Automachef is about managing resources and handling several objectives at the same time. For players who can take on such an exercise and who enjoy this kind of challenge, Automachef will be very welcome experience whereas for players looking for a simpler experience this will be an excessively complicated effort.

Amnesia: Collection consists of three of the most remarkable horror games that the industry has seen. While each game in this collection should be seen on its own, this is a very welcome addition to the Nintendo Switch catalogue and even if the first game has some performance issues, fans of horror adventures and anyone looking for a seriously chilling experience will have an unforgettable time with Amnesia: Collection.

Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns may not be the most conventional RPG ever made and its obvious elements drawn from simpler, more direct experiences may raise eyebrows among more veteran players but there's a lot to enjoy here, mainly when it comes to its addictive, fast-paced gameplay, soundtrack and wealth of over two hundred missions in a surprising pack that will appeal to a wider audience than RPG fans.

Embodying everything that made the Dragon Quest series grand and implementing the newest developments in the RPG genre, this expanded version of Dragon Quest's eleventh title is a major contribution for the Nintendo Switch catalogue as it delivers an instant classic with an exquisite adventure, well developed gameplay mechanics and an overall rich experience. Part of the restricted elite of Nintendo Switch games.

It doesn't have the ambition of going beyond the nostalgia target-group, however, and it could certainly use some more work when it comes to level design and to its lacklustre soundtrack but for those looking just for a revival of an early 90s platform shooter, Rad Rodgers gets the job done.

Pillars of Eternity does not rewrite the foundations of the RPG genre but it stands out as an amazing tribute to the classics and with its experience in exploring a wide, vast world and centrality of the player's actions in the top-quality plot the result it a game that never runs out of steam. On top of that, the combat system adds to the game's depth and help make Pillars of Eternity an absolutely unmissable work that nobody should ignore.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy brings the first three games of the Spyro series in a lovely triple remake that brings their audiovisual component to our day and age while respecting the original contents and keeping most of the experience intact in an effort that will appeal to both newcomers and those looking to revive the days of this platform classic.

LEGO Jurassic World brings what is expected from the LEGO series to the world of Jurassic Park in an effort that features plenty of humor, amusing moments and a co-op mode that proves just right for a fun two-player experience. Even if there are no significant new elements in this work, LEGO Jurassic World certainly does a good job at providing an enjoyable experience like other LEGO games have done.

7 Billion Humans brings a fun and very addictive concept to the Nintendo Switch under the guise of a game that runs the risk of looking dull at first but which will quickly reward its players with a varied, engaging experience. With a control system that favours the handheld experience over a screen interface and with a gameplay designed for one player only, 7 Billion Humans has more than enough to make up for these flaws with its amusing qualities.

This remake of Link's Awakening is by most ways the ultimate version of the Zelda classic. With additional content, a much-improved item assignment system and consequent gameplay improvements, a new difficulty level and a marvelous visual style, the new Link's Awakening is a joy to play and the experience would be even better if the new Chamber Dungeon component offered more options.

Bulletstorm: Duke for Switch Edition follows in the steps of the remastered version of Bulletstorm and brings to the Nintendo Switch a visceral and fun FPS, with an inventive system and very competent visuals. On the downside, a multiplayer component is clearly missed and it could do much more for this edition of Bulletstorm but that doesn't make this game less worthy of a chance.

River City Girls is a beat'em-up that brings back many elements of its predecessors, as well as new and varied characteristics that spice up the combat system. River City Girls also features a marvelously funny plot, characters that easily stand out and wonderful animations, which all make their contribution towards this being a game that even players who don't usually pay attention to beat'em-ups will enjoy.

With its fun gameplay mechanics and marvelous art style, Creature in the Well's qualities far outweigh its sense of repetitiveness and absence of a more pronounced audio component. A very original and welcome addition to the Nintendo Switch catalogue that everyone should try.

Clannad on the Nintendo Switch is nothing short of a masterpiece, a wonderfully crafted adaptation that delivers dozens of unforgettable story lines with a gameplay that suits it just perfectly and even gets a unique control style to be played on a Switch. Thanks to its unmatched experience that can make the player feel hopelessly sad and joyful in the same game session, Clannad is worthy of every moment of attention it gets and even more through the seventy or more hours that it can pack.

Turok 2: Seeds of Evil returns, two decades after the original release, in what is an overall improved experience that leaves behind hardware limits but respects the original's elements and design. Investing in new controls is also something to praise but it's impossible not to notice that the game's concept feels outdated and that beyond the public of the original, it might be difficult to convince anyone else to put their hands on this version.

Daemon X Machina is an edgy and well designed work that puts the player at the centre of a detailed experience, where mission planning, strategy and customization make a major contribution towards building this into more than a mere action game. If the plot is not its greatest asset, the overall experience is fun and involving and anyone who enjoys action with strategic planning will find a very satisfying time around Daemon X Machina.

Forager brings forth a good open-world simulation game that successfully transmits to the player a rewarding feeling of growth and involvement, along with simple and fun mechanics. Watching the growth from a simple plot of land to a large empire is very satisfactory, even if the game's performance seems to deteriorate as the player's fiefdom expands.

Mighty Switch Force! Collection brings the four games of the Mighty Switch Force to the Switch in a collection that is more than worthy of praise and which will appeal to both long-time fans and newcomers alike. With the added feature of a multiplayer component within the first incursion of Mighty Switch Force Academy in a Nintendo system, this collection deserves to be regarded as a definitive effort.

Thanks to its quick gameplay mechanics and variety of goals, it will easily get the player into trying again and again in order to reach a higher score. It doesn't stand too well on a long term basis or on a more in-depth experience, however, as this is a game that mostly appeals when played in quick experiences.

The game is less kind with newcomers and beginners, as it has very little in terms of tutorials and assistance for those less familiar with snooker but despite its somewhat robotic animations and limited career mode, Snooker 19 fills a gap in the Nintendo Switch catalogue.

Warlocks 2: God Slayers starts off with good intentions and it features interesting, funny dialogues as well as an appealing visual environment and fluid animation. Sadly this is not enough to redeem it from its flaws and shortcomings, the most major of which a control system which quickly becomes cumbersome even for the simplest actions and which is unchangeable, as well as several gameplay problems that end up harming this game more than it would be acceptable.

If the game does a very good job at satisfying the cravings for a short, immediate and fun experience, its occasional control flaws and unpleasant-sounding music could have received more attention. None of that, though, is an impediment for a game that does its job right when it comes to fulfilling its mission.

Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa brings some recognizable elements to this visual novel and its visual presentation and interesting characters will prove to be appealing points. The same thing can't be said, however, for its overly simplistic puzzles, repetitive soundtrack and especially, its plot gaps, which stand in the way of forming a meaningful, coherent story.

Streets of Rogue is a fun and action packed game that gives the player a major amount of freedom to choose the style of play, an absurdly high amount of playable characters and some guaranteed multiplayer fun. If roguelike fans will definitely enjoy this work, there is no reason why anyone else who likes action experiences that don't take long to carry out should pass on this opportunity.

The Last Remnant Remastered does a decent job at treating a JRPG from over ten years ago to the contemporary age. If its combat system remains one of the game's biggest selling points, the dearth of life throughout the game's world is one of the negative inheritances of The Last Remnant's original time. That said, this remaster is something that deserves attention, especially from fans of JRPGs.

Cybarian: The Time Travelling Warrior may be another game that rides the retro revival wave but while there is nothing unusual about this, its premise and plot are full of absurdist and oddball elements. If the audiovisual environments and boss fights are quite enjoyable in Cybarian, there are points which could have benefited from extra work, such as the combo system and the placement of checkpoints throughout the levels.

Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power has headed into a 3D direction and while the audiovisual qualities of the series remain top notch, the new world in which the game is set does not feel entirely right and the experience ends up getting harmed as a consequence. There is no doubt that the series' co-op component is still one of its main assets but bringing Trine 3 into a 3D world raises questions that don't always get the best answers.

Hue may appear pretty much drab and dull at first but nobody should be deceived by its grey tones, this game features a very original concept and a panoply of challenging puzzles as the player's progression brings it into a visually richer and richer territory, not to mention its marvelous soundtrack. While rather short, Hue is perfectly able to provide an artistic experience for those who pick it up and who will absolutely not regret any time invested in this work.
