Not an essential buy for Vita owners, but even with a graphic downgrade, both games are still two of the most beautiful pieces of software available on PlayStation.

A very hard core metroidvania, with some good ideas and others not so good. You can appreciate it olny if you loved this kind of game in the 16 bit era. If old games are not your kind leave this on the shelf.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is a huge step backward for this popular franchise. After the great Campaign Mode in Black Ops II, the simple 5-hour long Campaign of Ghosts is a shame. The Extinction mode alone could sell the game, but the overall competitive multiplayer experience isn't as good as the one we loved in the last episode from Treyarch.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is an exciting and moving journey into the relationship between Amicia and Hugo. Unfortunately, the gameplay is too guided sometime breaking the suspension of disbelief.

Alba: A Wildlife Adventure is a wonderful story about respect for nature and animals, and it’s extremely important for all of us.

Though only marginally linked to the main story, Metal Gear Survive works. Doubts and prejudices aside about the continuation of the brand after the Kojima departure, Survive is a good and entertaining product, with a solid history and valid survival mechanics. Although not revolutionizing the genre, what prevents the title from achieving higher results are microtransitions, which although not excessively invasive, should not be present in a full price game.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is a clear step ahead of the mediocre Ninja Gaiden 3. Team Ninja tried his best to improve the original game and the final result is pretty good. Not awesome, but still good enough.

A great story and some well scripted/designed characters are not enough to elevate this Dynasty Warriors-style game above average status.

With Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate MercurySteams follows its own way of thinking about the epic Konami franchise. The developers did a good job in capturing Castlevania’s soul, but the game’s soundtrack and level design aren’t good enough to stand a chance against the other portable episodes of the series. It’s still a good and entertaining game, anyway.

More a puzzle game than a platform, Turn On, despite many flaws, wins the heart of the gamer with a truly inspired and dreamy design.

This new edition of Phoenix Wright is a lazy porting of the DS version of the game. The only new feature regards the use of the Wii remote in a couple of occasions, and it's a shame that Capcom didn't dare to do more than this. Anyway, the game is still good, and it's a perfect investment for those who never played Phoenix Wright before.

The Climb 2 is a good sequel to the first chapter, even if it runs into the structural limits of VR and does not significantly expand the content offer.

Insidia is a free-to-play interesting take on the tactical genre that needs a bit more to become a full fledged alternative to other better established franchises. Gameplay is interesting and deep enough, but content and production values fall a bit short.

Alder's Blood is a valid game based on a solid genre, nonetheless it manages to give that something extra thanks to some good original ideas and an intriguing setting. The Switch version, however, is slightly inaccurate in the management of the movements of the units and breaks too much the pace of exploration and adventure with loading screens of unjustified length,given the minimal design of maps and characters.

Contra Anniversary Collection is a package that includes ten selected classic titles from the Contra franchise, part of Konami's "Anniversary Collection" series. It has an extremely fast gameplay, suitable for nostalgic players.

If Blacklight: Retribution was a full fledged commercial product, it wouldn't make it to a decent score: the free to play business model instead deserves some attention from the FPS junkies with empty pockets, in particular those who truly can't stand Team Fortress 2.
