Resident Evil: Revelations is a gorgeous showcase of what a Nintendo 3DS is really capable of... and one of the best "modern" chapters of the series.

Hero Academy offers a new concept of multiplayer gaming on iOS devices: an asynchronous system using push notification, suitable for quick session you can resume whenever you want, even the following day. Robot Entertainment's IP is funny and immediate, suitable for all player – even the less skilled with RTS. But be careful: playing without a strategy against a human opponent could be an authentic suicide.

A funny and challenging puzzle-platform, similar to Super Paper Mario and Fez... with just some of the worst graphics ever seen on 3DS.

There is absolutely no reason why you should want to buy this game. Awful gameplay and visuals, along with a pathetic storyline make this one of the worse downloadable games of this generation.

Another masterpiece from the makers of Fruit Ninja. It's free, it's funny, it's hypnotic... it's a must have!

Despite a control schema not always keeping up and a little tricky, especially in Enril management, LostWinds is one of the most interesting platform games available in the App Store. Frontier's IP is a poetic balance of design, narrative and gameplay, an ageless fairy tale with an enchanted mood.

Boom Street is the first chapter of the long-running Itadaki series coming on western shores. If you like Monopoly-style games, this is the stuff you were waiting for.

Thanxs to its biometric technology, Gua-Le-Ni Or: The Horrendous Parade is a compelling puzzle game, capable of adapting to your mood, whatever it is. What else to ask for?

Q.U.B.E. it's a niche product that deserves the attention of all puzzle game addicts thanks to an original gameplay concept. There's no doubt about the fact it can't match the wonderful appearance and storyboard of Portal 2, but for 12 Euros on Steam you can be sure there's no point to complain about one of the most original puzzle games released in recent years.

One of the best Nintendo eShop games available. A juicy mix between Mega Man and Outland, for a fistful of bucks.

560 Microsoft Point for 10 cars, 7 of which are quite irrelevant, could prove too much even for a fan of this series. Nonetheless, Turn 10 offers a DLC whose value is perfectly in line with what the racing games market has to offer. Only for fans.

The jam of optional game modes helps a little to forget the botched gameplay of the main race, but can't save Flatout 3: Chaos & Destruction from the shame of a production that screams vengeance thinking to the never-ending holidays where talented developers like Bizarre are forced.

This compilation uses the nostalgia effect to gain money from the hardcore Mortal Kombat players. After so many years every single game of this Kollection is less appealing than before. The horrible lag, moreover, prevent players from having fun with the online multiplayer.

The 3DS version of Tetris is quite interesting due to the new Fever mode. The lack of a deep online multiplayer (the classic versus is simply not enough) is a shame, but the game is honest anyway. If you're a Tetris deviant you can't miss this fake 3D edition.

Batman Arkham City Lockdown tries to offer an Infinity Blade experience, with stunning graphics and addictive gameplay. Sad to say, the results are totally different: mechanics are poor, besides too few ideas repeated throughout the game. Definitely, a half faux pas in the Warner Bros Batman franchise.

Heroes & Heralds is a nice DLC which adds great fun to the original experience. The lack of a good A.I. for the single player mode and the crazy absence of an offline multiplayer option are two big issues, but the final result is still really, really good.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations PC doesn't show any particular improvement than the console counterparts save for the imaginable better resolution and frame rate. Do not expect any DX11 eye-candy, then! As for the game, it is still great but we expect Ubisoft to introduce more changes as soon as possible.

Rise of Nightmares is an interesting idea, an ambitious project followed by a catastrophic implementation. Walking on 3D locations sounds really promising, but its charm disappears after 10 minutes because of a too twisted control schema: considering this was the first horror hardcore game for Kinect, we can only hope for a brighter future for this genre.
