All in all, I felt this game lived up to my expectations in all aspects except for the difficulty in the party management menus and the overall storyline. Honestly, the lack of basic plot elements early on was the biggest letdown of all.- Deeko

Sigh, maybe next time I will be able to find the game that throws me back to my childhood where the smell of pizza and the sights and sounds of my favorite pinball tables flashing lights await.- Deeko

Bad camera angles and a feeling of unfinished gameplay, makes four fantastic characters changed by one spectacular accident seem like one mediocre game.- Deeko

As I said before, I'm a sucker for this type of game and Cars does satisfy some of my tie-in hunger pangs, but after all the dust settles I'm still hungry. I think THQ was on the right track here, but possibly are guilty of a false start.- Deeko

It's even more infuriating that almost every major issue with the game could have been resolved with very little effort. Save points, more massive battles, less dull boss encounters... the list goes on and on.- Deeko

Shaun White Snowboarding starts out rough but after learning the ropes and getting involved with the multi-player experience it becomes a passable entry to the now current generation of consoles.- Deeko

Realistic historical missions kept me going when the temperamental controls would not. Well, that and possessing some methodical desire to get the hang of flying the damned thing. Either way it amounts to the same thing. Crank up the Stones and let's light 'em up!- Deeko

When you unleash a game that plays like it was developed after too many martinis, well then that's just downright criminal.- Deeko

The number of airplanes and the graphics and detail used to create said aircrafts is amazing and the controls are very user friendly, but the mentally challenged AI and monotonous missions make for some really uninteresting gaming.- Deeko

The idea is great and the execution can be very cumbersome, which is why I'm glad to see that Nintendo decided to allow for traditional controls, but I can see where Nintendo was really stretching on this one, which is sad considering how well designed it is on an artistic level.- Deeko

With only decent gameplay, simple graphics and the poorest infrastructure mode yet, Infected suffers from a disease of great ideas that have been exposed to a bacterial culture of poor execution.- Deeko

Spark has produced a shooter that crams as many fun monsters and insane action packed scripted events as possible into one game and lets gamers shoot them to their hearts content, which makes it perfect for a weekend rental.- Deeko

Exit is still an enjoyable puzzler, which challenges the grey matter like few puzzle games on the market do. Just be warned: Exit is a title that deserves, nay demands your time if you want to succeed.- Deeko

Even for a puzzle fiend such as myself, I can't see myself playing Gunpey ever again. It just doesn't have that intangible addictive quality that makes up a great puzzler.- Deeko

The combat system is one of the finest I've seen in ages, but the rest of Blade Dancer is nothing shy of mediocre.- Deeko

What little action there is to see is so far out of your controllable scope that you'll watch the battles simply to delude yourself into thinking there is something worth watching in the game.- Deeko

The AI lacks any real challenge and the track layouts are somewhat poorly thought out. Overall, the game is entertaining, but the longevity and competition just aren't enough to keep you on your toes for an extended period of time.- Deeko

Utopia, which could be considered the original simulation game, is fun and easy to get into, Frog Bog is as goofy as ever, Astrosmash is frenetic, and Snafu is just plain fun! However, many of the games are rendered simply unplayable due to the limitations of the Xbox controller.- Deeko

Overall, it's the same old song and dance that players have had for years now, so if you're into this extensive mech type of game, then you'll probably want to pick it up. However, most people will find themselves overwhelmed and bored quite quickly and while there have been improvements in small areas of the gameplay, the biggest flaws still exist.- Deeko

It feels like nothing has changed since Suikoden 3; actually, Suikoden 3 probably looks better than 5. Grandia 2 looks better than this. If I had to be a stickler, Chrono Cross for the Playstation was more visually impressive.- Deeko

A great game, and the Wii version fails only through the limitations of the system's hardware. To the developers' credit, they manufactured an absolutely fantastic control scheme, a difficult task on a controller so far removed from the known console staples.- Deeko

Lack of customizability, blah story and predictable AI make for something of a dull single player campaign, but what's there for multiplayer is solid. Fans of Star Trek will undoubtedly find things to like about this game, but fans of space sims might give it a cold reception.- Deeko

So is Dragon Quest Swords a game you should rush out and purchase on a whim, without thinking about paying your rent or eating for a day or two? I wouldn't go that far, but it certainly is a good diversion for gamers looking for something to sate their gaming tastes.- Deeko
