Anyone with a fond taste for such arcade classics as Qix, Pac-Man and the more recent Cubixx are likely to thoroughly enjoy escapeVektor, whilst anyone with an eye for action puzzle games in general will equally be hooked.- Cubed3

With the same level of cleverness as its predecessor, Toki Tori 2, or rather its inceptors at Two Tribes, smashed another hit on a Nintendo console. It's absolutely beautiful, sounds great, and gives great value for money.- Cubed3

A thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish, HarmoKnight offers a simple concept to understand and enough challenge and variety to keep players involved.- Cubed3

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is the multiplatform title that Wii U owners deserve: one that has been given time and dedication by a developer with excellent technical skills, which shows the Wii U is more than just a late entry into last generation hardware.- Cubed3

Lola's Math Train is a great little educational title on the Nintendo 3DS eShop and will help youngsters develop their numerical skills in a variety of ways that both entertain and educate at the same time whilst proving to be neither patronising nor frustrating. Its focus is clear and it delivers in a smart way that will hopefully keep children on the right track.- Cubed3

Some may find the lack of challenge from both the enemies and puzzles a bit of a shame, and it could perhaps have done with a bigger mansion to explore freely, but from start to finish, Luigi's Mansion 2 is nothing but pure enjoyment, full of that wonderful Nintendo charm and magic that has made so many of its games such a joy to play over the years.- Cubed3

Trine 2's tailor-made adventure will delight platform and puzzle fans alike, and the game becomes a surprisingly viable option for multiplayer bashes, too. Not the longest of games, but a beautiful ride while it lasts.- Cubed3

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is the definitive version of the Monster Hunter 3 collection, blending together elements from more recent instalments into a cross-platform package.- Cubed3

In trying to distance itself a little bit from the formula that 2D Metroidvanias have now stuck to for the past 15 years, Mirror of Fate succeeded in most areas but falls a little bit too short in others.- Cubed3

Runner 2 is as good as platforming gets, and the entire product is an excellent value proposition. Moreover, it is FUN with a capital F. That's the highest compliment we can give the game.- Cubed3

As one of the highlights in the Nintendo Wii U software library to date, LEGO City Undercover blends together a large, compelling open world to explore with fun, suitably cheesy action sequences that can appeal to both young and old.- Cubed3

This Wii U iteration does not bring anything particularly special to the table, but any fans of the sport that do dive in will be treated to a superbly impressive, and accurate, simulation of the popular pastime.- Cubed3

With this being Tecmo Koei's second game for the Wii U, it's unacceptable for it to make similar mistakes to those made with Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper. Not only that, but this game appears to be less enjoyable than its predecessor, Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage.- Cubed3

With The Cave, SEGA and Double Fine have brought the world a very intriguing character-switching puzzle adventure that glows thanks to its superb presentation values and dark humour. Unfortunately, though, there are some gameplay frustrations that mar the experience, which proves to be a crying shame given how potentially great it could have been.- Cubed3

While it certainly isn't an abysmal game, thanks to a few redeeming factors, it's obviously a massive disappointment coming from Sakaguchi who had made some great classics in the Final Fantasy series and who later gave us the incredibly good The Last Story on Wii.- Cubed3

Heroes of Ruin is an average game, with much better alternatives out there. The daily challenges are nothing compared to the daily and weekly puzzles found in the Professor Layton games and they do not work as planned. For 3DS owners looking for a game with a lengthy campaign with some form of online play included, there are games that are worthier of the money.- Cubed3

It manages to further refine a lot of what was already made with its predecessor, and any fan of the genre should give it a try. However, it cannot be stressed enough that one should play Pullblox as well.- Cubed3

Unfortunately, the opportunity to take advantage of the launch day madness of Wii U ultimately led to the quality of Game Party Champions suffering considerably. Whilst some of the games included are moderate fun at times, the majority are either too basic or, in some cases, even feel slightly broken and unresponsive. With many other alternatives already available, there is absolutely no reason to touch this.- Cubed3

2 Fast 4 Gnomz is a very solid, challenging and fast-paced 2D platformer with a quirky atmosphere and definitely a good purchase at £4.49. While the game won't last very long, it's a very fun experience all the way through that's worth checking out, particularly for fans of Bit.Trip Runner. QubicGames has another hit to add to its roster, after the excellent AiRace and AiRace: Tunnel on DSiWare.- Cubed3

Ikachan is a wonderfully crafted game and a fitting homage to the NES era of gaming and to Metroid-esque game design. The art and sound design are wonderful. The gameplay is responsive and fun. The only question is whether one hour of gameplay is enough to justify the asking price. For many the answer will be yes.- Cubed3

Wreck-It Ralph is a solid platform adventure with a few enjoyable character-swapping puzzles thrown in. Unfortunately, it is over before it begins, lacks any multiplayer, skimps on the extras, and generally runs out of steam in the creative stakes. Whilst competent for the most part, it really does feel like a missed opportunity, especially given the amount of cameos that made it into the film but are absent here.- Cubed3

50 Classic Games on Nintendo 3DS shows that cerasus.media definitely knows how to collect an intriguing bunch of family favourites from over the years. However, with no multiplayer options, no online features, and in some cases no reason to even challenge certain 'attractions,' it means that what was potentially a must-have compilation of classics instead turns out to be a mish-mash of styles that merely passes the time but lacks the draw for long-term play with friends and family.- Cubed3

Rabbids Rumble may not have turned into the Smash Bros. copycat some thought it might be, but it is a very enjoyable mini-game experience with some engaging Pokémon-esque battles included. Headstrong Games shows how versatile its developers are by from something as raucous as House of the Dead to this extremely light-hearted, slapstick-style affair that does Ubisoft's Rabbids brand proud.- Cubed3

Hotel Transylvania is a tightly woven platform adventure full of accurate jumps, clever abilities, and brings the characters from the amusing movie to life. However, constant back-tracking and uninventive fetch missions mar the experience somewhat.- Cubed3

Without doubt, Mass Effect 3: Special Edition is easily one of the best offerings on the Wii U right now, but it simply cannot be stressed enough that players must seek out the two previous games in the series before playing this one.- Cubed3

Whilst moderately addictive at first, Gogo's Crazy Bones does not reach the same level of addictiveness as Angry Birds, with not as much variety included for the higher price. The concept works in principle, but sadly some of the allure of the mobile phone-based title it sources is lost in this DS version of the theme.- Cubed3
