Doom 3: BFG Edition is, without a doubt, the definitive collection for fans of this series. The package brings together virtually every Doom offering that has ever existed, with additions like the "duct tape" mod and The Lost Missions amounting to delicious gravy.

The game’s casual, do-what-you-want approach makes it a safe bet for anyone who’s looking for a few hours of rude racing fun.

It's not innovative or great in any regard, but it does provide plenty of explosions and challenge. It's also far and away the only decent game to yet come from the franchise.

Nothing but the sum of its parts -- a mediocre action game painted up with some licensed characters and a recognizable name on the box. Fans of the property deserve better.

Yet, gameplay is still the biggest flaw, with inconsistent AI (the computer never runs and doesn’t manage the clock effectively in the second half) and electric football-style physics.

A reasonably engaging, yet perfectly average experience--much like most summer blockbusters.

It’s never going to be the next Madden in terms of sales or simulation, but what Tecmo Bowl Kickoff does offer is fast, fun football action on the go and you owe it to yourself to pick it up, especially if you grew up with the series and want to bring a little nostalgia back into your life.

The game is definitely over-priced. With that said, this is still one of the most engaging new multiplayer-only games out there.

The "outlaw" elements in Outlaw Tennis are devoid of entertainment value. They aren't even integrated into the game all that well.

The storyline and voice acting are the high points, but it's a real shame that all the Evil Dead games have simply focused on mindless combat instead of more substantial adventuring.

Rumble Roses will probably go over very well at fraternity houses, bachelor parties, and the bedrooms of sexually frustrated teenage boys everywhere. It's too bad that there's a pretty good game underneath all the fluff here.

Without a sound tactical game, Desperados 2 is only fun so long as you enjoy trying to guess what the hell the developers were thinking.

A solid, fun addition to the extreme water sports genre. Borrowing liberally from "SSX's" winning bag of tricks, the game proves entertaining, if not innovative.

Doesn't have nearly enough in the core gameplay to recommend to the average gamer.

The concept behind the battle system is solid but dragging it through uninspired dungeons and a tired story can make putting in that second disk a chore.

From the thin level design to the promising but ultimately limited combo system, Sidetracked seems more like a proof of concept than a final product. It does break out into some very cool moves once in a while, but most of them can be had for free, simply by tuning into "Adult Swim."

A fairly simple game that offers little challenge once you understand the basics. Yet it’s still charming in its own right.

For most players Operation Surma will feel like a stopgap measure until Sam Fisher returns for the next "Splinter Cell," despite its great gadgets and fairly solid play. It's just too reliant on this recently popular template, making every weak spot seem glaringly obvious.

The four-player online play in S.L.A.I. works just fine, but it doesn't make up for the fact that the single-player game wears thin within an hour.

This is the eighth Yu-Gi-Oh GBA release in a little over two years. Not much has changed, and not much will. If you're not already firmly on this bandwagon, turn around and walk away.

Fans of classic sprite design will love some of the graphics, and there's at least 25 hours of gameplay here for those who dig into it.

A good platformer buoyed by some interesting gameplay concepts and hindered by certain design flaws.
