A lack of real time multiplayer and repetitive music and visuals cut down this overall very fun arcade-y racer.

This game is fun. It’s a great way to while away the commute to work, kill a few minutes waiting for tardy friends or lose yourself in after a long day at work.

Worms Battlegrounds is still an entertaining and fun game, to say the least.

It’s a shame then that a game which is so well designed is hit by a pretty massive flaw, which is its length.

Overall GRID Autosport has taken a step backwards, but in a good way.

Air Conflicts: Vietnam is a game that just can’t justify its own existence. It’s got a few clever ideas, but it doesn’t have the scope or budget to threaten any of the amazing flight sims you could play right now for far, far less money.

EA have got their hands on UFC, and for their first release have promised to deliver a complete revamped engine; from the physics to damage modifiers, the fatigue system to the artificial intelligence. This game packs a serious wallop in terms of its features!

Overall, this is probably the best game in the Tropico series, and one of the best city builders currently available.

Overall, I quite enjoyed Bloodbath. It has a few rough edges with its clumsy controls and lack of splitscreen or story.

At only £9.99 retail you do get a decent amount of entertainment for your buck, but ultimately Water Park Tycoon will disappoint you with it’s lack of content.

All in all, it’s a visually good game, easy to pick up and worth a try not only for fans but also those who like adventure games.

The developers missed a trick here. In my opinion, the game could have been so much more quite easily. The flying is brilliant, allowing you to bank so harshly and attack means that we could have had a game that set island against island in numerous battles. However, we are stuck with an ok racer dragged to mediocrity by idea of the “Dragon Games”.

What delighted me most about Pixel Puzzles was the gentle reminder of how much I actually missed doing a jigsaw puzzle.

Ionball 2 is a really well polished and generally decent Breakout game, there’s enough interesting ideas and customisation in the active and passive upgrades to give you a few playthroughs and still have you enjoy it every time. If you’re interested in a little bit of brick breaking action you can’t go wrong here.

Ascendant is a decent brawler and you will have fun watching the amazing artwork of your character slicing his way through a marauding horde of enemies. The game is not for the faint-hearted though, as death is final and a lot of people will (like me) get annoyed far too easily due to this.

My time with Nun Attack: Yuki’s Silent Quest was rather short lived. Ninety minutes of playing the same levels multiple times soon became a chore and I longed to play the games that inspired Yuki’s Silent Quest instead.

Wolfenstein: The New Order feels like a game which really shouldn’t work. It transplants the feeling of a ’90s first person shooter into 2014; yet also has enough sense to mix in elements of modern game design to ensure it doesn’t feel antiquated. It is an action game which is fully functional as a stealth game. Its narrative is equal measures serious and ludicrous. Its lead character is a superman who feels vulnerable.

If you are an Ultimate Team die-hard then maybe 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil won’t be for you, but if you are a FIFA fan and excited about the upcoming World Cup then definitely give this one a try. The only thing there is to dislike about it is the new podcasters that you can have talking during the menus.

Taken as a fun Friday night of gaming, it’ll give you an excellent horror fix, leaving you shaken and strangely exhausted from the episodes of sustained suspense.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch is a good time filler, to put on whist you have a spare fifteen twenty minutes. But I wouldn’t recommend paying the full asking price for something thats gimmick wears off pretty fast and leaves you longing for “those good parts”.

If you are a fan of the WW2 strategy game genre then I would highly recommend this game as the multiplayer holds many hours of entertainment. The biggest let down for the game is the single player. However, I found myself glued to the seat with such a strong multiplayer, and I can see many people enjoying it.

The more control the game gives to you, the more fun you can have with Wildlife Park 3. Between building the perfect enclosure for each animal, keeping an eye on what’s available to you and making sure that your park is properly staffed and well maintained, you could easily lose hours to this without realising. The characters in the game may be annoying and unlikable, but the game itself is charming enough to hold my attention, and hopefully, yours too.

A great puzzler with an added extra benefit – which I liked. If a particular level has you stuck then the games option to skip will be your saving grace. Which was a relief as a certain level was beginning to grind my gears.

There’s a lot of cool and interesting things there, but it never moves beyond a tech demo. I can appreciate the work that has gone into it, especially on the audio side, but the experience on the whole felt a bit barren and empty.
