While Bioshock doesn't necessarily do anything remarkably new once looked at from afar, what it does achieve is a literal masterpiece of all the elements presented. Most shocking of all is the deep customizable weapon system which gives it an almost RPG feel.

A majestic work of gaming art, a true virtual masterpiece that simply must be played to be truly believed... It is apparent to me that this was a project that was loved from the moment it was dreamt up and that sense of caring simply shines through like a beacon in the darkness.

Quite simply, if you own a 360 and love shooters; then The Orange Box is a must buy.

Coming in at ten dollars less that its console counterpart, you should be giving your PC some long overdue attention.

As close to perfection as one can get. Wind Waker features some of the greatest graphics to date, an easy and intuitive control scheme, a truly epic storyline and a brilliant score to top it off.

Halo 3 will not revolutionize the first person shooter, nor is it taking the Halo franchise to anyplace really new. What it does do is deliver the penultimate Halo experience with improved graphics and tons of MP features.

While lacking any truly new updates in graphics and sound, makes full use of the e-Reader, only adding to the overall potential that the game has to offer. It’s perhaps the first game to actually use the peripheral in any truly rewarding sense.

Taking a game that was already well done and polishing it off further is difficult to say the least, but Subsistence does it with flying colors.

With superior graphics, outstanding control, and easy to use combos, you should be playing it just for the enjoyment of playing a well made game.

Combat is perhaps the most exciting element featured in Knights of the Old Republic. Part real-time, part traditional RPG, Knights of the Old Republic offers an intriguing system for players to dabble in.

Everything about this game is beautifully orchestrated and flawless in presentation.

To me there's nothing exciting about being stuck on some invisible rail smacking winged creatures out of the air only to be finished off with a series of context button commands.

In many ways, Street Fighter IV feels a lot like a classic car that has been restored with a new engine, new paint and some snazzy custom tail fins.

I honestly had some doubts, as "one mountain" sounds a little shallow or limiting – but it wound up working out fantastically - ironically offering the most variety of the trilogy.

Okami may be the most visually stunning game I've ever played. On the surface it might seem like your basic cel-shaded title, but it doesn't take long to realize that there's so much more to the aesthetic than meets the eye.

Though the controls are a bit goofy at first, the graphics and sound make the game highly palatable. The addition of Link, while wholly out of place, was a good choice, as he is an excellent character to practice, learn with and master.

The game mechanics are solid and innovative, leaving you with many inventive ways in which to scrap with your foe. The graphics are simply phenomenal, creating a look and feel that teeters more towards art than simply backgrounds and characters.

The controls for the PS2 version are nothing short of perfect, but the slightly reduced graphics and occasional framerate issues drop it down a notch.

I was immediately enamored with the title from the start and simply found myself mesmerized by its overall brilliance.

So, my friends, this is my cross to bear. Rest assured if the series continues down the path of leather pants and fret board showboating, I'll be unplugging my axe and shutting down my amp.

The reason Rock Band works so well, aside from the instrumentation, is the intangibles that permeate throughout the entire game.

Nearly every facet of the game is flawless, truly capturing the feel of running and playing in the NFL.
