    The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a monument of a game, a dense, rich, enveloping and challenging adventure that puts the players on the mercy of their wits from the very beginning and introduces survival variables and item management as something to take very seriously throughout the entire quest. Bringing much needed innovations while remaining fully loyal to the Zelda series, Breath of the Wild is a masterpiece and a dream come true that has undoubtedly earned its place among the greatest games ever made.

    Super Mario Odyssey takes everything that made its predecessors masterpieces of gaming and blends them together into an unforgettable, new and unique experience that packs an absurd amount of content and which will keep players clinging on to it for many, many wonderful hours to come. An absolute monument of a game that gets everything right and which comes down to not only one of the greatest games of this generation but one of the greatest games of all time.

    How could the Zelda series evolve and reinvent itself to reclaim its spot among the greatest games in the world? According to the Breath of the Wild book, by rewiring its main conventions and tapping them into the freedom template provided by the saga's very first chapter, adding to them the visual marvels that contemporary technology can achieve, the vastest space for exploration that has ever been created for a Zelda game and a perfect learning cycle that provides Link with an explosive potential for development.

    Divinity: Original Sin II is one of the best games available on the Nintendo Switch and a heaven-sent for RPG fans.     Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the premiere of the series on the Nintendo Switch and it makes the player feel right at home, whether newcomers or the more experienced ones. With an array of new elements and mechanics but keeping its formula well anchored in the series' conventions, New Horizons will delight its players thanks to a marvelous game environment and world development, and its hefty rewards, packing enough content to leave everyone growing attached and enveloped by its experience.

    Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition, a title as long and exaggerated as the fun and entertainment this game provides.     Majora's Mask 3D is all that a remake of the original could ask for. Not only does Nintendo deliver the original's immersive plot, extremely challenging temples, multiple side-quests and the overall gloom and sorrow that surrounds the adventure, it still finds space for improvements, even at a handheld level. Let the inexperienced be warned, though: this will not go easy on the newly-arrived.

    3D Streets of Rage 2 is the best conversion that could be made of Sega’s classic beat’em up. Everything that was good about the original was enhanced for the sequel and this new version for the 3DS eShop is nothing short of a near-perfect conversion of the beloved and iconic early 90s game.

    Fire Emblem: Three Houses arrived on the Nintendo Switch with the mission to become the ultimate experience of that name and while it may not outshine all its predecessors in every single aspect, Three Houses boasts the best world, plot and gameplay of the entire series. If some of its moments may seem too repetitive, the game's marvelous writing and plot development will help consolidate this as an indispensable game for any Fire Emblem fan or for any tactical RPGs fan, for that matter.

    Okami HD brings back a classic from the previous decade on a remastered version that fits perfectly with the Nintendo Switch. Thanks to its absolutely marvelous visuals, gameplay mechanics and gaming environment, Okami HD is without a doubt something that most Switch players will enjoy and which could have gone even further if its mechanics were used to the full of their potential and the minigames were more enjoyable.

    Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation, the final chapter in Fire Emblem's new trilogy closes the history of this new opus and provides a very sharp gameplay with a marvelous visual environment. Players who are looking forward to a rich and well-crafted plot, though, might find themselves disappointed, as Revelation rather stands out in the gameplay front and its new scenarios end up falling behind expectations.
