I must admit I am a sucker for games that tap into my childhood in a positive way. Gun Showdown pointed its barrel at my long lost younger self and told me to reach for the skies. Being a veteran of many gunfights, I did exactly what I was told and haven't regretted a thing.

I couldn't be more impressed with Devil Summoner. It blew away all of my expectations, and added a number of new features that were a real breath of fresh air.

It's as good a golf game as they come, and while there might not be a whole lot of improvement over 06's mechanics, it's at least as good if not better than last year's title.

I've played for at least a couple of hours every day since I got it -- I've played a lot of my all time favorites (Chess, Backgammon), learned how to play a few games that have interested me for a while (Shogi, Hanafuda), and even came close to destroying my DS on a number of occasions thanks to a couple of insanely hard missions (Bowling, Hasami Shogi).

Ultimately, Stacked is just another poker game with a "poker celebrity" face.

This game is definitely not a good demonstration of what the camera is capable of, and for people who didn't graduate from EyeToy University, this game could be enough to put them off of motion-based gaming indefinately.

Wif nah real multiplayer mode ter speak of (unless ya consider 'andin' the chuffin' psp ter someone else as their turn comes up true multiplayer) and tacked on gang battle, this is prolly the bleedin' worst representation of London's seedy underbelly I've ever 'ad the displeasure ter witness.

Sort of like a dorky teenager going through an identity crisis: it wants to be cool like all the other kids, but it hasn't quite figured out what it is about them that made them cool in the first place. The game isn't severely broken in any major way, but I can't bring myself to recommend it to even the most hardcore Family Guy fan.

This game is more a sandbox than any other created, and thus the only people who will really be able to enjoy the game are those who have the imagination to make their own fun in a world. For many, this will cause JC to fall into the shadows of "meh", but for creative gamers, it'll be the best sandbox game you will ever own.

For ten bucks, you get a piece of gaming pie that will feed you again and again. For ten bucks, you get a piece of history. Sure, you may have had a piece of this pie already, but who the hell turns down a slice of extraordinarily delicious pie when their offered it again and again? Not me.

When it's all said and done, Silmeria is a fantastic RPG and a proud trophy that the Playstation 2 will display as one of the finest "farewell" games. Fans of the series will surely rekindle their love for the Norse-inspired tale of redemption, and the game more than provides on the fan-front.

It's almost like a Jekyll and Hyde syndrome. On one hand, you've got the worst load times found in the entire PSP library, yet you've got a decent game underneath this mess that, while not reinventing the genre in any way, seeks to provide the game with an entertaining experience and it's a struggle I don't believe many people will be able to deal with.

While I can't say that Battle B-Daman: Fire Spirits! is much of an improvement over the original, I can say that it remains just as fun as the original and the additional content that has been thrown in has been done so in such a way as to make the game a bit more enjoyable.

Okami may be the most visually stunning game I've ever played. On the surface it might seem like your basic cel-shaded title, but it doesn't take long to realize that there's so much more to the aesthetic than meets the eye.

Though it's not the best free-roaming game ever made, it's easily the best movie-based game in history and pays tribute to the Don with great respect.

While the game is pretty easy and filled to the brim with Square Enix in-jokes, Rocket Slime is still some of the most fun you'll have on the Nintendo DS. It may not take advantage of the touch screen, which may turn some off to the game, but it is still a hell of a lot of fun to pick up and play.

The graphics are getting old, the touch screen menu system is lacking, the touch screen animal interaction is pure novelty and grows old fast and the storyline is not necessary.

A fantastic incarnation of the series you thought you knew; an incarnation that changes up so many different but fundamental gameplay functions that it really feels like a totally different game than last year: and that's what makes it worth purchasing.

If you are looking for a stripped down arcade style hockey game with a gimmicky control scheme, then "NHL07" is your best bet. But if you take your hockey seriously, from coaching strategies, far superior graphics, tighter control, great online play, all the way down to running a franchise, then NHL2K7 is the ticket to buy.
