with so many comic-inspired games already out and more on the way, I can say without reservation that Ultimate Spider-Man will rule them all with ultimate gameplay and ultimate style.

All told, Space Marine is a very well-made game, and perhaps the first that truly lives up to THQ's promise of blockbuster-quality cinematic games.

Suikoden V is damn good. The story is one of the very best in all of gaming, even surpassing some of the previous Suikoden titles in its intricacy and brilliance with its complex, realistic characters and motives, and a plot that draws you in like a good book.

Easily one of the best XBLA games out there. Sure, it doesn’t have the staying power as the totally addictive (and online) UNO, or the intensity of mind-blowing visual shooters like Mutant Storm or Geometry Wars, but this is a great effort that uses a totally new 3D engine to create a unique world, creative and challenging puzzles, exciting boss fights, and a hero for a new generation.

Despite the graphical flaws, poor mission design, and lack of a compelling story I still have to admit I had "fun" playing this game, actually more fun than I did on the PC.

These are first-rate emulations of all the original games, perfect recreations that will put a smile on your face and provide countless hours of gaming enjoyment.

To go along with all those retro graphics is one awesome soundtrack ripped right from the days of Japanese-inspired coin-ops.

A fun diversion for those looking for one. The graphics and gameplay, especially the cool powers and abilities sported by Rayne make it an above average action title.

The possession mechanic is hands-down (no pun intended) one of the coolest things I have ever seen in a game, and never before has farting in a crowd been so helpful. But make no mistake – Stubbs the Zombie is no Psychonauts.

There is no denying that EA has made good on the Godfather license and created an inspired game that should give the boys at Rockstar a few good ideas for their next GTA.

With its immense array of story, online, arcade, and mapmaking modes, few can compete. Still, if you are looking for a killer FPS for the PS2, look no further than Area 51. It’s a real treat.

Angry Mob has created one of the best dual-stick shooters for the iPhone and I can only hope they make a sequel and its bigger and better than this. But until then Guerrilla Bob is a fantastic shooter with solid controls and loads of fun.

The small personal touches that abound throughout the game are evident of quality production values, and these shine through in both the game’s outstanding interface and its spot-on motif.

It's like the developers read my review and fixed everything I complained about in the first game.

The improved defense, especially at the net, the new momentum feature, manual goalie option, and the long-overdue icon passing interface all combine to make this game the closest thing to the actual sport of hockey without putting on all the padding and a pair of skates.

Nanostray 2 has shattered my ego and destroyed my confidence as a gamer, at least on the DS and in this genre. The staggering difficulty and blazing visuals may overwhelm the casual gamer, but anyone who takes the time to master the frantic gameplay model and memorize every level and every enemy wave and boss pattern will find a deep, strategic, and somewhat oppressive shooter.

A great game that will likely appeal to action gamers more than role-players.

Worms offers almost limitless level designs, great multiplayer action for 4 people online and off and a basic but vital ingredient for any game – fun!

Best of all, Second Sight tells an excellent story and does so with a presentation that borders on interactive cinema.

I had to race Revo in small doses. I could only play for a limited time every time I picked up the controller. I would get the sensation to throw my controller at my PS3 after about two hours of racing, so I would stop and pick it back up later.

You can expect 20-25 hours of gameplay from Legacy of Goku II. It’s all standard adventure gaming stuff with a dash of RPG thrown in to spice things up.

Unfortunately with multiple lawsuits, dropping sales and lackluster support, I have to wonder how much longer EA will make NCAA Basketball. Enjoy it while you can.

Deception still seems to be Mortal Kombat's crowning achievement for now. While Armageddon is a solid game, and it did get a lot right, it also got a significant amount wrong.

The racing and the physics are always right on the money and with Carbon we get everything we know and love about Need for Speed – another solid and enjoyable racer.
