Games for children don't have to be ugly or boring, which is why Marvel Super Hero Squad - The Infinity Gauntlet feels like such a wasted opportunity. If you create a game according to the popular LEGO games you need to give it a lot of charm, which sadly hasn't been done here.

Quake Arena Arcade may be the best console version of the game out there, but it's doesn't live up to its free PC counterpart. And the PC version already has an active community. Fun for casual shooting, but not for the pros.

Battlefield Bad Company Vietnam breathes new life in a game that already felt alive. It delivers a very memorable gaming experience, and is well worth the money.

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn delivers many hours of fun for role playing game lovers out there, and both the main story and the sidequests get better as the game progresses. The story may be a little jumbled at times, but the combat mechanics more than make up for it.

ilomilo is extremely cute and charming, with excellent design and a well made co-op mode. It delivers plenty of fun hours of gaming. Even though the final chapter is a bit of a letdown.

Bulletstorm is a solid shooter that turns back the dial about 15 years - to a time when ultraviolence, arcadey gameplay and outrageous scenarios were the staples of a shooter. But it still manages to feel fresh and on par with the higher quality shooters we've seen emerge since 1995, and kicks it up with a brilliant scoring system that keeps the gameplay varied.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem delivers exactly what it should, and is yet another challenging puzzle games for the Nintendo DS. Fun and well made, but without much innovation.

DC Universe Online isn't necessarily a bad game. It's a decent MMO with a lot of potential, but our major concern is that it just doesn't have enough content to justify a monthly subscription.

Nail'd is a far too simple racing experience, and its 14 courses aren't enough for a racing game nowadays. Techland may have wanted to put the pedal to the metal, but this is more like the last nail in the coffin for their arcade racers.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is an entertaining and well-made fighting game. The excellent option settings and the great controls make up for the somewhat meager content. Many competitors have more modes, but few manage to maintain the same quality as this game.

The decision to release a remake of a mobile phone game instead of the original is baffling. Kingdom Hearts: Re:Coded is a fractured game, that neither appeals to hardcore Kingdom Hearts fans nor newcomers.

Spare Parts feels like a movie license game without a movie, and not even the interesting things - like co-op and Simon Pegg's voice - manage to brighten up this bland and uninspiring affair.

Mario Sports Mix contains an alright mix of party sports games, but I don't think players will leave their cart racing, bowling or olympics for long. Basketball is quite charming though, and is the best game of the bunch.

Far from a simulator, far from a thrilling action title, far from good looking and with a muliplayer without any longevity. Apache: Air Assault could have been a great title but fails to deliver on all accounts.

Namco Bandai may have the heart, but my brain gets bored quickly from this game. Too many insults and not enough constructive gameplay makes this more of a chore than an exciting exercise.

Ghost Trick consists of an impressively well written story told in an amazing way, combined with entertaining puzzles that will give your brain a workout. Even though it could be a tad more challenging and lacks the rewarding feeling you get when figuring something out in the Ace Attorney games, this is still an experience you don't want to miss.

Dead Space 2 starts off with a lot of similarities with the original, but soon finds its own identity and raises the bar for sequels everywhere. A very well-polished space adventure.

The PlayStation 3 version of Mass Effect 2 contains all the great adventues as its PC and Xbox 360 counterparts, together with all the extra DLC goodies. Newcomers to the series and PS3 owners can look forward to an excellent rpg with thrilling shooter elements.

Killzone 3 promises a lot, but manages to live up to almost most of them. The Move implementation is at the top of it's class, and the multiplayer experience is deep and rewarding. A triumph for the series and gaming technology as a whole.

Magicka is both unique and very funny, but it's sadly not really finished yet. Still, it's an enjoyable experience, especially in co-op, and the steady stream of patches is making it better with each fix.
