With a beautiful soundtrack, lovely retro-visuals and a perfectly narrated story, Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP is a game you should absolutely own on you iPad. Maybe you'll like it, maybe not, but you can't deny the stunning quality of this act of love to the adventure genre.

Considering the quality of its base concept and the welcome innovations that shift the fulcrum of the game to a more action oriented experience, The Sims: Medieval proves to be a well crafted spin-off that could actually represent the first step towards the long-awaited evolution of the series.

Yakuza 4 is a beautiful game partially spoiled by really old gameplay mechanics. The combat system is still cool and reactive, and the new characters add great value to the experience.

A modern vision of chess game, Assault Squad offers a micro strategic vision of war, giving the possibility to control a little party of soldiers up to the victory.

Sherlock Holmes and the Mistery of Osborne House is a good variation of the Professor Layton formula. The graphic is well drawn, but the complete lack of animations is quite sad. The puzzles are good and often complex enough, but every single mini-game is too much classic to create some problem to the genre lovers.

One of the best and visually gorgeous games on Nintendo DS, OkamiDen offers a long quest with a lot of things to see (and do) and a good amount of secrets to discover.

Although gambling isn't as thrilling as it would be with real money on the table, Full House Poker proves to be a well crafted game that will surely keep poker fans busy for several hours.

A good pirates adventure, Jolly Rover suffers in originality, trying to imitate too much Monkey Island.

Another great LEGO game set in the Star Wars universe. This time Traveller's Tales brings us in the middle of the Clone War, with new (and old) characters, new quests, new graphics engine, new animations and a new, and surprisingly enjoyable, Conquest Mode.

Super Monkey Ball 3D offer three different modes, and just one of those is really fun. The Monkey Race has few gameplay problems and the Monkey Fight is quite boring. The 3D effect and the tilt controls can't be used together, which is a sad problem.

Considering the overall quality, both visually and gameplay wise, PES 2011 3D is undoubtedly the best football game available on 3DS. There's definitely room for improvement, but for the time being we can consider ourselves satisfied.

Although, storywise, it's linked to the upcoming Mass Effect 3, Arrival proves to be a mediocre add-on that doesn't add anything significant to Mass Effect 2's experience. Unless you're a real fan of the brand, you should surely look elsewhere.

A great downloadable game with a balanced gameplay, good graphics and, most of all 50 funny Swarmites you can kill in the most unpredictable way. Ok, to kill them all is not your primary goal, but since you get also awarded, why not?

Thanks to the quality of its singleplayer and multiplayer, the richness of contents and, most of all, the realism of the whole driving experience, Shift 2: Unleashed proves to be one of the best, if not the best, driving simulator currently on the market. Turn 10 and Polyphony have now found a worthy rival.

New console, new puppies, new success. If you, or your children, have missed the first Nintendogs, this must be one of your 3DS launch titles. For the rest of the world, this updated version of the original game doesn't deserve much attention.

Pilotwings Resort is a perfect tech demo for the new Nintendo 3DS. The way the game uses the 3D is perfect and gives the experience more depth. Anyway, the lack of any kind of multiplayer mode and of a new island are two huge problems.

Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition is a great portable version of the Capcom popular fighting game. The differences between the traditional controls and the new version for the Touch Screen are big enough to change the original gameplay, creating a new and interesting version of Street Fighter.
