Some steps in the right direction have been made, and with a little refining, the 2005 version should be competitive. Still, you probably will prefer "NCAA Football" over this.

The game does suffer from a bit of a slowdown when there are numerous zombies on-screen.

The biggest problem I found was control. Nag all you want about the AI, its not that big a deal. But I hardly ever felt like I was in true control of the car that I was driving.

A big problem I’ve had with the game is load times. You can walk across large plots of land with no slowdown whatsoever. But enter a house, and be prepared to sit for a while waiting for the game to load.

I can't say the controls are all that precise. While the controls are designed for anyone to pick them up and play (unlike some flight sims where you need to look at a manual before you turn your plane to starboard), they just don't have a good feel to them.

This is about the hardest game I've ever played. Rarely do I get frustrated at a game, but I found myself constantly pausing this game and walking away to blow off steam.

There are a couple of very ingenious puzzles, but these are few and far between. Often you find yourself wishing you had to do something more interesting, as the game gets repetitive.

The lack of gameplay ingenuity, long load times and crappy graphics will turn most off. But Simpsons fans will love the game anyway.

Even the fans of the show may want to "try-before-you-buy" because there really isn’t much to do after beating the game once.
