It is shallow, but it is a party game meant for four players to have fun beating each other senseless (in the game of course).

Visually, Monsters vs. Aliens is a solid looking game and features some of the best looking Dreamworks animated characters experienced on a next-generation console to date.

Even though some things were annoying or repetitive it is still a good game. As far as graphics, sound, and gameplay I was quite pleasantly pleased.

It is a decent game with many strong points but some of you more seasoned gamers won’t have the patience for Barry and his Bee buzzing ways.

Definitely a pretty game to look at. Unfortunately some noticeable control issues and the distinct feel that it was rushed out door for the holiday season hamper what could have been a very rewarding experience.

So is RACE Pro a Gran Turismo or Forza killer? Well no it’s not, but when you take a look at one cool hard fact, and that is the budget cost of the game, I can honestly say RACE Pro is great bang for the buck.

Hard core space simmers will be turned off by the arguably slow action, but the more "I'm the captain" trekkies might like the added options for controlling your ship.

Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice is solid game for the PSP and it is a fun little game for gaming on the go.

Overall Pain is a very addictive game that not only looks and controls well, but it also demonstrates how the Havok physics engine can be utilized for some pure gaming craziness.

After three years it is my honest opinion that Sony’s series needs a shot in the arm to take it to a new level as there are still some computer AI issues that need to be worked out.

Stubbs the Zombie: Rebel Without a Pulse is for the gamer looking for some mindless fun with tons of carnage.

The control scheme is very confusing and comes with a very tough learning curve. Slowdown at key points in game play was also a reoccurring problem.

G-Force is a movie based game that really took me by surprise. With some solid visuals, a neat 3D mode, good sound, and gameplay to match, the only real flaw is that the levels can feel the same which can make some of your time seem bland.

Although SuperNOVA 2 is an instant party in box allowing me to find a new appreciation for this type of game I can’t help but think it maybe too much of the same for DDR veterans out there.

Overall I can't help but recommend this game, especially for those that have not played the original on the DS/DSi.

Wii Sports is all about showing what Nintendo's newest console an do in terms of innovation and making gaming accessible to everyone and overall it does a great job of this.

In its simplicity, Splatterhouse remains faithful to its arcade roots, offering modern gamers a fresh take on a classic franchise minus the time limits and limited lives of arcade play.

Although it lacks some depth that other popular fighters have, one will still have fun with this game.

I came away from Nascar 2011 impressed. I think part of this was that I had zero expectations of the game going in but it is a fun, accessible video game version of the sport. Hardcore Nascar fans might find room for improvement but as a decently featured entry into Nascar it is a worthy first effort.

The user menus and interface are done amazingly well on given the small screen with limited controls. This game is definitely not for the casual gamer but if you give it a chance its merits can be large and rewarding.

Overall Up for the Xbox 360 is a decent experience with the only drawback being that it is so much like other movie tie-in games, with no innovation or new features to compliment the game.

While the gameplay is pretty solid, control issues and visual glitches take away from some of the fun.

With fast-paced gameplay and a slick tag-based combat system the style of play can be quite appealing to all fighting game fans, casual and hardcore alike.

Blue Dragon is a good RPG; it is just not a great one.

There is no doubt that Animal Crossing: City Folk is a good game, however it is only good for those that have never played the past games before.

Overall Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree is a pretty good first entry of the Touch Generations onto Nintendo’s Wii.

For most casual players I would steer them towards their local video store, but for fans of this genre I would most likely tell them to pick up and buy this game.

If you are a fan of the movie and own a DS, Napoleon Dynamite: The Game is pretty much a must buy.

Mario Super Sluggers is a decent game, but is lacks any significant improvement over the GameCube version it is supposed to replace.

For the price it's not bad for being a multiplayer-only title, it's just that nothing about Breach is particularly noteworthy.

Unfortunately average sound, extremely short gameplay and lack of a multiplayer keeps this from being all it could have been.

With improved graphics, solid sound and pretty good gameplay, the new control and re-imagined levels make for a game that is much more superior from the original.

Although Blacksite: Area 51 is a pretty good game it just doesn’t have the legs to make it one of those great experience.

It also captures the tension and wit in a lot of the real life games, but unfortunately not enough to make me play this title with any regularity.

An enjoyable point and click adventure that has a few quirks that stop it from being a great game. With a short length and linear style to it, the game really is over too quickly.

The shortness of the game doesn't give it very much replay value.

Worth picking up as the gameplay is addictive and quite enjoyable.

The rest is sort of cookie cutter so far and unfortunately the game's poor controls hold Shift 2 back from being a truly great title.

A very simple game to learn and can be a lot of fun. It is a little bit of everything sandwiched together with a little bit of rhythm and blues.

Although the game is short in terms of playability and has some glaring flaws it still earns a joystick up from this reviewer.

The level design doesn't hold a candle to many of the latest games, but Gunman still pulls off a very entertaining single player experience.

Sure, the graphics and gameplay are not over the top, but this is classic Square...what is left to say.

Despite any downsides this game might have, "Strider 2" delivers what it was meant to -- sheer fun.

Shaun White Snowboarding is one of those games that you should go into with little to no expectations.

NHL 2K9 seems to take a step or two backwards in their endeavor to make some changes to the franchise.

The process of learning prolonged dance patterns as the game unfolds can be a bit of a bummer. Still, the story and characters are enteraintaining, the graphics are uplifting, and selection of familiar popular dance tunes will keep you grooving.

This is not a title I would recommend to the average gamer, but it is a unique experience and I found it well worth the time, just for the weirdness factor.

For short spurts Buzz! Master Quiz on the PSP can be entertaining and fun.

Younger gamers and longtime Looney Toons aficionados will undoubtedly get a serious kick out of Duck Dodgers.

If you can get past the "one Starcraft was enough" feeling then you will likely enjoy "Submarine Titians."

Lord of the Rings: War in the North isn't the most innovative or original experience you will play on the Xbox 360, yet the co-op gameplay is very enjoyable. I can certainly see many gamers sitting back with their buddies enjoying mashing away through the games many levels while living out their LOTR fantasies.

From a casual gamer's view, I really wanted to like this game more then I did but I found it difficult to hold my attention to it. That being said, fans of the series may have a little more patience for it then I did but I just can't help but think but nothing can hide the inventible issues one may come across.

The game has all the elements of a great tactical simulator with the emphasis on realism rather then fantasy, but has been mortally wounded by shoddy modeling, its graphic's limitations and all around poor execution.

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 does have some great attributes to it, but the hit and miss mini-games and the somewhat lackluster single player experience hamper the overall score.

While Fatal Fury: Archives Volume 1 might be a cool nostalgia trip for all the old hardcore guys from the arcades, I’m afraid that it just won’t this current generation of gamers.

If you already have MarioKart then I feel like it may be a waste to purchase a game that's a poor copy of Mario's concept.

As far as NBA 08 on the PS3 is concerned it continues to fall short of other great b-ball games on the system.

For those that enjoy karaoke, or who enjoy SingStar games and own a PS3, SingStar Vol. 2 is most likely a no-brainer and you might well treat yourself.

Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party is yet another solid entry into the very populated mini-game genre market.

Although not a bad game, Battlefield 2: Modern Combat did not live up to my expectations. There is nothing original about the game and in many ways I felt that this was a poor man's GRAW.

Overall, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is game that will please its target audience. But for those that do not consider themselves Ice Age fans, or fall out of the under 12-year old age bracket, then Dawn of the Dinosaurs will inevitably disappoint.

I was surprised at how much content there was as I expected it to be very quick and easy, catering to its target market. However, it has a lot of meat to it.

Any Disney fanatic will no doubt want to add this to their library of games, but the diehard racing fan may want to approach this title with caution.

The slow gameplay and the sluggish controls make NHL 2K10 a struggle to play, and it is too easy to score as the defensive AI is lacking.

The graphics are very nice, the sound is average and there may be some problems but the gameplay is quite good.

Calling Army of Two a poor mans Gears of War may be unfair, but the comparison is a reality as the game falls short on so many levels.

For those that enjoy karaoke, or those who are Abba fans and own a PS3, SingStar Abba is most likely a no-brainer of a purchase.

Mirror’s Edge for the Xbox 360 is an enjoyable game and has several heart pounding moments scattered throughout its’ nine levels.

A good showcase of the PS3’s graphical ability but the controls felt too rushed and made very little use of the new features of the SIXAXIS controller.

I suggest you get some chew and have some shine, then have a seat at your computer and throw up some dirt.

For those that enjoy karaoke, or those who are Abba fans and still clinging to your PS2, SingStar Abba is most likely a no-brainer of a purchase.

This is one of those situations where the blemishes are outweighed by the enjoyability.

One might be quick to pass a title like this off as an attempt to cash in on a popular TV show. Heck, we see it all the time. There is real value here though....The game is an extension of the show in that it provides a new way of enabling people to lose weight and this deserves praise.

Overall I truly enjoyed playing this game and strongly recommend it as a new title for the 3Ds. The gameplay keeps evolving enough to keep you interested as you continue through and the graphics and sound keep you immersed in the world. Again my issue with the lack of explanation of the characters and history brings the game down for me a bit, but not enough for me to stop playing. This title is a great pick especially if you are a fan of platform adventure games and definitely if you are already into the Rayman series.

It isn't for everyone. But it is definitely a lot more user friendly than other examples of its genre, and, for the price, is potentially a good introduction to this sort of game.

With some pretty solid graphics, adequate sound, and some surprising gameplay elements, this game definitely will surprise many; however, the difficulty level may be a little too much for the wee little ones.

Unfortunately Spawn does not hold enough meat to keep me satisfied.

For those that enjoy karaoke, fans of the SingStar franchise, and who love the majority of the pop tunes identified above, SingStar Pop Vol. 2 is a solid purchase especially if you haven’t picked up a PS3 yet.

Gormiti offers various gameplay elements such as platforming, basic combat, cooperative play (always good) and puzzles. Older gamers likely won't find much satisfaction with this one but I think it's pretty obvious this one's geared towards the younger crowd.

Although the playability of this title can still be questioned Sega is to be commended for attempting to add extras to lengthen the time a gamer plays this title.

Based on my time with the game I would venture to say that younger audiences and fans of the Shrek movies will enjoy playing as the green Ogre and all his friends more so then your average mature gamer.

Overall, Split/Second for the PSP is a decent arcade racer for gaming on the go. Sure it has its share of issues that include some sluggish controls, rubber-band and collision detection concerns. Yet there is plenty of bang for your buck and fans of the next generation version of the game should enjoy this scaled back version.

While no single portion of the game is “best in class”, the sum of the parts is respectable.

Considering this is EA Sports first crack at an MMA game, the overall results are good.

With complete single-player and multiplayer modes, it offers a wide-variety of gameplay.

Those looking for a deep action RPG will have to look elsewhere though as Petpet Adventures falls a little short in the storyline and balance to really make this a must have title.

It’s a good game, there’s simply one question that I have: Why was this game made now, when Aladdin has been all but forgotten?

There is no question that the MLB 2K franchise is now headed in the right direction as this year’s instalment is more entertaining than years past.

James Cameron’s new Avatar movie may revolutionize the movie industry with new 3D effects, but the game leaves a little bit to be desired.

If there is any fault here, it is that the Mission Mode is shorter then one would hope for, and the visuals don't take enough advantage of the 3D capabilities.

All in all, keeping the same Sims formula may keep old fans satisfied but in my eyes changing things up a bit more would have made this title much more interesting and successful.

Overall, Just Dance 3 is one of the better dance games on the Xbox 360 Kinect.

New Play Control! Mario Power Tennis is the exact same game that was previously released on the GameCube so many years ago.

The graphics suffer a little from a lack of balance, the sound is quite good, though some sounds are out of place, and the gameplay, while mostly nothing new, is well done and fun.

Overall Spider-Man: Friend or Foe for the Xbox 360 is not a bad game but is game which will likely become bargain bin material sooner than later.

Regardless if there is any truth to the belief Brain Age is a great game of puzzles and logic that will keep fans of these exercises playing for quite sometime.

With future patches, and possible future downloadable content, I know I for one will be playing SOCOM for a long time to come.

For those still clinging on to their PS2, MLB Power Pros 2008 is a decent purchase but I would encourage you to rent the game beforehand as it probably isn't for everyone.
