While the visuals are nowhere on par with the Xbox 360 or the PS3 version of the game and the shooting mechanics can leave you begging for your controller at times, shooter fans looking for a genuine Call of Duty experience on the DS should give this game a serious look.

This game has a little bit of everything for gamers who enjoy puzzles, fun combat and two player co-op pleasure. With so much excitement I can almost guarantee that you will love this game.

With easy to pick up and play controls, some pretty stylish graphics, good sound, challenging single player and an enjoyable multiplayer experience, you really can’t go wrong with it.

Blue Dragon Plus for the DS is a fairly solid real-time strategy RPG that should please most fans of the genre.

Once you get past that initial inclination to just run in with smoking guns and barrels, Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway offers up a great experience and stands as a solid game.

As close to golf you're going to get this winter. The only thing missing from this one are the beverages, the golf carts, and the camaraderie between friends.

Tripwire has created a very awesome game. They succeeded in making a realistic, strategic, first-person shooter. It isn't a game designed with a single-player campaign in mind. It isn't for people wanting a twitchy, run-and-gun FPS. It's designed for PC gamers who want a complex shooter.

For those that enjoy karaoke, and own Xbox 360, Lips is a solid purchase.

With stylish graphics, amazingly addictive music, and ability to play it in short spurts, all this makes it a great game for those on the go.

At the end of the day there is really nothing here to convince a newcomer that the 8-bit era was great, but for those who remember any of it, Mega Man 9 is the experience of the year and is hopefully only the first of many more to come.

James Bond 007: Blood Stone is a game that will surprise many. While the recent release of Goldeneye for the Wii has stolen some of the spotlight away from Blood Stone, the overall package in Blood Stone is good as there is plenty to offer for 007 fans.

Overall, Rango for the Xbox 360 is one of the better, if not the best, movie based titles released this year. Whether it be platforming sequences, frantic third person shooter chaos, simple puzzle solving elements or stealth sequences where you are avoiding detection, Rango is an entertaining game for young and older fans of the tiny chameleon. While the lack of a cooperative mode and some wonky camera controls are disappointments, the overall Rango package is still very good and is a must buy for those who enjoyed the movie.

I would have to say that even with its shortcomings, the Wii version of Call of Duty: Black Ops is a great game that will provide hours of play, particularly online.

On its own MLB 08: The Show is a great game but when compared to last years version it feels more like a glorified expansion pack rather then a full game that made a lot of improvements.

Sing It: Party Hits has a great set list featuring a variety of popular artists and Disney Channel favourites and will cater to a wide variety of individuals.

The level design is somewhat the same as other incarnations of the title. The moderately spruced up and polished graphics really make this effort a bit of a disappointment.

Let's hope that next time around Nintendo adds some much needed wireless multiplayer to breathe extended life into this game.

Kirby Super Star Ultra is a solid port of a 16-bit original.

MLB 09: The Show continues a long run of consistently well done ball games for the PS2 but it still pales in comparison to the next-gen version.

Quantum of Solace proves that licensed games are not always badly made games.

The Conduit has definitely opened the doors for future greatness in the first person shooter genre, but its downfalls, especially the repetitive and boring gameplay have kept it from becoming a must have title that it was projected to be.

WALL•E makes a very positive impact on the PS2, especially given that the systems hardware is well beyond its prime.

At the end of the day, except for a few graphical drawbacks, Skate It is a solid skateboarding game for the Wii and will make an excellent game for any fan of sport.

While Starfy may not offer up much of challenge for experienced gamers, younger and novice DS gamers alike will undoubtedly enjoy this first taste of the Starfy franchise.

It's definitely better than your average hack n' slash game but the wonky AI will probably frustrate you to no end.

In the end Blur deserves a close look, especially by those racing fans out there looking for something a bit different.

Control is generally good and the sound really helps out. Unfortunately, I cannot overlook the sometimes overly sensitive camera and the instances when the aforementioned control does become confusing.

I also think that the omission of a save feature also a big disappointment considering what kind of work can go into making music.
