Pick up an arcade racing game and mix it with little bits of RPG and MMO. Blend them together and you'll have a juicy cocktail called Test Drive Unlimited 2.

A good and solid follow-up, Rearmed 2 adds the "new" ability of jumping and refreshes the swing mechanics of the original remake, but fails in the co-op mode and in other, little but annoying chunks of gameplay.

Magicka is a perfect palliative for those waiting for Diablo III; thanks to a shining gameplay and a genuine freedom, the last title from Arrowhead is as funny as only indie titles are. Magic.

Necromoprhs, alien monsters, blood and tons of corpse. Extraction is 100% Dead Space, with a deep gameplay, powerful plot and great graphics. A perfect porting, with a perfect control schema: probably, the best usage of PS Move seen so far.

Spare Parts has a good concept and a clumsy realization. The idea is nice but the big number of technical problems transform a potentially good experience in a missed opportunity.

It might be extremely derivative (N.O.V.A. totally looks and plays like H.A.L.O.), but this is a fun and rewarding First Person Shooter that's perfect if you fancy some pocket shooting.

A very nice racing game with perfect visuals and responsive controls. Maybe you will not play it for a long time and it's a shame that you can play only as a cop, but it's still funny and enjoyable, wih a lot of achivements, cars and races. If you are collecting the best titles on iPad, you can't miss it.

Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars is one of those immortal classics that everybody should play at least once in their life: if you hadn't the chance to live this amazing adventure don't skip this app.

Mario Sports Mix lacks the depth of other Mario's sport titles, but delivers a lot of fun especially in multiplayer. Basketball and Hockey will gives you plenty of replay value, while Dodgeball and Volley need a good amount of patience, especially in single-player.

The latest Yuji Naka's creation is a cute action-platform that, for a very reasonably price, delivers a charming (but a little bit short) experience.

Not just a copy of the console game, but a real story that will tell us what happened before the events narrated in Dead Space 2. This iOS dedicated version of the latest Visceral Games creation captures very well the atmosphere and the gameplay of the saga. Maybe it's a little more action than survival horror and sometimes is too repetitive, but in the end it's a solid game that will not disappoint Dead Space's fans.

Considering the quality/price ratio of some of the real masterpieces available on the App Store, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 will truly satisfy only real fans of the franchise, leaving the rest somewhat disappointed.

Infinity Blade is a brand new game with an old style mechanic. Repetition is its core, as you try, death after death, generation after generation, to kill a God King and his bruisers. With never seen before visuals for a portable device, very intuitive controls and an affordable price, if you have an iPhone or and Ipad you must buy this game.

Even if the graphic engine has not been revamped, this second chapter of the famous iPhone FPS is still a very nice product. With a fabulous 10 player online mode and a lot of missions to attend, you'll have a lot of fun, even if it's a "more of the same". You should wait for a price cut only if you have the previouse game and you are not interested to multiplayer.

This edition of Mass Effect 2 is undoubtedly the best, and most complete among those available on the market. If you own a PlayStation 3, and don't want to live a life full of "gaming regrets", you really can't miss out on this epic sci-fi adventure.

Sometime a good idea can shape-up a good game. That's not the case. Multiplayer in Mindjack could've saved the day, but all the other stuff will give you only an enormous headache.

If you love multiplayer FPS, you'll surely find in Breach a lot of pros: frenetic gameplay, stunning physics and environmental interaction and, last but not least, a perfect skill system for the player. It will never be remembered as the most innovative FPS in Xbox Live, but it accomplishes its job well, and that's enough.

With its incredible visuals, a precise control sistem and a perfect career mode, Real Racing 2 is the must have racing game for iPhone and iPad. Thanks to the many level of configuration, both the casual player and the simulation addicted can enjoy the game at its best. In a simple word, this is what Gran Turismo should be on a portable device, and don't forget the 16 players online multiplayer!

Ghost Trick: Detective Fantasma is a great adventure game with a strong personality, an awsome look and pretty dialogs. The original gameplay is able to keep the interest constantly alive, but the lack of variety and the trial and error mechanics could be a problem for someone.

An action-packed MMO, with some important flaws that must be corrected if Sony wants to appeal a vast audience. Controls can become an issue if you play it on PC and quests are a bit too much on the grinding side, but the combat system and the customization options are fun. With some improvements this game could find its own place in the MMO jungle.

Dead Space 2 is bigger, better but less scary than the first episode of Visceral Games' horror franchise. This is not a crime, though, because the game is really awesome. The multiplayer is interesting but looks just like a simple extra to the main game.

The substantial lack of innovations makes Re:coded a game that might be hard to appreciate for both fans and potential newcomers to the franchise. Anyone who's had the chance to play the old games for PS2 might in fact see the same strengths and weaknesses for which the brand as always been known for.

Zeit2 is a fresh reinterpretation of the shot'em up genre, with psychedelic minimalistic style and interesting features like time-travelling. Unluckily, game mechanics are a bit too difficult not only for the newbie, but also for the shmup veterans. Remember that: after you'll start it, your fingers will be in danger!
