The Last Stand is an addictive dual stick shooter, with nice graphics and different types of monster to battle with. Sometimes mechanics are a little tricky – especially in the collision system, and artistic direction doesn't reach the magnitude we've seen in the most representative title of this genre (Minigore): but if you are deeply in love with zombies and for some strange reason you don't like furries much, 7 Raven Studios IP represents a good compromise for your Apple devices.

Thanks to its karma system which translates in two different adventures for the price of one, inFamous 2 would already prove itself a real must buy, but if we add to that a refined gameplay, impressing visuals and an all-rounded fun and engaging adventure, the game surely deserves a place in any gamer's collection.

After 12 years, the one and only badass videogame hero is back. Its gameplay and visuals aren't exactly groundbreaking, but in any case Duke Nukem Forever proves to be an outrageously fun rollercoaster of fast paced action and intense emotions!

Despite it's "not-so-well-polished" graphics and game design, Hunted the Demon Forge will entertain action-RPG fans with hours of good old-days gameplay, mixed with a little "Gears of" spice. A good appetizer for the next RPGs to come.

No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise is a great porting of the original game published time ago on the Nintendo Wii. The HD lifting is quite good and the addition of 5 bosses from No More Heroes 2 is a nice touch. Anyway, the old problems are still there, not enough to ruin the experience but to enough be somehow disappointing.

Bangai-o HD: Missile Fury is the best version of the Treasure classic. The combination of perfect controls and awesome gameplay creates a fantastic experience for every hardcore gamers out there. The lack of the offline multiplayer and the problems of the net-code during the online co-op are a shame, and partially ruin this masterpiece.

The lack of a "real" Career Mode, the "freemium" content-unlock structure and some technical issues, make of MX vs ATV Alive one of the worst chapters of the long-lasting THQ series.

Graphically Beep is quite simple, but you know from the start that its physics and gameplay will force you to play level after level. The control system it's not customizable as we would have liked, but aside from that, Beep it's a worthy new asset in the ever growing Steam indie scene.

Dead or Alive: Dimensions is a great portable version of the popular franchise, and the right way to celebrate the 15th anniversary of this brand. The 4 buttons gameplay is perfect for the Nintendo 3DS, and for the first time the 3D effect is kinda good.

Considering its numerous faults, this edition of The Sims 3 proves to be quite disappointing, since the only ones able to fully enjoy it will be those unable to live a single moment of their live's without their precious Sims by their side.

Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale is a technical mess. Tons of bugs ruins the experience, transforming a potentially good game in an old chinese torture. The only good element of the package is the multiplayer mode, but some strange lag issues destroy all the fun.

Brink is a mine of good ideas ruined by some technical flaws and some bizarre design issues. If you're looking for a great teamplay FPS, Team Fortress 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 are still your first choice.

Although 2000 SimPoints or €14,90 aren't surely prohibitive for most gamers, Barnacle Bay proves to be a controversial add-on that will probably disappoint the majority of the franchise's fans.

Can Honest Hearts be considered a must buy? For the survivors of the Mojave desert, drinking Sarsaparilla and eating radioactive scorpions, probably it is. For those who ended New Vegas without feeling the need to replay the various plots and side quests, it definitely isn't.

Gatling Gears is a nice shooter with awesome graphics and an incredible mecha design. The main problem, here, is the lack of a real challenge due to the godly easy difficulty level. If you're looking for a nice shoot 'em up for casual gamers, this is your game.

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean is another incredibly addicting LEGO game, with better visuals, better (and harder) puzzles and a lot of charismatic characters. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have learned lessons from the previous chapters, so... sorry, no online play here!

The Tiny Bang Story has two different souls: one, less convincing, built on the classic "find the object" gameplay; the other one lives on its magic atmosphere and makes the game great to be played.

SEGA Rally Online Arcade is a nice arcade racing that exploits the "nostalgia factor": colors, musics, tracks and cars are perfect for every SEGA Rally fan. The lack of 60 fps and some issues with the online are the biggest problems of this really good game.

Faery: Legends of Avalon is an original RPG, ruined by simplistic mechanics and a superficial gameplay. Some designing choices are pretty good, but game experience is too linear and slow, without any kind of challenge. Give it a chance only if you are really in love with the fantasy universe, but keep in mind that RPG market on PC has definitely much more to offer.

The PC version of Fable III is better than the console version. The new difficulty level is what hardcore gamers asked for, and you'll get all the contents of the Collector's Edition at a lower price. If you like long and story-driven games, you should consider buying it.

The Witcher 2 is probably the best RPG on PC. CD Projekt did a great job, creating an intense, deep and real fantasy experience, and giving players the freedom to choose their fate. If you are looking for a strong, mature and emotional game, buy this and play it for months.

L.A. Noire is not a perfect game under many points of view, but on the other hand it is a masterpiece that no one should miss. It's a TV series packed in game disc, a fine example that videogames can be art and the proof that there's still the chance to create something new in videogames.

Porting a game to different systems is always risky, but in N.O.V.A. it has also proven a bad choice: poor graphics, irritating control scheme and void appeal. Unless you really want to waste your money look elsewhere.
