With ample structured gameplay and the endless sandbox mode, there is limitless gameplay potential here, so if you enjoy this type of city-building and resource management game then it doesn't get any better than Virtual City HD.- Game Chronicles

By far the best movie-licensed game to ever be made. Not only does it outshine all other movie-inspired titles, it even surpasses the movie that inspired it. It’s a totally immersive experience with the no-HUD interface, amazing sounds, inspiring music, and a visionary artistic style that is totally unique to the genre.- Game Chronicles

Spellforce 2: Shadow Wars combines the best features of the fantasy RPG and RTS worlds, from strong character development, to massive, resource driven battles-all strewn across gorgeous landscapes. Throw in a wealth of online options-most notably cooperative play-and you have sleeper hit in the making.- Game Chronicles

While other titles may have a larger variety of chess boards to chose from, Fritz 8 offers some brain-twisting game play even on the lowest settings. There is also a strong online community who swear by this title, which is something not every chess title can offer.- Game Chronicles

Test Drive Unlimited was a bold experiment in seamlessly blending the solo and online racing experience and it worked great on the 360 and PC, and to some degree you get a small taste of this on the PSP, but I wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone looking for the next big thing in PSP online gaming.- Game Chronicles

EA has officially regained the top spot in the console soccer wars with FIFA '06. Winning Eleven will still be the choice for the unyielding hardcore "footballers" in Europe, but for the best overall appeal to gamers of every interest and skill level, it's hard to top FIFA 06.- Game Chronicles

Climax has taken an already near-perfect racer and polished it to a level of realism I didn’t expect this early in the 360 lifespan.- Game Chronicles

With a solid action core, innovative puzzles, teamwork concepts, and the clever integration of the endearing LEGO franchise, this would be a great game even without the Star Wars license.- Game Chronicles

With 60 levels and the likely possibility of more on the way, plus the obsessive quest for three stars on every level, expect to spend a couple of weeks tending to your droopy flowers with this highly entertaining and addictive new game.- Game Chronicles

First, this demo has as much, if not more content than a lot of other racing games out there, and second, a lot of the profits from this “demo” will certainly be rolled over into the final game, making it even better than ever.- Game Chronicles

It doesn't look nearly as good as it's next generation brothers, but other than the visuals, very little has been lost in the translation to the Wii.- Game Chronicles

Battlefield 2142 is more of a mod of the very well made Battlefield 2, but still a must for online gamers.- Game Chronicles

I look forward to playing this game long after this review is on the shelf, and I look forward to future patches and additions to this game, as well as future installments from Wargaming.net. They're working on similar style games called World of Battleships and World of Warplanes. These games will be a part of a trilogy that will use your common account and, as I understand it, your earnings will be transferable between them as well. So, expect to see a couple more reviews in the not-too-distant future.- Game Chronicles

With a comprehensive RPG structure, exciting action elements, and an engrossing story rich with gothic flavor, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines is one of the best PC games of 2004. You're going to love the original characters and the quality dialogue and how it all comes together in one of the best narratives of our time.- Game Chronicles

For those looking to relive your favorite battles from the Star Wars universe, this is the single-best compilation of battle scenarios going. What it lacks in presentation it makes up for in intense gameplay with plenty of authentic Star Wars flavor.- Game Chronicles

If you're still playing Dawn of War II, or if you're a fan of the Imperial Guard, Retribution is practically a no-brainer. If you're a fan of Warhammer 40,000 or the real-time strategy genre, now's a great time to get started, since Retribution is a standalone game with access to everything from the first two Dawn of War II games, save for their campaigns. Either way, it's a return for one of real time strategy's great names, and certainly worth your time and dollar if you've got any interest in following more of the story of Subsector Aurelia.- Game Chronicles

There are plenty of ways to solve each challenging level and just as many ways to fail, but the fun is all in the trying, figuring out just how to get the spirits to their destination with minimal casualties. It truly is one of the more addicting games I have stumbled upon this year, and I highly encourage anyone who enjoys puzzles and Zen-like experiences to take part in this hypnotic game.- Game Chronicles

Call of Duty 3 is easily the best in the series (or at least a tie with "COD2") but the PS3 conversion just doesn’t do it justice. If this is the only next-gen system you have then you should go ahead and play it, but if you own a 360 you’ll have a much better experience, both solo and online.- Game Chronicles

The best compliment I can give Jazz: Trump's Journey is that this could easily be a $15 game on XBLA or PSN, and I honestly hope it makes it into those consoles because this is a game that needs to be seen and played by those who might not have an iPad. But until then, those of you with one should already be playing what has become my all-time favorite iPad game.- Game Chronicles
