Brainseed Factory had a cool idea but failed utterly in terms of gameplay design. [03/2016, p.51]

The concept of an experimental, interactive music album was great, and the fact that musicians associated with Epica, Within Temptation, Kamelot or Asking Alexandria were involved, was very promising and impressive. Unfortunately, the game turned out to be an amateurish mess. The whole gameplay is very poorly executed, the story is cheap and approaches difficult subjects without a trace of finesse, and the voice acting is simply horrible. The worst part is, the music is okay at best. [08/2021, p.54]

I had an impression that the developers intentionally butchered Tony Hawk’s classic formula in every way imaginable. For the last couple of years Activision has been trying hard to finish this series off and it seems it finally succeeded. [12/2015, p.58]

It seems someone forgot to develop a game before publishing it, because MTUS lacks content so desperately that it looks like a mini game from Mario Party. [02/2016, p.63]

This game is a joke, and not a funny one. The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is shockingly ugly, awfully designed and annoying in its many inconsistencies. Let’s just forget this happened.

You spend your petrol on 30 seconds of racing and then wait a couple of hours for your tank to be refilled. “No Limits”? Is the title supposed to be a joke? [12/2015, p.74]

I can’t believe the studio behind Project CARS and Need for Speed: Shift developed such an atrocity. I guess this is what happens when you’re assigned a laughably tight budget, have to spend half of it on voice acting by movie stars, and the publisher wants the game to imitate a triple AAA title. Kingpin: Reloaded is a laughable version of the cult shooter from the 90s. The developers worked over three years on it and managed to botch pretty much everything there was to botch. Simply put, it’s one of the worst remakes ever made and it deserves cement shoes.

I suspect that if I took the ridiculous money needed to buy Raven’s Cry and instead spent it on a crate of pins, chewed them all up, swallowed them, followed up with salt, washed everything down with lemon juice and then excreted, I would have as much fun as I had in the Caribbeans by Reality Pump. I admit I was fooled by the marketing campaign and hoped for an indie survival horror gem. Stray Souls turned out to be a nightmare but for completely different reasons than I expected. It’s an extremely poor game that should have never seen the light of day and I’m flabbergasted that no one – neither the developers nor the publisher nor the investors – said THAT’S ENOUGH at some point.

What a prophetic title. Since the first announcement 5 years ago Ride to Hell has come a long way just to reach the hell of deserved mockery and low scores. Stay clear of this game as if it was a puddle of oil on the highway. [CD-Action 09/2013, p.54]
