Ryse: Son of Rome is a good action game with an interesting cooperative multiplayer and solid next-gen graphics. The lack of variety of its combat system is Ryse's bigger issue, but if you like action games this could be a nice first step into your next-gen experience.

With the goal of approaching the console market, Port Royale 3 has simplified too many of its mechanics, resulting in a step back in the strategy genre.

A unique fan-service for DC Universe lovers, just another (good) LEGO game for everyone else.

At times pure survival and sometimes a kind of story-driven adventure, Breathedge is a mixture which doesn't always work and that in different occasions has the fault of highlighting the main issues of its central genres. Despite all of this it's a funny and intriguing survival adventure really capable of engage every adventurer lost in space.

Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption is the most interesting DLC of those proposed to date. Although it requires the usual 7-8 hours for 100% completition, thanks to an all new cast it manages to offer a little more. Smooth storyline, interesting atmosphere and endless weapons, all with a comic touch in pure Borderlands style.

Compared to the iPhone version, DH Alliance is a good porting with brilliant mechanics, deep gameplay and an addictive multiplayer mode. Ok, graphics could have been better , a new class of hero would have been appreciated and, most of all, Move is a little tricky to play with, but Gameloft's IP still remains an interesting action RPG in the digital delivery market.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl lead us to rediscover the fascinating Sinnoh region fourteen years after the original. Too bad that many of the improvements introduced by the Platinum version have been removed and that these remakes do not present any substantial upgrade, except for a renewed visual aspect.

Contrast is a nice puzzle game with an amazing art direction but not so amazing gameplay. The dualism between light and darkness is nice, as the setting, a noir grotesque version of the ‘20s, but the game itself lacks on the technical side, and, after a while, even the puzzles become boring.

Lara Croft's return to the isometric 3D world benefits from a juicy yet functional 60fps-graphics, room for two more friends to join the fray and a decent amount of things to do and tombs to raid. The single-player mode is maybe a little below average, but that's not really where the fun is aimed at.

The Hip-Hop Dance Experience is a good game for true Hip-Hop fans. The wise track list and the interesting dance tricks are enough to grant a lot of fun to Hip-Hop maniacs. Other players, on the other hand, should look for Dance Central 3, simply better in every single aspect.

The great soundtrack and the distinctive art-style are the two main things that we noticed during our first play through. After that is all laughs thanks to a witty dark humor, and fun thanks to an old-school hardcore rogue-like. This is a good indie game, aimed to a very specific audience.

Despite it's "not-so-well-polished" graphics and game design, Hunted the Demon Forge will entertain action-RPG fans with hours of good old-days gameplay, mixed with a little "Gears of" spice. A good appetizer for the next RPGs to come.

Considering the limited budget and labor force, Daymare 1998 is beyond doubt an incredible job carried out by an Italian team as passionate as it is talented. One wonders, though, if a similar project could shine its own light or is destined to remain a satellite of Capcom's famous horror saga, given how the very heavy all-round inspiration is often accompanied by a mediocre polishing and balancing of the gameplay.

Maybe not the best episode of the season, Beyond the Alley of the Dolls has the task to prepare the ground for the upcoming ending. It does its work quite well, unfortunately losing a good deal of its glow.

Call of Duty: Vanguard has a solid and fun multiplayer mode as well as a jaw-dropping technical outfit. Too bad that the single player has not enjoyed the same care and presents itself as one of the least convincing experiences in the history of the brand.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars is a nice, small and interesting game, with a perfect level design and cute graphics. Its affordable price, the cross-buy and cross-play options between 3DS and Wii U, plus huge social element, are enough to keep you interested for many hours.
