While there were a couple of things that didn't quite work for me, the stories that the machine holds, the strong writing, and the novelty of the game itself elevated TR-49 into something that really pulled me in. It's a fascinating puzzle game, and one that I hope doesn't go under the radar.- Digital Spy

If there is a downside to One Epic Knight, it is that the upgrades are priced high to encourage in-app purchases using real money, which is a common problem with this type of mobile game. Other than that, just make sure you turn down the volume to avoid the grating voice acting, and enjoy dashing through castles in one of the best mobile infinite runner games yet.- Digital Spy

While many games will borrow elements from the classics in an attempt to become a spiritual successor to some popular title, MouseCraft manages to pay homage to its inspirations while retaining an identity all its own.- Digital Spy

The game moves along nicely, eliminating potential problems with repetition; the graphics are great and the multiplayer is enormous fun, despite a few technical problems. OK, so Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine isn't the most original of games, or the most innovative, but it is finely polished and paced, and offers enough entertainment to overlook any shortcomings.- Digital Spy

Cities: Skylines successfully caters for the audience left disappointed by SimCity with a level of accessibility tailored for casual city builders, combined with enough substance to delight veterans of the genre. Colossal Order has learned from EA's mistakes and brought us a game that steers clear of those pitfalls and emerges as a pioneer in its category.- Digital Spy

You'll fall for Alienation's great twitch gameplay, but it's with its RPG-like elements that the hooks really sink in. Alienation has created something that's part twin-stick blaster, part sci-fi dungeon crawler, with all the looting, levelling and upgrading that implies. Limited locations and the repetitive shoot 'em up gameplay might make it a less enticing prospect a few weeks in, but right now it's impossible to resist.- Digital Spy

Ms Splosion Man is as faithful a port as you can get, right down to the heroine's chipper pop culture references and hilarious cutscenes. It isn't perfect though, due mostly to the unavoidable limitations of the touch screen.- Digital Spy

No matter how you play it, Persona 3 is a more than a worthwhile experience. Reload can be accused of being a little too faithful for its own good, with some of the inherited flaws slightly holding it back, but it is still an excellent way to enjoy this classic. It's dark at times, but has a hopeful message. Through all the devastation, the cast learn to be there for each other and try to make the most out of life.- Digital Spy

Expelled! follows a similar blueprint to Overboard!, but ambition in its narrative design helps the game to feel rewarding in a different way. There's more to the story than trying to clear Verity's name. How Verity develops as a character across several playthroughs is the reason why Inkle's latest is able to stand out on its own.- Digital Spy

Infinity Blade II continues to be a step forward for iOS gaming. Chair has delivered a visual masterpiece with satisfying combat that rectifies many of the issues of its predecessor. We aren't quite at that point where smartphones and tablets have made handheld gaming systems obsolete, but after this release, the gap between them is certainly narrower.- Digital Spy

What this first episode sets up though, holds tremendous potential for the season ahead. And while banking on potential can be dangerous for an episodic game, if Telltale can maintain the precedent it's setting here for narrative risks and twists then the payoff will be all the better for it in the end.- Digital Spy

Spec Ops: The Line lacks innovation or polish in its gameplay, but makes up for it with a story that genuinely has impact and meaning. Whilst the ending is a bit limp, the overall narrative raises serious questions about the duty of a soldier, and how far that goes. Whilst the multiplayer does not quite hit the same heights, this is still a shooter that stands on its own and is not afraid to show the ugly side of the Call of Duty dream.- Digital Spy

The objectives don't change the way levels play too much, but they do offer additional challenges to extend the game's life. The core pinball aspect is tons of fun too, so you'll be looking for reasons to play more of it. It's brought together with an utterly charming art style and cast of furball characters that makes Momonga Pinball Adventures a joy to play on the go.- Digital Spy
