It is by no means perfect but it is a polished title with no major bugs or glitches and with its budget price tag it’s worth getting, particularly if you fancy some mini-game fun for a change.- Console Monster

Epic Mickey 2: The Power of two is a real mixed bag. While some of the original's problems have been addressed many of the issues still remain making for a somewhat frustrating experience. The look and feel is back, as are the great characters and locations with some great new content thrown in. Unfortunately however for every step forward Epic Mickey 2 takes, it also takes a step back with issues both new and old. Add to this a flawed co-op AI system and you end up with a competent sequel if not a great one.- Console Monster

A brilliantly-designed title that players can easily sit down and relax to. Whilst it lacks in terms of content, the title can be enjoyed in short bursts and the donation to charity makes the Xbox Live Arcade title a deserving purchase, especially at the 400 Microsoft Points price tag.- Console Monster

While no technical marvel or innovation has been accomplished here, I enjoyed my play through of Velvet Assassin. It’s not trying to be anything other than a stealth game and I found that charming with today’s titles attempting to do so much more than needed.- Console Monster

With a little extra love in the practice mode, some online love and character development, KoFXII could have been a charming fighter for old and new fans alike.- Console Monster

It’s a shame that LucasArts and developers Day 1 Studios did not nail the blend of terrain deforming and first-person combat. The moments out of combat when the terrain is used for puzzles works fantastic and the developers certainly deserve a pat on the back for developing such a complex game mechanic.- Console Monster

The presentation is great and if you just fancy a quick game of fun simple mindless NFL (and have some money to burn), then it's a good choice. Hardcore fans would be best to stay with Madden 10 though.- Console Monster

If you are looking for a quick fix of top down shooter shenanigans and you happen to be moderately blind or ignorant of the other titles on offer, Rocketmen: Axis of Evil may just be worth a look.- Console Monster

As a fan of fighting games in general, with fond memories of the Mortal Kombat series, I find it a shame that the new direction that the developers have taken one of the most renowned series in gaming as one of shallowness, filled with generic design flaws.- Console Monster

EA advertised the game as a balanced fighter using a ‘rock, paper, scissors’ format. Unfortunately the game isn’t balanced, it’s not much fun to play for anything more than a few minutes at a time, and the computer AI is evil.- Console Monster

The issues are, to be perfectly fair, countless. One could nitpick problems forever and write a novel regarding them, but stepping into a game of this style you have to expect a little roughness – and unfortunately that is found in spades.- Console Monster

If the developers had given this game another six to eight months in development, the game could have been a solid shooter; unfortunately it ends up just being an average one.- Console Monster

AITD is one of the more difficult games to review that I've looked at recently, because it does so much right, but then it also does so much wrong as well. It truly is a hit and miss affair.- Console Monster

Overall Proving Ground has enough content and challenges to keep any Tony Hawk enthusiast busy, with an impressive online mode, and plenty of ways to complete the game, but for others it may just come across as the same tired game in another guise.- Console Monster

All in all I am really disappointed in Need for Speed Undercover. EA have focussed more on the cut-scenes and sound of the game and have forgotten about what actually made the Need for Speed series fun many years ago.- Console Monster

Terrifying nights aside, Saw II: Flesh & Blood is perfect for any Saw fan as a week's rental. While the game does challenge you, you'll be able to complete it within that time due to the lack of multiplayer both online and off. It is an improvement on last year's effort however; I just hope the games don't follow the never-ending movie route.- Console Monster

For children, this is definitely a winner. For fans of casual, laid back gaming involving owls, again, I can recommend this. If you're expecting value for money, however, then you'd be far better off looking elsewhere. It's a fun thumb-twiddling experience but your feathers will be itching for something new before long.- Console Monster

Overall Turok is mediocre at best, offering a somewhat engaging experience with impressive sound, average visuals and some solid replayability if achievement hunting is your passion. The dinosaurs save Touchstones effort, from what would have been a very dull FPS without them. Dinosaurs are still cool.- Console Monster
