Miitopia puts the player at the centre of a plot with plenty of possibilities to shape and mold according to each one's will and this is certainly one of the game's biggest assets. The characters' mechanics are also very well executed and will keep the player's interest sharp, even if it could do better at keeping the player's role more active throughout the game.- FNintendo

Hey! PIKMIN is not an exact conversion of Pikmin to the 3DS but there's nothing wrong with that. Quite the contrary, as this sidescrolling adventure with its own characteristics turns out to be a solid tribute to the main series with its fun and involving adventure and the always heartwarming sense of humour and delightful Pikmin creatures.- FNintendo

Flip Wars is fun enough to ensure some well spent sessions of local multiplayer, with some of its influences becoming visible in a very positive light. Unfortunately it also feels unfinished to a certain degree and the disappointment left in its online multiplayer ends up harming one of the game's potentially greatest assets.- FNintendo

Death Squared is an intense and action-packed puzzle game designed for one to four players where mayhem and fun go hand in hand. Focusing on what the game is all about, Death Squared will satisfy anyone looking for an experience that is simple to pick up, whether solo or accompanied, even if it offers a lot more value on multiplayer.- FNintendo

It doesn't excel, though, on its unbalanced difficulty level and overall feeling of repetitiveness, which will not help it to stand apart from other puzzle games on the Wii U.- FNintendo

Splatoon 2 takes what made the original such a remarkable game and improves it in nearly every way: the campaign mode is better, so is the audiovisual environment, the gameplay does not lose a single trace of appeal and the local multiplayer works wonders. While the online multiplayer experience could be better and the campaign's ending feels a bit disappointing, Splatoon 2 has earned its place in Nintendo's refreshing series.- FNintendo

Alchemic Dungeons is a roguelike game that uses an interesting and rewarding crafting mechanic towards developing the player's capacities. It could do better on the dungeon crawling front, as the experience can quickly get repetitive and frustrating whenever the player gets overwhelmed and killed.- FNintendo

Runbow Pocket for the New 3DS is certainly full of content and its levels are fun and compelling, like they were on the Wii U original. Where Runbow Pocket doesn't stand out is when it comes to comparing itself to the original game, as this handheld version doesn't offer any major incentives to the players and the lack of a local multiplayer mode is very difficult to understand.- FNintendo

Breath of the Wild's first expansion pass, known as The Master Trials, brings a very welcome addition to what is one of the most monumental games ever made. Raising the bar when it comes to the enemies' strength will force the players to plan their approaches in more strategic ways while the Trial of the Sword will push their endurance and tactical creativity to the maximum. Adding to this are Link's new outfits and something known as The Hero's Path, which will consolidate Breath of the Wild's magnificent experience and stir up new reasons to return to the game.- FNintendo

With a merciless difficulty level and an incredibly long lifespan, Cubit The Hardcore Platformer Robot HD is pretty much what its title describes. While not all players will feel at home in its demanding levels, those with enough energy and capacity to weather the storm will find this game's rewards to be plentiful and welcome, once the biggest challenges have been cleared.- FNintendo

Oceanhorn: Monster of the Uncharted Seas is an adventure game that knows what it wants and is not ashamed to go just for it. Clearly influenced by its mentors, Oceanhorn brings forth an accessible, simple and fluid plot which could work even better as a game, were it not for some frustrating gameplay mechanics at the protagonist's level.- FNintendo

A rhythm game requires intuitive controls and a good sense of progression and Thumper provides both. Players will have to pay close attention to their surroundings, especially to the sound, as their timing will have to be on the spot in order to advance and thanks to its gameplay mechanics, this is a game that easily seduces those who let themselves be wooed by catchy rhythms.- FNintendo

Ever Oasis may not live up to the most ambitious thresholds but that doesn't mean that it's not a fun game. Its amazing art design, feeling of progression and fun combat will easily make this a long-lasting and will mire players in its lore and details for a very long time. In the large and varied 3DS catalogue, this is yet another very welcome title.- FNintendo

Astro Duel Deluxe is a fun, retro inspired and pleasant looking space shooter that makes use of well developed local multiplayer modes, as well as catchy little details which make this a good element on the Nintendo Switch catalogue. It falls short in terms of content and if it had an online multiplayer mode it would certainly be much more appealing, as the one-player mode can feel like it ends too quickly.- FNintendo

Elliot Quest does not try to hide that it seeks its inspiration in 8-bit era games and it certainly succeeds at reenacting the spirit of those days, as well as coupling it to competent audiovisuals and a good lifespan. It doesn't do as good when it comes to its difficulty curve, which is way too steep for most players and it gameplay gets too complicated for its own good at some moments.- FNintendo

NBA Playgrounds fails to satisfy the aspirations of those looking for a fun arcade-style basketball game. While its local multiplayer is fun, the flaws and shortcomings of the single player mode and the (for the time being) lack of an online mode make the game's full potential extremely limited. There are too many obstacles and unexplainable problems standing in the way of making this an enjoyable effort.- FNintendo

ARMS is clearly something that stands out amidst Nintendo's recent works. With its very creative approach, it eschews most of the labels used to categorize games and proposes bouts of physical fighting coupled with other sports and actions thrown into the mix to make something that is without a doubt more than welcome in Nintendo's catalogue. Its wide and varied content, intuitive gameplay mechanics, quality online modes and all the additional content that will be released for it make ARMS an essential game in the universe of every Nintendo Switch player.- FNintendo

Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers keeps the classic gameplay that has become the hallmark of this timeless 2D fighting series and boasts a competent online component. Unfortunately, the lack of innovations, two additional modes that make no difference at all and a completely disproportionate price tag mean that it cannot be considered as the ultimate version of Street Fighter II.- FNintendo

Kamiko is an accessible and well-designed experience that will put its players frantically trying new tactics in order to finish the game as quickly as possible. This might not sound very groundbreaking but Kamiko certainly provides incentives to its players to try to complete it in a shorter time and its challenging nature means that those who pick it up will have something they can spend some fun hours with.- FNintendo

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia brings the series back to its origins in several ways. Featuring a very captivating plot and cast as well as some new and welcome gameplay elements, it leaves the feeling that this game is putting Fire Emblem back on its original course. Even if some of its missions might feel uninspired and the combat excessive at times, this is still a very good omen for upcoming Fire Emblem games.- FNintendo

As a sequel that doesn't take many risks, Urban Trial Freestyle 2 adds some welcome developments to the original game. The gameplay remains addictive and its plentiful content will keep players entertained while the new online functionalities certainly add to the game's appeal. However, amidst all the improvements, it should be pointed out that some of the original's flaws remain unaddressed.- FNintendo

Parascientific Escape - Gear Detective is a visual novel that offers a well written plot with interesting puzzles and characters and thanks to its price, it becomes a recommended experience not only for fans of its style but also for those who never played a visual novel before. While its audiovisual component could benefit from displaying higher production values, the overall gameplay and involvement with the plot make this a game that deserves its fair share of attention.- FNintendo

Human Resource Machine is an unusual specimen, a puzzle game more intricate than most puzzle games, with a very demanding level of difficulty and which requires a certain mindset to be enjoyed. That being said, its puzzles are very challenging and its control system works perfectly, whether on handheld mode or with the Nintendo Switch on its Dock. The assignments could be more varied but for those who enjoy tough and difficult tasks and who are not intimidated by mathematical elements, Human Resource Machine is a gem and the Nintendo Switch is getting its shiniest version.- FNintendo

World of Goo makes its arrival on the Nintendo Switch and almost ten years after its debut on the Wii, the game has not lost any of the quality that made it a reference for puzzle games. World of Goo's magnificent production values, where its rich visuals and remarkable soundtrack are key, its gameplay mechanics that follow the laws of physics and the amount of content make this a game that clearly stands out above its competitors, even in a segment as large as puzzle games made by indie developers.- FNintendo

There is nothing positive to highlight in Vroom in the night sky. Its gameplay mechanics are completely superficial and the game offers no depth of play, its audiovisual environments are outdated by three generations and the HD rumble function does more harm than good. Next to all those negative aspects, the very poor translations are nothing but a funny detail.- FNintendo

The greatest game in the Mario Kart series is back, now under the name of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in a Nintendo Switch version that improves the original on several levels. If its large amount of content was not enough, the return of the battle mode as it was before and all the visual improvements bring the game up to today's standards.- FNintendo

New Frontier Days brings a new genre into the Nintendo Switch and this conversion is promising in some aspects. The game boasts a very long lifespan and the controls are very competent and compelling. Unfortunately the game also stops short at fully captivating the player, as some actions become repetitive too quickly and some aspects of the game, such as its audiovisual component, deserve a better treatment.- FNintendo

Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D is an explosion of fun and humour, wrapped up in a package of marvelous visual environments, a long lifespan of play and an experience that just doesn't become dull or repetitive. Being full of content and thanks to its unpredictability, this game will keep players focused on it for a long time and being sold at a low price, there is no reason why any players looking for a good time should not dedicate themselves to this.- FNintendo
