McMillen and his team make another essential gameplay shine above all the rest. Disturbing, sadic and incredibly addictive.

PES 2012 is a true Evolution for this famous brand. Despite the horrible IA of the goalkeepers, Seabass delivers a distinctive soccer experience based more on a spectacular and more immediate -while less realistic- gameplay. A solid title for every soccer fan.

A strange sensorial experience: synaesthetic, charming, fascinating. More than a simple scrolling shooter, Child of Eden is the perfect mix of light and sound.

Star Fox 64 3D is the best version of the title we've seen on Nintendo 64. Its fast paced action and a perfectly balanced rhythm provide an experience which today is as good as it was years ago, not having suffered at all from the action of time. Extraordinary in its gameplay, the title still remains a masterpiece.

Driver: San Francisco fails in every aspects. Bad graphics and a terrible lack of variety sink its gameplay, making of it a title that can't be recommended.

PES 2012 is a step further into the soccer simulation but not so far away from last year. In particular poor animation and goalkeepers AI ruins the entire experience.

Despite being one of the best chapters of the series, this edition of Code Veronica has almost no improvements in visual aspect. Capcom delivers another bad remake for a high price.

Resident Evil 4 HD is not an HD remix, is a simple cut and paste of the PC version. For that price gamers deserve a lot more. Anyhow, the game stil rocks, but it is a little bit aged with some mechanics that, today, can be frustrating.

FIFA 12 is simply the best soccer simulation ever made. Tactical Defending, Precision Dribbling and Impact Engine works perfect together, offering a freedom never experimented before.

It is impossible to resist Trackmania 2. Simply put: Nadeo has developed one of the best PC games of recent years.

Rise of Nightmares is gross, linear, ugly. Kinect does a good job in recognising movements of the videoplayer, but the control scheme is simply ludicrous and not functional.

The brilliant rock-rolling simulator from ACE is an ironic blast and an artistic achievement of the indie scene. Despite its poor balancing and short campaign, rolling boulders to smash known historical characters is a ton of fun.

Edge is one of the best modern mobile games and was ported with the same passion on the PC. Simple and intuitive, it can challange both casual and hardcore players, for its depth, addictive gameplay and constant support by the developers.

Because of an imprecise control system and a level design absolutely anonymous, Bloodrayne: Betrayal is a videogame only recommended to fans of the franchise or gamers in withdrawal symptoms from action in 2D.

Serious Sam: Double D is an old school game that revives the genre of side-scrolling shooter. Mommy's Best Games is working hard, but the hilarious situations and the nice graphics are not enough for a game much too short and without any innovation.

Despite the plethora of bugs, Red Orchestra 2 delivers the best WW2 experience to date. Forget about the buggy and useless singleplayer and embrace the entangling realism of a real battlefield, like never before.

Gears of War 3 is the perfect conclusion of an incredible saga. The core mechanics are just the same, but Epic Games delivers a splendid lesson in game design, creating a brilliant campaign, varied and well-paced as few others. Plus, you can find an enormous amount of cooperative and competitive options out of the box.

Age of Empire Online is the good old strategic game we all remember, with its infamous flaws we all remember (AI and pathfinding) and the free-to-play business model that hinders the overall experience in favor of Microsoft's easy cash gains.

Despite a wonderful art design and graphics and sound at the state of art El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron is not the masterpiece we were looking for. The team lost the way, expanding the richness of visual style but forgetting about the real deal: gameplay.

Due to its extreme complexity, SpaceChem will never be a title for everyone. Too deep and articulate for casual players, it will be appreciated only by those who are willing to engage themselves with the deep game mechanics Nevertheless Spece chem is no doubt one of the most brilliant puzzle game in the history of videogames.

Resistance is a solid PS3 Exclusive. The plot is muddled and messy, but the old-school gameplay and the reintroduction of the weapon wheel save the day. The COD-Like multiplayer is, though derivative, rewarding and funny.
