Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is the latest installment in the franchise and brings updated graphics, two new game modes and new weapons to the venerable shooter. Its qualities are undeniable, but the question is if these are the qualities requested by the player base? With only primitive features to support the esport community, it's not hard to imagine that the game will get a lukewarm reception.- Eurogamer Sweden

Armored Kill is one of the best expansions I've ever played, for any game. It summarizes everything that makes Battlefield 3 such a unique and addictive experience and I would gladly recommend Armored Kill to everyone.- Eurogamer Sweden

If you want to make the perfect home for your hero, look elsewhere. Hearthfire provides a very limited and clumsy building system and the pointless possibility of adoption. However, if you just need a larger and better storage container for your loot it might just be worth the low price.- Eurogamer Sweden

Graffiti and inlines aren't as cool today as they were twelve years ago and sadly enough, the game mechanics and controls haven't aged very well. This is compensated for to some extent by the presentation and how Jet Set Radio HD becomes an interesting chronicle of a time long gone. It doesn't stand up to the games of today and new players might not enjoy it as much as the ones who played the original back in the days.- Eurogamer Sweden

The latest entry in Namco's Tales of-series to reach the Western markets feels suitably old-school. It's eerily reminiscent of the best JRPGs the PlayStation 2 had to offer, and delivers a nostalgic experience to when role-playing games were more than flashy graphics and interactive cut-scenes. With a high focus on quick, tactical combat, interesting characters and a well-told (but slightly predictable) story, Tales of Graces F is a solid experience. It's the game every PlayStation 3 owner was waiting for at the generational switch from PlayStation 2.- Eurogamer Sweden

I advise everyone to stay as far away from Lights, Camera, Party as possible, because it's definitely the worst game to be released this year so far, due to its horrible design, controls and much, much more.- Eurogamer Sweden

Why fix what's not broken? Darksiders II brings more of the same pick and mix magic that made Darksiders a sleeper hit. The addition of a WoW-based loot-system and more sidequests gives the illusion that it's not just an DLC-upgrade with a new skin. The game is a bit buggy and some puzzles feels a bit lazy, otherwise this is a sequel for everyone who loved the original.- Eurogamer Sweden

You can tell that the developers are fans of Transformers because the whole campaign is filled with love and respect for the source material. The lacking multiplayer prevents Fall of Cybertron from reaching the highest peaks, but it's still a really great game.- Eurogamer Sweden

Rigonauts has an interesting concept but never really manages to make a good game out of it. The lack of polish makes the game feel very unfinished and the cumbersome controls along with lack of information and unpredictable physics make the gameplay frustrating.- Eurogamer Sweden

Although the game has some really good training exercises with athletes like Kaká and Jessica Ennis as your personal trainer, it fails to be entertaining and encouraging me to keep sweating three days a week due to a lack of motion recognition with Kinect and some really weird pauses in the middle of the training. It simply feels like a mediocre training exercise DVD rather than a game.- Eurogamer Sweden

A great story and an entertaining game as long as I'm playing by myself. When the massive online part comes into play the experience starts to fall apart and the lack of tools to communicate with and a very poor player versus player component makes it hard to see anyone continue paying to play this for very long. It is different and interesting though, so giving it a try for the first free month included is still recommended.- Eurogamer Sweden

With a suitably complex and violent story, Sleeping Dogs is a competently told tale of revenge in a sandboxed approximation of Hong Kong. With gameplay mechanics more coherent and well-implemented than most other games in the sandbox crime-simulator genre, it delivers a solid experience. The story, acting and atmosphere really shine through, but even on purely technical terms the game manages to stand out.- Eurogamer Sweden

Mario will always be Mario, but the constant coin-chasing has ironically enough led to some inflation. It's a great game, but we won't remember it as one of those immortal Mario classics.- Eurogamer Sweden

Hybrid has a great idea that separates it from many similar games, and it's also presented quite well. The shooting itself is aided by the twist in the actual gameplay, but the lack of variation in the level design stops it from achieving greatness.- Eurogamer Sweden

Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends is two-sided coin. On one side we have an interesting journey through the history of Ferrari, with beautiful cars that feel unique and fun to drive. On the other side we have been extremely frustrating game that sometimes doesn't even make room for the smallest mistakes and offers circuits with graphics well below average.- Eurogamer Sweden

Doesn't quite live up to its own potential, and is ultimately bogged down by some poor gameplay decisions. It borrows and repurposes core gameplay ideas from previous games, adds a few new ideas into the mix – but the end result doesn't quite shine as brightly as it should. At worst, it feels like a hodge-podge of ill-suited ideas glued together in the most superficial ways. But the storyline delivers a good conclusion to the previous side tracks and builds up a lot of anticipation for the next main game.- Eurogamer Sweden

New Art Academy is a good tutorial for aspiring artists, or for portable drawing. With well-presented, educational tutorials, it's a good pick up that features a comprehensive journey through multiple disciplines and art styles, although with a very small screen.- Eurogamer Sweden

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy stands tall on the merits of the soundtrack – picking up solid tunes from the first 13 numbered games. Combining the best-of practices of other rhythm games and blending in some light roleplaying elements freshens up the mix. With a lesser game franchise behind it, or with less epic music, it would likely fall flat. With three varied playing styles, lots of incentives to perform better, makes this a hard game to put down. From the sheer nostalgic moments induced by the soundtrack, to the high-intensity tapping required to master the harder difficulties - this is a monumental experience.- Eurogamer Sweden

With only seven levels and a very thin soundtrack I am somewhat underwhelmed by the nostalgic remake that is Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD. The lack of local multiplayer and a faulty online experience make this a very average XBLA game with a lot of unused potential.- Eurogamer Sweden

Gods & Kings adds some fun and interesting things to the game, but leaves the core gameplay intact. While none of the additions tries to revolutionize the Civilization V formula, each of them still manages to improve it, which makes Gods & Kings a good catch for those already hooked on the basic game.- Eurogamer Sweden

Deadlight is probably the best downloadable title on the market right now, but that comparison does the game a disservice. Tequila Works have taken a step further to reduce the gap between retail games and downloadable titles and Deadlight will likely be the shining star of this year's Summer of Arcade.- Eurogamer Sweden

Sega Studios Australia has surprised me with the depth and quality of their official London 2012 game. They seem to have really put their hearts into making it a great sports game and not just some easily forgotten mishmash, and they have succeeded with their goal.- Eurogamer Sweden

Wreckateer brings comedy and controlled chaos to the destruction business. It will give you tired arms and sore shoulders, but it is worth it. As a downloadable title it is a pure steal and must be considered a required try (if not buy) for every Kinect-owner.- Eurogamer Sweden

Steel Battalion has some bold ideas that makes me imagine how the games in the future will implement Kinect into them. Unfortunately it's poorly executed, and despite great ambitions and some good parts, the brutal difficulty and the lack of precision (both controller and Kinect) makes this game so bad that it's going to be featured in articles about the worst game this year.- Eurogamer Sweden
