It would have been a real achievement if Ruffian could have met or surpassed the expectations we had for Crackdown 2. Sadly they didn't, and it seems too many other games have beat Crackdown at its own game.

Omega Five is a fun diversion game that is over as quickly as it begins. It’s too bad Omega Five is a short game with only four levels because the graphics and game design is impressive.

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon is a must for all Fire Emblem collectors. Die-hard tactical fans might be a little bored with the old school nature of the game, and who can blame them.... given there are so many solid Fire Emblem games to pick from.

Conan the character is brutal, honest and straight to the point, and so is Nihilistic’s version of Conan the game. Even though there isn’t much past the combat, Conan is still a lot of fun if you’re into mythological lore, saving naked woman, and getting vicious in battle.

Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot is a worthwhile addition to Borderlands that will give you more reasons to keep your disc spinning. The action is fast, and the tournament style really takes to the creative gunplay in Borderlands.

The concept of bringing joy into a lifeless world not only shows in the gameworld, but in the real world as well, as you smile along with De Blob 2 and its colourizing antics.

The war torn adventure is epic and dramatic following the paths of three soldiers in WWII. Despite a few nitpicks that seem to come along with all first person shooters on the PSP, Roads to Victory holds up nice given the platform.

So Rise of the Argonauts isn’t the best action RPG on the market, but it’s no where near the worst. If you enjoyed God of War, or action role-playing games with a mythological twist then you should check out Rise of the Argonauts.

If you're a Castlevania maniac like me you're going to have an absolute blast playing this game, but my love for the series isn't enough to look past its many shortcomings. As a concept I think it works really well, it just wasn't executed in a way that will make the game accessible to newcomers to the series.
