I'm not sure if this sequel was necessary, but if it's positive or negative, it's already here. Although there's many things that are similar in quality and that I enjoyed the same way as in Far Cry 5, this game is not as good. But it's not as bad as the three DLC from last year.

Despite having a frustrating combat system, #Scorn manages to be an extremely interesting horror game that should be given at least one chance. The result may be mixed, but the experience is unique.

Yooka-Laylee is a good classic 3D platformer which is better in its first hours and levels when you are discovering the wide array of activities and challenges that you have in this retro colectathon. The rest of the time you can suffer with some weak design decisions to prolong the time required to complete the game.

A pretty good remastered compilation of Mega Man 7, 8, 9 and 10. Great visuals and audio, and some extras like the challenge mode that makes Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 a nice addition to the collection of all Mega Man fans.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is a pretty solid product but very rough around the edges at the time. It may be a simple expansion for MSFS 2020, but a great career mode saves the day.

SNK Heroines is an enjoyable fighting game that, though many will criticize for its more casual approach, offers an interesting and fun experience. The only issue is its lack of content: from game modes to character roster and scenarios. Its impossible to not look at it as an incomplete title with entertaining gameplay mechanics.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is a decent platformer, it's not great, but it's not the biggest disaster ever either. It comes at a time when platformers are a bit scarce, or at least if we talk about medium or large productions in the industry.

Code Vein is a pretty good clone of Dark Souls, but it's own ideas, dose not work that well.

Destruction AllStars is a game with good ideas that, sadly, lacks enough content to warrant a constant return to this title.

We still miss the Showcase mode and is a flawed game compared to the best sports games in the market, but it's the best edition in the series recently.

Evolve challenges every kind of player and tries to remind us how important and fun playing co-op in video games can be. It also helps us move on from the single player scenario thanks to the online mode. Gather your friends, build your team and get ready for a hunt. Try to survive as long as you can.

If you've never played the original game, I'd recommend giving it a try just to learn more about this beloved icon from the era of video game mascots. Ultimately, if you're not too bothered by the music, you might enjoy it.

It can be difficult to recommend Detective Pikachu Returns, unless you are a Pokémon fan who buys absolutely everything they put in front of them. On the other hand, if you like it more casually, I would say save your money.

The Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition does not reach the level of an MMO or Monster Hunter World, but it offers an adventure unique in the series. Playing in the company of your friends is the best way to experience this job. However, if your acquaintances aren't interested, I think you'd better keep raising money for another game.

The Council is a good attempt to refresh the narrative adventure genre, that starts to feel a little bit too repetitive these days. Although it's not based on a popular intellectual property, it does offer a story full of mystery and some interesting characters.

Park Beyond is a pretty decent amusement park management simulator, because those who are supporters of this type of title are going to love the creativity with which one of these themed centers can be created from scratch. Although for first timers, it could be a bit tricky to tackle at first.

Although it does not end up being as robust an experience as other games of the genre (Planet Coaster, Surviving Mars), Jurassic World Evolution 2 still is a complete game, which solved the weaknesses of its predecessor and wanted to respond to users that are not-so-enthusiastic about the Tycoon resulting in a title that is not complex and quite friendly for the players.

Agents of Mayhem is a good action game with a tremendous generic feeling. Although it is fun to play, sadly it doesn't have anything that makes it shine like other games, even less like those like of the Saints Row series. If you play it you could have a really good time; just don't expect anything outstanding.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 feels more like an expansion than a sequel.Yes, its gameplay feels the same as the first game and has more contents (like characters, moments from the anime or movies, and gameplay modes) that fans will enjoy. However that doesn't saved the game from having many problems that affect its experience, being some of them the same that its predecessor had.

Dynasty Warriors 9 is an interesting new approach to a series that was starting to look stagnant. Albeit its not perfect and has many flaws, the new elements like the open world and State Combo System achieve to offer a new experience that feels fresh, though not in the best possible way.

Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star for Switch could be considered as the best version of the title. Thanks to the technical aspects of the console that let it run with a better resolution in its portable format, it performs better that the one of the Vita. Also and even though it has less framerate in its TV mode, all of its gameplay runs smoothly, the amount enough that make it not be outclassed by the PS4 edition. Also and as an aesthetic bonus, it has all of its DLC from the beginning.

After having an ending from the first episode worthy of the works of George R.R. Martin, here comes the second chapter of Game of Thrones form Telltale Games titled The Lost Lords. The Forrester family must defend their land at no matter what cost and, it seems that there's a light of hope in their battle against the Whitehills, but it won't be easy.

Super Bomberman R is the best multiplayer option right now for every Nintendo Switch owner. Sadly its main flaw is its input lag, that makes the online battles hard to play in some occasions. Still the 8 player on TV is as fun as in every other game of the franchise. Its single player campaign is fun but too short.

God Eater 3 is a good hunting game that could serve as an ideal starting point for those that haven't played these type of games. Having said that, it feels simple and with a lot of wasted potential. It works perfectly but veteran players will not find a lot to do on it aside from enjoying a kinda cliche and post-apocalyptic story with anime design.

Trials Rising is a fun game. There will be those who play it for a while just to see the different ways you can crash or to see its wacky tracks. And there will be who wants to master it's controls and become an expert in the game. This is the game's greatest accomplishment, that it can be fun for different type of players and everyone will have a unique experience with it. However, it will become repetitive rather quickly.

So far, Sunwolf Entertainment shows potential to continue in its quest to gain a foothold in the gamer world, since with its first development it has received constant feedback in the press, which should provide them with the necessary elements to fine-tune the defects and polish their virtues based on the soundtrack and the setting of pre-Columbian cultures.

The narrative on Mafia III is great and exciting, maybe one of the best of the year, same with the attention to little details recreating New Bordeaux and general adjustments to the gameplay of the franchise. We cannot say the same of the general open world structure that gives us repetitive activities to unlock the premium content, in the same way, we're sad to see the final game with a myriad technical issues.

Once again, Signal Studios have succeeded in making a game that combines in a perfect way three genres in one enjoyable experience. It has its flaws in some aspects like in its online mode or presentation, but overall, it offers a really entertaining title that fans of strategic action and tower defense games should try it at least once.
