Just a hodgepodge of a game that is marred by its overly ambitious efforts to be something unique.

Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War is a game that any player at any skill level can get the hang of in a few minutes, but be warned that the last part of each mission is a killer - literally.

Shadowgrounds is a fun game in the old-school, third-person shooter tradition. It's not innovative by any means but if you're looking for a shooter that's not totally mindless then you might want to give this one a shot. Pun intended.

Had WinBack 2 been released in 2002/2003, it would have been far better received but as a full-priced game released in 2006 it has to be held to the same standards as other top notch software and it falls short.

Instead of a sense of "been there, done that" it will be a wave of comforting nostalgia, like a sea breeze taking you back to days gone by. OutRun 2006 is a lot of fun, it's just that you have to know exactly what to expect from the series.

Once the novelty of the new graphics wears off, we're stuck with a 20-year old arcade game that I'm not so sure I would label a classic in the first place.

The lack of an online tournament mode did not go unnoticed and it's something that needs to be addressed in next year's version - and considering how good this game is, you can be rest assured the series will continue.

Tokyo Xtreme Racer DRIFT very similar to the Midnight Club series but less dimensional. It's priced under twenty bucks but I've seen it available on the net for less than ten - and frankly it might not even be worth that much.

FFXI is a very hard sell to anyone that is new to the franchise. The easiest word to describe it is drudgery, what with its excessive traveling times, difficult leveling structure, and level requirements for anything cool.

Where Dreamfall excels is in telling a story. The imaginative characters and locations are truly memorable and create a unique experience that makes the ride more enjoyable than the destination.

Taken as a whole, NeoWave is a classic fighting game - but it's essentially a remake of a classic fighting game. The fact that it doesn't offer many new features in the gameplay makes it appear like nothing more than a cash grab.

With no multi-player modes and no incentives to replay the single-person mode there's no real reason to purchase this game. If this game had been released in the 90s, it would have been highly recommended but we expect a lot more these days regardless of the price.

A great game as far as the gameplay mechanics go but it really skimps on the razzle and dazzle. We are most likely to be forgiving considering that this is a handheld game but we can't help but expect more because we know it's possible.
