State of Mind has a rather peculiar look but its plot stands out as its greatest asset, as well as the availability of multiple characters for the players to control. On the other hand, despite the quality of the plot, it's also rather slow-paced and takes its time to grow, which will most likely put off the less patient players and the events are rather predictable for those who know the sci-fi genre.- FNintendo

Figment is an adventure game that proposes something unusual but not any less topical and relevant: how to deal with depression. With that in mind, the game presents a series of very attractive-looking hand-drawn sets that come to life during the game and a dynamic soundtrack that follows the players during the puzzle-solving duties. While the game's combats feel too simple and the puzzles are somewhat repetitive, this is without a doubt a very good approach to a complex theme and which will appeal to fans of adventure and puzzle games alike.- FNintendo

Code of Princess EX is back in what promises to be an ultimate version. The result falls behind the promise, due to its graphics that are not up to the original game's quality, but Code Princess EX does have some assets of its own, including the plot's humour, which is not to be taken too seriously, and the wide variety of movements and characters to choose from, which will satisfy the players' curiosity.- FNintendo

Okami HD brings back a classic from the previous decade on a remastered version that fits perfectly with the Nintendo Switch. Thanks to its absolutely marvelous visuals, gameplay mechanics and gaming environment, Okami HD is without a doubt something that most Switch players will enjoy and which could have gone even further if its mechanics were used to the full of their potential and the minigames were more enjoyable.- FNintendo

The concept of making the player perform the most basic everyday acts may seem burdensome at first but it's quick to get used to. Alas, the game disappoints when it comes to its short lifespan and high price tag for what it provides, as well to the rather uninteresting minigames included.- FNintendo

Freedom Planet brings back the spirit of 16-bit era platformers and similarities with Sonic the Hedgehog jump out immediately, as much as its own merits - Freedom Planet is no copy and it can stand on its own after all, thanks to its immense content, marvelous presentation and a familiar but nevertheless fun gameplay.- FNintendo

The game could be more enjoyable if it did not force the player to so much repetition of the levels, exposing its rather short lifespan, and if the controls did not feel too heavy at times, as it often leaves the feeling that the actions on the screen do not match the player's request.- FNintendo

Dead Cells is one of the most interesting indie games ever made. Even though some of its roguelike elements may not have worked out for the best, this is a well executed game with one of the most fun combat systems of the year, thanks to its involving gameplay cycle and to a very fun and fluid combat system.- FNintendo

Heroki is not the most innovative game ever made but that does not stand on its way from being a fun and entertaining 2D platform experience. While it still keeps many of the traits of a mobile game, Hiroki's accessible and simple control system, as well as its level design and collectibles that keep the player interested will help make this another enjoyable experience in the Nintendo Switch.- FNintendo

Original in its mechanics and fostering creative solutions when it comes to puzzle solving, Waking Violet also features an original visual artwork and design. A game that puzzle fans are certain to enjoy, Waking Violet is a very welcome addition to the ever growing Nintendo Switch library.- FNintendo

While the most up-to-date relevant, for example, fun to use, including the amount of time the player spends in records. If only other features were more differed in this game and allowed for greater interactivity and Super Destronaut DX would be a more interesting game.- FNintendo

It doesn't fully capitalize on these factors, however, as the game's theme gets repetitive too quickly, the feeling of speed is absent and loading times are way too long, which coupled with a rather mediocre soundtrack, means that this All-Star Fruit Racing does not reach the same threshold as the biggest name in kart racing games.- FNintendo

Hexologic has a simple job and it does it effectively enough. This puzzle game picks up the concept behind Sudoku and advances it to a more fun and compelling level, helping to build a fun and accessible game while not taking its premise too far. It could be longer, as it feels too short at some moments but it's undeniable that fans of puzzle games will have a very fun time thanks to Hexologic.- FNintendo

Donkey Kong Adventure is a very welcome expansion to the Mario + Rabbids universe and even if it is not the most ambitious expansion of all time, what it adds to the main game in terms of three marvelous characters and the variety of enemies and goals that come along with them is more than enough to make any fans of the original game fully satisfied with this additional element.- FNintendo

Thanks to its randomly generated dungeons, the game features a long lifespan, reinforced by its simplicity and ease to pick up and play. Where the game feels like a letdown is on its lacklustre sound environment, as well as on its excessively long loading times and hastily made multiplayer mode.- FNintendo

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 brings the remaining four games of the Mega Man X series under one collection and the new game modes and extras are sure to please the fans of the series. However it's also wroth mentioning that the latter four titles carrying the Mega Man X name also mark the series' quality descent and that this collection only allows one save option per game.- FNintendo

Bringing Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker to the 3DS in 2018 might seem strange at first but after a few minutes this will immediately appear as a good decision. Featuring a marvelous 3D effect and an experience that does not fall short of that of it its Wii U and Switch counterparts, this 3DS version of Treasure Tracker only makes concessions on the visual performance and replaces a number of levels with others but that is in no way an obstacle towards making this a marvelous piece of gaming.- FNintendo

A cooperative online multiplayer is always good, as is the improved art style. The game could be better, though, if its difficulty and challenge level had not been toned down so much and if some of its new features had a more positive impact on the experience but overall, those who did not play the original will find good reasons to have fun with Overcooked! 2.- FNintendo

Yesterday Origins has the rather unusual task of bringing a point and click adventure game to the Nintendo Switch eShop...and it works, as this is a fully enjoyable game that features a short but interesting plot, with some very good dialogue lines, a well adapted control scheme and a top notch audiovisual environment. The game may not be up everyone's alley, as its slow pace may put some players off but this is a successful and interesting game of an unusual genre in consoles that is well worth of the players' attention.- FNintendo

Devious Dungeon features a fairly interesting progression system, along with a healthy variety of enemies for the roguelike game that it is. Alas, it fails to deliver on the rest and the result is a game that is way too simple and unambitious for its own good, without any factors that redeem it from an overall repetitive and uninteresting experience.- FNintendo

Flashback brings back one of the 1990s 16-bit classics in a perfect nostalgia exercise that also includes some interesting new elements. Its gameplay remains as demanding as it was, which will delight Flashback's fans and possibly frustrate more recent players who are not used to this kind of old school difficulty.- FNintendo

Go Vacation tries to be a fun summer game and it certainly has some elements going for it, such as the exploration possibilities and the multiplayer options. It's also impossible for the game to hide its origins in a previous generation and after a while it becomes apparent that Go Vacation puts quantity above quality, as the experience will soon enough become less compelling than players might think.- FNintendo

Hollow Knight is a game everyone should play. It's not just a new pillar of the Metroidvaina genre, but on the industry as a whole. It is the best example of why the indie scene is so great and important. Experiences as special as this one are very rare. Hollow Knight is one of the best executed games in recent years.- FNintendo

This rhythm game with an emotive plot features a marvelous soundtrack, as it should for a rhythm game, and a gameplay that includes several good ideas, as well as some flaws which along with the game's exaggerated price and its clear origins of a game made for mobile devices and which have not been properly improved make this a game that falls short of its real potential.- FNintendo

Runbow is back to a Nintendo console and this edition for the Nintendo Switch brings a series of welcome elements, such as a simple but addictive gameplay, additional downloadable content, plenty of characters from the indie games world and online capabilities.
