The missions feel boring and repetitive after a while, and the combat is a mess. While the story is solid, and the overall presentation of the game is pretty good, the floundering gameplay manages to sink the entire fleet.- G4 TV

Its fundamental flaws and dearth of good music makes this also-ran even more pointless.- G4 TV

The loading times are annoying, there’s a ridiculous maze of menus to wade through to get to the races, and, when you do hit the road, the controls are poor and the racing system is just bizarre.- G4 TV

Strictly for Barbie collectors or fans of the show who have no understanding of what makes a good videogame, American Idol is a cheap rip-off of other, much better games, and an overall unimpressive attempt to cash in on a popular TV phenomenon.- G4 TV

All of these clichéd mission objectives wouldn't be so bad if the play mechanics were compelling. Instead, you just bolt around trying to shoot at enemies with weapons that are entirely too lame.- G4 TV

Despite selling for a steal, Space Raiders barely justifies the price of admission. Hard-core audiences will scoff at the game's wasted potential.- G4 TV

If you’re not a fan of the original, or indeed, haven’t played the original, you’ll be completely lost. And even if you are into this series, any complaints you had about the last game have not been addressed in this sequel.- G4 TV

Squarely intent on holding the middle ground in every sense of the phrase, this isn't a terrible game, but it isn't especially good, either.- G4 TV

This is a simply another lame attempt to attract young fans and unknowing parents to buy something based on the license. Rise of the Silver Surfer has all the gameplay value of a bad Streets of Rage clone.- G4 TV

The game tells its story horribly, your character is both improbable and without any personality, the AI is terrible, the gameplay lackluster, and graphics middling. Even as a budget title, which Turning Point is certainly doomed to become, the game is hardly worth the bother.- G4 TV

The gameplay isn’t remotely interesting or entertaining and neither is the subject matter. It’s crass and juvenile, but not in a good way. There’s no way to rehabilitate this piece of garbage.- G4 TV

Woefully inadequate. Cleavers and cleavage, sadly, aren't enough.- G4 TV

Battleship is little more than a checkmark on a to-do list; a completed contractual obligation. Just a handful of red pegs on a board, signifying a failed effort.- G4 TV

The one shining moment through all this is the decent online multiplayer mode included. It’s pretty vanilla, but it runs great. Plus it’s possible to turn into a nightwalker should you be a bit too slow on the draw. It’s a very cool feature.- G4 TV

The real problem is the bland graphics, micromanagement, and repetitive gameplay. Good RTS games know that and tend to create missions you can complete in a variety of ways. Not so here.- G4 TV

Aiming to be the first Kinect game for the hardcore audience, Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor fails miserably at the most fundamental necessity: motion controls that actually work. The story lacks any substance and can't make up for this horrid attempt at creating a follow-up to one of the most-revered mech-shooter series to date.- G4 TV

Someday, the Wii may host its own quality 3D fighter. If it does, though, it’ll be something like Super Smash Brothers Brawl – something built from the ground up for this console. Otherwise, maybe you just can’t teach a new dog old tricks.- G4 TV

The game creators obviously didn't consult Palahniuk. Maybe he would've sat them down, and explained the yet-released ninth rule: Don't make a crap fighting game and call it Fight Club.- G4 TV

An ill-conceived mess. The board game is lifeless. The mini-games barely qualify as games. This is easily one of the worst titles for the Nintendo Wii.- G4 TV
