Civilization V is one of the best strategy games I have ever played.

With the additions of the CHL and Ultimate Hockey League and the great Gameplay improvements this is once again the best hockey game available as well as one of the best sports games out there.

Unless you are a diehard Spider-Man fan I would say there are better games to sink your time into this fall.

Mafia 2 has issues, in fact it has a lot of issues, but it is also a game that does so much right that you can often over look these shortcomings and just enjoy the experience.

If I was rating this game on concept alone it would have high marks, but sadly in terms of execution Kane and Lynch 2 battles the line of mediocrity and mediocrity wins out.

NCAA Football 11 is a great game of football, it has some shortcomings, but those are overshadowed by an all around excellent football game that I found to be one of the best the series has put out on this generation of consoles.

Behind the long load times of ModNation racer is a very visually pleasing and enjoyable kart racing experience that manages to build off of previous kart racing franchises and adding on a huge element of customization that has never been seen in a kart racer before.

Split/Second is one of those games that has a really solid concept and runs with it from start to finish. What ends up happening with this game though is that it looses that initial flare and ends up fizzling into a pretty standard arcade racing title.

This is not a huge leap forward for the series but at the same time I don’t think it had to be. There are some gripes I have with the size of the new environment but when it comes down to it there is no question in my mind that this is the best skateboarding experience available right now.

The game nailed the atmosphere and the intensity of the World Cup in a way that sports games have tried but never succeeded in doing.

Although not a perfect package, Splinter Cell Conviction is a great game that offers a great single player experience as well as a solid cooperative game that all combines into another must have action game.

Just Cause 2 sets a new standard in the sandbox genre, and will be difficult to top due to its incredible graphics, expansive world, and extremely fun gameplay.

The visuals are top notch, the gameplay is solid from beginning to end, and the experience is exactly what you would want from a Battlefield game.

This is not a perfect outing but dang is it a big improvement over last year’s outing and if your looking at this as a potential option I would say rent it first and make sure the style fits your needs as the game has plenty of content to take you outside of a rental period.

MLB 10: The Show is a great game of baseball and is one that has the staying power to be a game you can continue playing well into the dog days of summer.

In the day and age where every other game is a first person shooter, Heavy Rain comes to us with a fresh and original experience that is really unlike any other game on the market today. It is not perfect but its originality to me makes it a must have for any Playstation 3 owner.

If you are a fan of the series on the PSP then you should definitely pick it up because it is more of the same, but if not then stay away.

If you enjoyed the first game, you will most likely enjoy this game because it's very similar.

Mass Effect 2 is a top notch game because of its focus on refined gameplay, a great story, and its commitment to letting the player decide what happens in the end.

Army of Two: The 40th Day is bigger, badder, and better then the games first outing.

LittleBigPlanet for the PSP is one of the best games out there, and if you were a fan of the PS3 version, or wanted to see what all the talk was about, go out and buy it now.

What impresses me so much about this game is not only that it has a tremendous amount of hype surrounding it which it does, but that it delivers even through all of that.
