Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake surpasses Tecmo’s classic original in many aspects, but precisely because of that desire to be better than the game it is based on, it runs into issues we would have loved not to see—particularly the changes at the combat system level and the somewhat unstable performance it shows on consoles. Do we recommend it? Yes, absolutely. Despite the flaws mentioned in this review, it is undoubtedly a game we enjoyed and one we believe you should give a chance. It is currently the most accessible way to experience this horror classic, especially considering the very high price of an original PS2 copy.

While it maintains the flaws of the whole game such as graphics and physics, it provides a decent climax to the story and delivers the basis for a possible Resident Evil 7.

It's surprising how Zen Studios still has fresh additions to the virtual pinball genre. The Magna Save and a new mission selector gave us another addictive pinball table that will satisfy Star Wars fans and pinball enthusiasts.

After two games that suffered from many aspects, Omega Force finally achieved its most successful attempt in making a Musou game that truly captures the essence of One Piece. Even though it has some flaws that avert the title from becoming the best One Piece experiences to date, its content and gameplay make this one of the most enjoyable titles of the series and one that fans should try at least one. Fan-service in all the extension of the word.

Dying Light introduces a new way to see the survival horror genre. It combines aspects of other great games and carries its own soul to demonstrate how a real zombie apocalypse would be in an open world game. Great fast-paced action.

Amplitude on PS4 is a very good return of the PS2 classic cult game that shows us the reason because Harmonix is one of the supreme leaders on rhythm games. It offer us a solid, challenging and addictive gameplay experience that is still fresh after more than a decade of the launch of the original title and looks better than ever on actual gen hardware.

Soul Hackers 2 is a little and simple, but very good Shin Megami Tensei game. It is true that it's level design is pretty bland, but it's music, story, combat and characters, are pretty great.

If you've never tried this alternate franchise in your life, you definitely need to get Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, especially since the individual games are already hard to find. For its part, if you already have all of them in your GBA collection, you are not going to find something from another world.

Finally a good game that does justice to all the lore of Attack of Titan. This Koei Tecmo game is a fast-paced action game that really transmits the essence of the series and does it with a wonderful and attractive presentation. However, and although it looks good, it has some technical problems in its controls that from one time to another difficult the actions the player does. Also, it lacks really interesting game modes that could convince the players to return to it after finishing the main campaign. If you are a fan of the series then you should play this game.

For better or worse, Fire Emblem Warriors is another Musou game that only distinguishes itself by the addition of many elements from the FE series that surprisingly adapt really good to the concept of the genre. Fans of the franchise would be delighted with it; those that aren't, not so much.

If you want a new Pac-Man adventure, you'll definitely have a good time, especially if you have a way to play it portable, an opportunity that's only available on Nintendo consoles. Although there's no problem for those who like to try it on other consoles or a PC.

If you have a PlayStation VR2 sitting around collecting dust, now is the time to get it out. Metro Awakening is going to remind you why it's so special and, above all, different to play with one of these headsets and its futuristic controls. Vertigo Games played it safe with tried-and-true elements from any VR FPS, but it knew how to intrigue in a great way what makes the saga it's representing so special and beloved with a completely new title that adds to its intricate lore. Now, I couldn't tell you that this game is a reason to run out and buy Sony's device, but it is one that contributes to the small offer of titles it has, not to mention that we're talking about a new Metro, something that hasn't happened since 2019 with the sensational Metro Exodus.

Even by carrying the immersive experience of any The Elder Scrolls game, it fails to deliver a strong, solid MMORPG experience. It lacks in many aspects that are quite common in the genre, making the experience incomplete and focused in what every game in the franchise does well.

So, One Piece Odyssey is a game that as an RPG can be tackled without any problem, but I really don't recommend it if you're not interested in the saga, even if you want this to be your gateway. On the other hand, if you're a fan from hell and it doesn't bother you that the genre is turn-based, the invitation to Waford Island is within reach.

The risks within this industry are being calculated more carefully than ever. Major publishers are simply no longer willing to lose millions of dollars in favor of innovation, which, of course, will have a significant impact when it comes to creativity and proposition, terms that will likely become exclusive to the indie scene. Proof of all this are games like Mafia: The Old Country, which was created to be commercially successful rather than to propel the series it belongs to toward greater and better things. 2K Games and Hangar 13 laid out a checklist of what could cause them problems and what was sure to fall flat, resulting in a game that overall feels good, but which I feel will be completely forgotten in a very short period of time.

Rainbow Six Extraction manages to create some unique and interesting concepts, but most of the time it often feels like another generic shooter. This new spinoff just doesn't have anything that makes it stand out from most shooter out there, and I beleive even Siege players won't even be interested in this game for too long.

Chorus is a straightforward yet fun adventure that makes space combat and exploration accessible for everyone. It has some solid combat mechanics, and the voice actors do a good job with their respective characters, but the story, and the overall lore of the game, are just plainly boring and generic.
