A fun, splashy, albeit short and easy game with some great small touches and a hint of sidescrolling nostalgia.- Armchair Empire

The game suffers from slowdown that drags the game to a slowdown, clipping, and worst of all it has a tendency to freeze up, requiring the PS2 to be reset.- Armchair Empire

A solid game, which features exciting gameplay along with an engaging storyline. While it’s a little on the short side, Rogue Trooper is definitely worth checking out.- Armchair Empire

It's got a great story and a well-defined protagonist, the graphics and sound provide a suitable sense of place, but the problem with the "lock" during combat and the funnel quality will more than likely turn some people off.- Armchair Empire

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy won't leave much of a legacy behind but it is a decent game and if you've enjoyed any others in the rich history of this franchise, you should definitely set your sights on it.- Armchair Empire

One of the more interesting and fresh games to come out this year. It's certainly worth your attention since it's so unique and different from a lot of other games currently out.- Armchair Empire

With very good controls transitioned from a PC title onto consoles, Dungeon Siege III has gratifying old-school dungeon crawling combined with RPG elements for ton of hack & slash adventuring fun, especially for gamers that indulge in co-op gameplay.- Armchair Empire

After loving the campaign in Black Ops 2, the single player in Ghosts feels like a step back for the series. The campaign felt tiresome, familiar, predictable and linear. The multiplayer on the other hand, saves the day as the tweaks to the gameplay and the new games modes make this the best multiplayer COD experience to date.- Armchair Empire

Its gameplay isn’t any more innovative than the average action title, and the camera is as ridiculously dysfunctional as the Simpsons family, but the stellar story more than atones for it, as The Simpsons Game is the best Simpsons game to date, bringing Springfield and its denizens to life as never before.- Armchair Empire

For folks looking for a quick and casual experience, this game fits the bill, but for early adopters hoping for a meatier experience to go with their big system purchase, they may be disappointed.- Armchair Empire

If you don’t fiddle with the default graphic settings you’ll be working a lot to find the right items, navigate the game world, and discover clues. Searching a blood-soaked hotel room is tough enough without having to stumble through the dark.- Armchair Empire

Weak CPU AI through most of the game is what really holds Test Drive back from being a Ferrari amongst Xbox racing games.- Armchair Empire

Instead of being the Mario challenger it could have been, the overall control, camera issues and the above-mentioned weak points of the game bring it down to good-but-not-good-enough status.- Armchair Empire

Both a triumph for Eyetoy gaming and a great tease for the future. Just getting past using the EyeToy to put the player on-screen is a marvelous innovation.- Armchair Empire

While Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06 isn't without its flaws -- I would have appreciated more courses and it does take a long time to "master" -- it is probably the best of EA's launch sports titles for the 360.- Armchair Empire

As much as I'll remember the awesome setting, the very satisfying conclusion, some really great outdoor set pieces, and just feeling like a bad ass Sith apprentice, I'll also remember the Star Destroyer Slap to the Face.- Armchair Empire

I found issues with the unit balance and the visual style of the units and buildings wasn't for me. The story line is campy and doesn't succeed at being engaging or funny in this style.- Armchair Empire

Eragon does a good job of trying to emulate a classic style of game, and at times, it almost succeeds. But even at its best, it's no more than a clone, which is coincidentally, the same issue with the Eragon novel.- Armchair Empire

Without the creative destruction elements that Volition's Geo Mod 2.5 engine allows, Red Faction: Armageddon would be an average shooter, but because it revels in twisting and snapping almost every object throughout and integrating it into the overall strategy of the game, Armageddon is not to be missed.- Armchair Empire

While somewhat mysteriously a new developer was employed for the if-it-ain't-broke-don't fix-it Crackdown 2, thankfully all of the volatile fun that made the original game such fun for the orb-collecting Xbox 360 denizens makes the return trip to Pacific City.- Armchair Empire

A few fresh ideas, but unfortunately they’re buried under a lot of old, archaic pieces of gameplay that really should have been fazed out a long time ago all crammed into a slow plodding package.- Armchair Empire
