Two of the best action games of the past generation in one pack, with all the DLCs, an improved graphic department but also some frame rate issues.

Only the next generation of consoles will give Codemasters the chance to overcome the technical issues of the last four F1 games. Anyway, this 2013 version is a good improvement over the 2012 entry that can provide F1 fans with endless hours of racing fun.

Wings of Prey is a dog fight simulator as I haven't seen in a long time: fast, undaunted, honest. Probably something could have been done to give it a strongest storyline, but if you are a pilot, you have the game that will make your blood boil.

Evolve is a complex PC game marketed as a console triple A hit. Not everyone will like it, but it's a fresh take on an old concept nonetheless.

Shin Megami Tensei V seems like a “best-of” of the previous chapters. An amusing action-RPG hybrid with great emphasis on exploration, thanks to larger scale levels, and the funny “demon negotiations” feature that once again refreshes an established combat system.

Rabbids Go Home is an excellent mixture of madness, fun and irreverence. Let the Rabbids come in and enjoy their crazy humor: this one is absolutely the best title of the series!

Heroes & Heralds is a nice DLC which adds great fun to the original experience. The lack of a good A.I. for the single player mode and the crazy absence of an offline multiplayer option are two big issues, but the final result is still really, really good.

FIFA has changed its face. It's bigger, more realistic, and more jaw-dropping than ever before but it seems to have left behind one important factor: fun.

Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown is a revamped and remastered version of a brilliant game released over a decade ago. Despite the simple 3-button setup, the battle system is surprisingly deep. This game is easy to access but hard to master. Every fighter has his unique fighting style and everyone can find is perfect fitting. SEGA obviously wants to push the online experience since offline modes are very limited. Expect regular free updates for netcode and new contents in the next months.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PS5 is nothing but the next-gen reincarnation of the fourth best selling game in the PS4 era. It doesn't aim to step up the open-world genre: it simply desires to stand out as an entertaining experience within the usual constraints, being just a great videogame part of the best Spider-Man tie-in.

Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth Rising Tide isn't a perfect piece of software, but adds some great feature in the vanilla game. The diplomacy system could be in the future the standard for 4x genre, but it needs some more tweaks. But you can't play Beyond Earth without Rising Tide.

In this new edition, Journey to the Center of Bowser has acquired a three-dimensional graphic detail that has definitely improved the loveliness of the game. The surreal and funny narration is a guarantee of many hours of fun in a colorful world, suitable for any age.

The first attempt to use Kinect against the extra weight is really good. Your Shape: Fitness Evolved is a great way to train yourself at home. The "no controller" experience is perfect for this kind of training games, and the good quality and variety of the training programs are really important for the final result.

The Legend of Heroes:Trails From Zero comes to the west for the first time since its original release on the PSP in 2010. A great remaster work covers textures, sprites, aspect ratio, frame-rate pop-in and obviously resolution. The game is smooth to play and gameplay aids help users to bypass long dialogues and accelerate battle encounters. A deep crafting system and a great story make this classic still enjoyable nowadays.

Thronebreaker is different thing from the good old Gwent. It’s a puzzle adventure mixed with some RPG choice, introducing a spin off story with Meve the warrior queen and many recalls to the main storyline, lived in The Witcher series. As a spin off, it is worth the shot, and the budget price sounds right.
