Off-Road Drive is a good example of a game trying too hard to imitate reality when the technology behind it is simply not there and is unbalanced.- DarkStation

Forza Motorsport 4 is an easy game to recommend to anyone who hasn't played Forza Motorsport 3 or to anyone who just likes racing games. However if you have played Forza 3 then you have to ask yourself, do you want to play more Forza Motorsport 3? If your answer is yes, then buy Forza 4, it is very good, it is just very similar to 3 except for a few added game modes. If you haven't played 3, then this is a game that you should play, as it is the best racing simulator on the market.- DarkStation

Grinding out levels and paid for content have their places in games, and neither should be in a $10 downloadable game based on a movie. There are a few moments that the game feels really fun but those moments wear off very quickly once the grind kicks in. Unless Real Steel is a movie that defines you there really isn't any reason to go whole hog over this game. Oh, it doesn't have Hugh Jackman in it in case you were wondering.- DarkStation

Battlefield 3 is a great game. The campaign comes off as dull and repetitive after a few hours, but multiplayer continues to be a thrill a minute- DarkStation

As a ten dollar DLG, I can say that there's enough about Sideway that's unique and ably designed for it to do well, despite the Skyrims and Modern Warfares of this season.- DarkStation

This collection just feels like a quick cash grab aimed at people who have never played a Splinter Cell game before. This collection may appeal to the hardcore Splinter Cell fans but outside of pleasing diehard fans, these games could be completely unmissed.- DarkStation

Batman: Arkham City is the best superhero game available, it is a perfect example of how a license should be used in a game. It's not quite as open world as I would have liked, but it is polished to near perfection.- DarkStation

John St. John, pretty visuals, and a great story to get behind, Rochard is a sleeper hit. Learning how to long jump in low gravity or just launching grenades through five different force fields to destroy one small piece of metal for a trophy gets my fingers itchy. Another great game to play, but who am I to tell you. Figure it out for yourself. Alabama.- DarkStation

If sports franchises are wondering what they need to do for their next release they should pay a lot of attention to what Visual Concepts has done with the NBA 2K franchise. More than any other game on the market NBA 2K12 has managed to bring the sport to life better then we have ever seen before. Needless to say NBA 2K12 has gone back to back, and I can't wait to see if they can do a three-peat.- DarkStation

Ultimately, the issue with Rage is that while it is not a bad game, it just doesn't live up to the hype.- DarkStation

My advice would be to rent Rage, it can be completed within a weekend and has a few great moments, just keep your expectations to a minimum.- DarkStation

It is not a game for everyone, it is not even a game for most, but for those who want a challenging, deep, role playing game that doesn't pander to a mainstream audience and pushes you as far as you can go then you'll be in for a treat, but be prepared to die!- DarkStation

That was the last game I played before I wrote the review but really it's not all that uncommon in the game. FIFA 12 is an amazing game of soccer. There were so many times that I would sit back awe struck at the action on screen. If you have any interest in soccer, do yourself a favor and pick up this game.- DarkStation

EA seems to have figured out what NBA Jam was missing last year and went ahead and fixed it this time. Though battling the AI is fun, it's centered so heavily around playing with people, comparing scores and just having an arcade-style experience from the comfort of your living room that they finally seem to understand it- and if they can fix some niggling issues and get online working right, this game runs very close to perfect.- DarkStation

As a whole, Hector: Badge of Carnage is an amusing little game that would hold some appeal to those who enjoy crass humor and simplistic gameplay. However, the game's shtick gets old after awhile, the jokes getting tired as time goes on.- DarkStation

Sure, the game is tepid in some spots and the steep price and lack of any multiplayer options does sting a bit, but provided you haven't grown tired of this tried-and-true formula then Orcs Must Die can definitely provide some hours of silly, unrelenting fun.- DarkStation

It's the kind of game that ends with someone punching a woman in the face. The kind of game where good guys don't look at explosions. The kind of game that results in an absolute, amazing sense of chaos when it can get all 4 players in and, despite a few flaws, it's the kind of game that reminds you that games don't have to be high art, philosophical ideals, branching paths and morality systems.- DarkStation

Train Simulator 2012 has its audience that will appreciate everything the game has to offer. Train enthusiasts will be able to look past the graphics and solely focus on the fact that this game offers an unrivaled simulation. However, every other player that either casually likes trains or is unenthused by locomotives will find Train Simulator 2012 to be an interesting concept that is easy to get into, but is often too complicated and dry to offer up more than a few hours of meaningful gameplay.- DarkStation

There are too many strategy games out right now to warrant giving A Game of Thrones: Genesis a try. With games out there like Starcraft 2, Civilization V, and Total War: Shogun 2 it just isn't viable to play Genesis when it feels stale and unfinished. Even for fans of the books or show it just isn't a good enough game, even in the fan service perspective, to go out and spend $40 on. Do yourself a favor and read the books, then go play a better strategy game.- DarkStation

The argument has been made a lot in the video game industry. Which is better five hours of exceptional gameplay or twenty hours of good gameplay? Don't worry about that with X-Men Destiny it's not only short but it's just flat out a bad game. Unless you want easy achievement points there are far too many great titles this holiday to waste your time with this one.- DarkStation

It is great that Xbox 360 and PS3 owners can now experience Resident Evil 4 but it is a shame that more effort was not put into it to make it stand out. As it is, there is really no reason for this version to exist as it does not bring anything new to the package.- DarkStation

Rugby Would Cup 2011 is a poor game. Poorly made, poorly executed, and lackluster title, that causes an insatiable need to cleanse oneself after being played. It's not a top tier game, and shouldn't be regarded as one, so just leave it be and no one will get hurt.- DarkStation
