Despite a troubled development, Scorn managed to evolve over the years, to reach a visual and aesthetic power hardly achieved by other video games, including AAA. Unfortunately, the gameplay core is anachronistic and makes the gaming experience unsatisfactory, at times even frustrating... certainly light-years behind the artistic aspects of the title.

Twin Mirror is a psychological thriller with a pleasant gameplay and excellent characters but which, unfortunately, suffers from a too hasty and superficial script.

Rise of the Godslayer is the first expansion in this MMO from Funcom. As the final result of a constant process of updates, patch after patch Age of Conan has now become a complete game under the PVE point of view, despite there is still a lot to do to improve the PVP.

Are you looking for a game with a wild sense of humor? A game with funny multiplayer? A game with a really high number of stupid deaths? Magicka 2 is exactly what are you looking for: same shape of its predecessor with new graphic, new content and of course, endless fun.

Starting from the interesting idea of creating a Portal clone set in the future, with some elements taken from H.P. Lovercraft, Magrunner ends up as a funny game but nothing more. A good chance to create something different, only partially accomplished.

UnDungeon is a fun action RPG, inspired by a fascinating and intriguing world. The gameplay, while fun, is repetitive, and the progression system simplifies as you advance in the experience.

Superliminal is an interesting work creating an engaging atmosphere, able to capture the player and accompany him, almost unconsciously, towards the end of the journey. And the finale moral will leave a mark in many players.

7th Dragon III Code VFD is a good dungeon crawler for people who never played this kind of games. The art direction is interesting, the characters' classes are fresh and the original soundtrack from Yuzo Koshiro is a blast.

Muramasa: The Demon Blade is a masterpiece manqué: Vanillaware focused too much on the technical side forgetting a little about the core gameplay, and the result is a game that's visually astonishing yet flawed. Some will love it the same, but many will regret its wasted potential.

This is the Police 2 is a very interesting game, full of new and compelling ideas but packaged in a badly tested final product bound to infuriate players as much as it will amaze them.

Fossil Echo is a fun platform/puzzle/stealth game with an interesting story and a good graphics department. Too bad its difficulty progression is non-existent and player frustration is always present.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a beautiful monument to the legend of Goku and its wonderful world. But no matter how strange it sounds, it’s at the same time very close and very far from being the best Dragon Ball game out there.

Another bloody slice of the juicy Devil May Cry pie cooked by Ninja Theory. Dante’s brother is finally here to give players an entertaining but (very) short new adventure.

One step back for the gorgeous Nier Automata on the Nintendo Switch . The game is still entertaining but the equation 720p/1080p + 30fps doesn't give the best result. The “portability factor” adds something, but not enough to convince those who already played the game on other platforms.

In the vast panorama of soulslike games, Hellpoint sits on the lower end of the difficulty scale, bringing a couple of interesting innovations to the genre. Setting and art direction surely original and interesting with a good dose of level design. Combat is a bit unresponsive and laggy.

Necrobarista is a 3D visual novel. It is stylish, relaxing and mysterious. Direction and scenography are smart and evocative. The writing is overall good, but it lacks focus, with head hopping and a lot of filler sequences.

Age of Empires III Definitive Edition follows the original formula offering a ton of content and adding a very nice and effective coat of paint, both visually and in the audio department. The old style gameplay could turn off modern RTS players though.

Fire Emblem Warriors is an hack & slash musou developed by Omega Force and produced by Koei Tecmo. It shares the DNA with Dynasty Warriors series, but the game is set in Fire Emblem universe. The strategic component is well developed and the fan service is very good, though the game feels tedious in the long run, and technically speaking we saw much better on the Nintendo Switch.

WRC Powerslide is a nice arcade interpretation of the classic WRC simulation game. The lack of game modes is pretty obvious, but the genuine arcade gameplay can offer a lot of fun.
